I know I made many RPs on here that ended badly.

However I have most my RP already written up and will continue writing as Many of you are welcome to join!

I need people to play as any characters.

Characters can be played by more than just one player.

Just share and take turns.

Give more and take less as Dinotopia says.

Arthur Denison – An American scientist and the main protagonist of the books. Following the death of his wife Rachel in 1860 he and his son Will left their home Boston on a voyage of discovery. Then in 1862 they were both washed up on the island of Dinotopia after being shipwrecked.
Will Denison – The son of Arthur Denison and the second main protagonist of the books. During his time on the island he met and fell in love with local Dinotopian girl, Sylvia Romano and eventually trained to be a Skybax Rider and was partnered with a Skybax named Cirrus.
Bix – A Protoceratops multilingual who is an ambassador and the good friend and traveling partner of Arthur Denison, having accompanied him to the World Beneath and Chandara.
Sylvia Romano – A Dinotopian girl who lives in the Hatchery with her parents Giorgio and Maria. Eventually she became a Skybax Rider with Will and was partnered with a Skybax named Nimbus.
Lee Crabb – The main antagonist of the books. He was washed up on Dinotopia in 1853, however Crabb despised the island and ever since had being plotting a means of escape.
Oriana Nascava – A musician who lives in Waterfall City who accompanied Arthur during his return trip to the World Beneath. At the end of the book she and Arthur are implied to have become romantically linked.
Nallab – The assistant librarian of the library of Waterfall City.
Brokenhorn – A well respected Triceratops elder who is the son of the famous Greyback the Wise.
Oolu – Oolu is the chief Skybax instructor at Sky City, where he trains Skybax Riders.
Gideon Altaire – The main protagonist of the third Dinotopian book, The First Flight. He lived on the island of Poseidos during the Age of Heroes.

You may choose to introduce a new character or use an existing one from the Dinotopia universe.

Start of the Roleplay

[Setting: The bustling city of Chandara, in the heart of Dinotopia, a few days after Arthur Denison and Bix have completed their journey to meet the Emperor Hugo Khan]

Narrator: The sun is rising over Chandara, casting a warm golden light on the ornate architecture of the city. The streets are starting to come alive with the sounds of humans and dinosaurs going about their daily routines, trading goods, and exchanging pleasantries. Arthur Denison and Bix, still adjusting to their new surroundings, marvel at the wonders of the city and the unique culture that thrives here.

Arthur Denison: (looking around in awe) I can't believe we're finally here, Bix. Chandara is truly a sight to behold. What do you think we should explore first?

Bix: (nods in agreement) It's amazing, Arthur. I think we should visit the Great Library of Chandara. It's said to hold a wealth of knowledge about the history of Dinotopia and the unique bond between humans and dinosaurs.

Narrator: As Arthur and Bix make their way through the lively streets, they come across a group of children playing with a young dinosaur. The scene reminds them of the unity and harmony that exists in this land.
Narrator: As Arthur and Bix continue walking through the bustling streets of Chandara, they notice a young woman with a sketchbook in her hands. She is intently studying a group of dinosaurs and humans working together to unload a shipment from a large cart. The woman seems to be an artist, capturing the scene in her sketchbook with great detail. (looking up from her sketchbook and noticing Arthur and Bix) Oh, hello there! I don't think I've seen you two around here before. Are you new to Chandara?

Arthur Denison: (smiling) Yes, we just arrived recently. My name is Arthur, and this is my companion Bix. We've come a long way to see this magnificent city. Your sketch is quite impressive, by the way.

Young Artist: (blushing) Thank you! My name is Lila, and I'm an aspiring artist here in Chandara. I try to capture the beauty of our city and the harmony between humans and dinosaurs. If you're new here, I'd be happy to show you around and introduce you to some interesting places.

Bix: (excited) That sounds wonderful, Lila! We were actually just discussing visiting the Great Library of Chandara.

Lila: (grinning) Oh, that's one of my favorite places! It's not far from here. Follow me, and I'll take you there.

Narrator: Arthur, Bix, and Lila walk through the vibrant streets of Chandara, passing markets, workshops, and gardens where humans and dinosaurs coexist in perfect harmony. As they approach the Great Library, they are struck by its grandeur and the intricate carvings on its facade.



Narrator: As they enter the Great Library of Chandara, the trio is greeted by the sight of towering shelves filled with scrolls, books, and various artifacts. The library's atmosphere is one of quiet reverence, with dinosaurs and humans alike browsing the vast collection of knowledge.

Lila: (whispering) This place is always so inspiring. There are works here that date back thousands of years, chronicling the history and culture of Dinotopia. Feel free to explore; I'll be right here if you have any questions.

Arthur Denison: (looking around in wonder) It's incredible. I can only imagine the wealth of information contained in these walls. I'm particularly interested in learning more about the technology and innovations developed by the inhabitants of Dinotopia.

Bix: And I want to find more about the different species of dinosaurs living on the island and their roles in Dinotopian society.

