Thanks for the good times, Est, I'll miss having ya around. Hope everything works out for you with whatever's going on, and you're always welcome to come back if at any point things improve!

As for the current situation IC, I'm not sure. It's too significant a plot to roll back or ignore, but I also won't control a player character. My initial thought is to continue on the current course, and focus the upcoming arc more on adventures in Vaal Nero itself with Otis, Chunji and Iraleth while the trial with Ciara is more of an offscreen affair? It's unfortunate it had to go this way, but that's the way forward I could see.

A possible way of doing things could be...when they arrive at Vaal Nero (or along the way) Ciara gets abducted by whatever. The adults have to figure out what happened, while the kiddos are freed to do their adventuring hijinks.

Just shooting shit out there though. Otis is probably gonna also want to look into the vision he received while lobotomizing his Adapa.
