A Distant Fairy Tail is an alternate universe based on heroic and war tales like the Arthurian Legend, Devil May Cry, The Rising of The Shield Hero and your typical guild adventures.
In this fairytale, there are almost no original characters because we will be playing canon character variants that we envision. Our story is set in the Pendragon Kingdom, which is essentially Arthurian Fiore and places as we were told from the canon will be Arthurian re-themed, at least for this early installment. The conflict revolves around the Holy Kingdom of Pendragon against the Demonic Kingdom of Vortigern, it's no surprise that Zeref and Tartarus will be the reoccurring and final antagonists.
The leading forces of good is none other than the guilds of Pendragon, that we will be slowly but surely unwrap as the story progresses, but for now, Fairy Tail is the leading narrative of the story. We shall partake the generic guild adventures while we're in warring times. Our goal is to dispatch the dreaded, Balam Alliance and the Emperor, Zeref Vortigern.
If the canon revolved around Dragons, we will get lesser of that because our narrative focus will be Demons.
We make our own story.

Hiro Mashima is infamous for recycling character designs and sometimes the characters themselves, as writers, we're no different from him and I need us to work together to establish what makes these variants distinct from their canon counterparts.
Anyone can make Natsu but it's not the Natsu that Mashima created.

While the canon depicts them as a legally aligned light guild, in here we do not. In this version, Fairy Tail is an independent guild that is held in high regard by Prince Jellal Pendragon, the guild being one of his most trusted allies due to the boomer incompetence of the Magic Council and devious scheming of his twin brother, Governor Siegrain Pendragon. The Guild Master of Fairy Tail is Laxus because Makarov is already dead by the time we start the story, I have nothing against the old man but he should stay dead.
The purpose of Fairy Tail is the personified trope of the almighty janitor, they're more competent than the guilds of light that are too saturated and vain because of magic capitalism. There are other competent guilds too and what makes Fairy Tail standout is the grounded realistic circumstances they are situated with, things like having to pay for the bills, debts and scarcity of quests because they aren't recognized as a legal guild. Rest assured, they are still the fun and loving guild, that we know and love and that will remain intact, no matter what verse or incarnation.
Fairy Tail is your homie that is ride or die.

Essentially a rebranded term of Wizard Saints, they have a part and importantly major role in the story just as Fairy Tail. The Knights of The Star Table would be a special case of deuteragonist, given their relation to Prince Jellal and if you haven't put two-and-two, they are indeed, Crime Sorciere. Are they characters for the taking for players? Yes they are but not until you have my go signal.
- Grand Knight, Silver Sparda, Ice Devil Slayer (deceased), succeeded by Princess Erza Belserion of Dragonov Kingdom
- Ultear Merlin, Court Mage of Pendragon, preceeded by Jose Porla, who is at large for his assassination of Makarov
- Sorano Aguria, Valkyrie Admiral of Pendragon
- Sir Siegrain Pendragon, Knight of Mystery
- Sir Melody, Knight of Maguilty
- Sir Erik, Knight of Hydra
- Sir Macbeth Galeas, Knight of Mirror
- Sir Sawyer, Knight of Godspeed
- Sir Jura, Knight of Earth
- Sir Arcadios, Knight of Jade
There are always legendary masters and figures in a story.
- Ur Skade, The Queen of Ice and Shadows. She's known as the Savior of Pendragon since she sacrificed herself to seal Deliora. She's the mother of Ultear Merlin and the Master of Silver Sparda's sons, Gray and Lyon.
- Silver Sparda, The Hero Without Fear and Herald of the Angel, Zeroth. He was the strongest Star Table Knight to have lived, his legend remains unsurpassed yet he was killed by Deliora.
- Precht Gaebolg. He was known as The Professor, who invented numerous Grimoires. His work was outstanding that Grimoires became the standardized norm for magic books.
- Igneel, The Fire Dragon King, who sacrificed himself to seal Aconologia.
I can go on with the legends, the rest is up to you so I can list them.
Good Guys Side, There seems to be an impostor
It would be foolish of me to reveal all the fun but here's a little something.
Yes, they are playable but please wait.
- Zeref Vortigern
- Mard Geer Tartarus
- Sriggan Septem
Yes, they are playable but please wait.
Q: How does Devil Slayer Magic work?
A: Angels taught Humans their magic, otherwise known as Exorcists, Devil Slayers are semi-humans that's called the Nephilim, an equilibrium between human and angel or demon form. Nephilims are known for their keen eyesight, they can see the world beyond our naked eye, entities that we do not see, this is actually helpful when they analyze the makings of a Demon.
Q: Why?
A: Dragons make you Dragonborns, Gods make you like gods, therefore it's logical that Angels make you into a Nephilim.
Q: How do Angels and Demons work?
A: They are one in the same, Demons are Fallen Angels, who lost holy privileges from Heaven and were thrown into Hell.
Q: Are Gray and Lyon, Dante and Vergil?
A: Well kinda, it's obvious isn't it ? But let's not stick to that basis alone, the players who will handle them will develop them.
Q: Are Zeref and Natsu related here?
A: Them being brothers never made sense in my opinion, Zeref being a handsome boy was such a big let down to his character, let him be evil and a tyrant for once while still being handsome.
Q: Then what does that make Natsu?
A: Natsu would be half-dragon here, that makes Igneel his biological father then.
Q: Is Natsu a demon?
A: No. Let the Dragon and Demon plots be different.
Q: Ughh…what about the 400-years plot?
A: Never happened, that's bullshit tbh. I ensure to make these variants within the modern timeline and not have a time travel craze.
Q: So Gray is the Protagonist?
A: Let's not go there. This is an RP after all, everyone is a "Protagonist" of their narrative. Everyone contributes.
Q: Can I make OCs?
A: No you can't. This RP is like a Multiverse, where we reimagine canon characters.
Q: Can Slayers have more than one element?
A: No.
Q: How many Slayers are we allowed to have and reimagine the variants with it?
A: That all depends on sensibility, Lyon is a prime example of this. Since his story is tied to Gray and Deliora, he's definitely deserving of being a Nephilim. Otherwise, it's a flat-out no from me.
Q: How are Shipping handled here?
A: Let's not go there, let's make things progress naturally. I don't care if Natsu x Lisanna is a thing or Laxus x Freed is a thing, this is our Fairy Tail, not the canon.
Q: Is this gonna follow Canon?
A: It has inspirations but we make our own original story.
Q: Can I unlock my Second Origin?
A: No. As of the current story, only the Star Table Knights except Erza have their Second Origin, unlocked. The reason is simple, I want competent and huge gaps between Star Table Knights and Fairy Tail. All your powers and the rest, you are gonna have to earn them.

Make Love, not War. We're adults here and I'm not gonna elaborate it further, the thing that I don't tolerate is bs and imposing traits.