Narrator: Arthur and Bix split up to explore the library, each drawn to their own areas of interest. Lila, meanwhile, finds a quiet corner to continue her sketching.

(After some time has passed, approaches Arthur) Arthur, I hope you're finding the information you're seeking. Did you know that there's a section dedicated to Dinotopian inventions and innovations? I think you'd be fascinated by what you'll find there.

Arthur Denison: (smiling) Thank you, Lila. I'll definitely check it out. I've already discovered some fascinating facts about the ingenious ways in which humans and dinosaurs have worked together to develop unique solutions to everyday challenges.

Narrator: As the trio continues to explore the library, they find themselves drawn into the rich history and culture of Dinotopia, uncovering stories of adventure, friendship, and the power of cooperation. Lila: (excitedly) The marketplaces of Chandara are some of the most lively and colorful places on the entire island. You'll find all sorts of exotic goods, delicious food, and skilled artisans here. Just remember to keep an eye on your belongings, as the market can get quite crowded!

Arthur Denison: (grinning) I've always enjoyed visiting markets. They're a fantastic way to learn about the local culture and meet interesting people.

Bix: I can't wait to see what kind of delicious treats we can find!

Narrator: As they enter the marketplace, the trio is immediately surrounded by a cacophony of sounds, colors, and scents. Stalls line the streets, selling everything from handcrafted jewelry to mouthwatering dishes made from local ingredients. Dinosaurs of various sizes and types work alongside humans, carrying goods or assisting with transactions.

(Lila): (pointing to a nearby stall) Over there is one of my favorite food stalls! They serve the most amazing saurian rolls filled with fresh vegetables and seasoned meat. You must try one!

Arthur Denison: (curious) Saurian rolls, you say? That sounds delightful. Let's give them a try!

Bix: (nodding) I'm always up for trying new foods.

Narrator: The trio approaches the food stall, and Arthur orders a few saurian rolls for them to share. As they enjoy their meal, they continue to explore the marketplace, visiting various stalls and engaging in conversation with the vendors and fellow shoppers.

Bix: (curious) I wonder how they make these.

Narrator: As they discuss the pottery, the stall owner, an elderly human named Haran, approaches them with a warm smile.

Haran: (cheerfully) Good day, dear customers! My name is Haran, and I'm the creator of these pottery pieces. If you have any questions or need assistance, please let me know.



(Lila): (smiling) Haran, your work is truly beautiful. My friends Arthur and Bix here were wondering how you create these intricate designs.

Haran: (beaming with pride) Thank you for your kind words. The process involves a mixture of Dinotopian clay, various natural pigments, and, of course, a great deal of patience and skill. I'd be happy to give you a quick demonstration if you're interested.

Arthur Denison: (eager) We'd love to see it, Haran!

Narrator: Haran shows the trio his process of creating the pottery, skillfully shaping the clay and painting intricate patterns with a steady hand. They watch in awe as a new piece comes to life before their eyes.
As they continue exploring the marketplace, they come across a commotion near a stall selling exotic spices. A young boy is caught trying to steal a small pouch of spices, and the stall owner is furious.

Stall Owner: (angrily) You little thief! I work hard to make a living, and you try to take what's not yours!

Young Boy: (defensive) I'm sorry, I didn't mean any harm. I just wanted to make something special for my family.

Narrator: Lila, Arthur, and Bix exchange glances, wondering if they should intervene and help defuse the situation.

Stall Owner: (still angry) That may be, but it doesn't change the fact that he tried to steal from me!

Arthur Denison: (chiming in) We understand your frustration, but maybe we can find a solution that benefits everyone. What if the boy works at your stall for a few hours to make up for his mistake? In return, he could take home a small portion of the spices he was trying to take.

Bix: (nodding) It's a fair compromise, and it might teach the boy a valuable lesson about honesty and hard work.

Narrator: The stall owner considers their proposal for a moment before finally agreeing, albeit reluctantly.

Stall Owner: (sighing) Fine, but only because you three seem sincere in trying to help. The boy can work for me this afternoon, and I'll give him a small pouch of spices.

Young Boy: (grateful) Thank you so much! I promise I won't let you down.

Bix: (excited) I'd love to hear more about their experiences in the sky!

Narrator: The trio approaches the Skybax rider, who has just finished regaling the children with a thrilling tale. The children disperse, leaving an opportunity for Lila, Arthur, and Bix to introduce themselves.

(Lila): (greeting the Skybax rider) Hello! My name is Lila, and these are my friends Arthur and Bix. We couldn't help but overhear your fascinating stories. It's an honor to meet a Skybax rider in person.

Skybax Rider: (smiling warmly) The pleasure is mine! I'm Renn, a Skybax rider stationed at the nearby Skybax Training Academy. It's always a joy to share my experiences with others, especially those who appreciate the wonders of Dinotopia.

Arthur Denison: (eager) We'd love to hear more about your adventures and the bond between Skybax riders and their partners.
