Riyu growled in quiet complaint. There was nothing wrong with her paw. She was just grooming! She pulled her paw back and returned to doing the same thing on her other paw, deeming the paw Axel had picked up now in need of a full wash to remove Axel's scent, just for the sake of it.

Riyu looked at Axel's hands, then back at Axel's face, then back to Axel's hands. She wore an expression only to be defined as confuzzled. Her tail flicked then she got off Axel's lap, sat beside her, and turned human. "Why are you doing that?" She asked, tone worried. Yes, she could speak in her wolf form, she just chose not to as it was difficult.

"Doing what?" She asked, Riyu's worry leading to her peeling more skin off of her fingers, dark red blood dribbling down a couple of her fingers

Riyu reached out and grabbed Axel's wrists, pulling them apart. "That," Her ears angled to indicate the blood on Axel's fingers.

"Well, it's not okay to hurt yourself like that. Besides, I find giving a wolf pets is a better nefvous habit," With that, she returned to her wolf form and lay back on Axel's lap.

She slowly petted Riyu, the bleeding had stopped, leaving her to gets angry and red were the skin was peeled, she tried to resist the urge to start peeling the skin again

Riyu growled happily, rolling so she could get tummy rubs. Her tail thumped on the couch and all four paws ended up in the air, though she didn't care.
