the armor is lightweight :P and it's made for hunting dragons so he'd probably rarely wear it unless he went into dragon territory in order to keep it from getting damaged >.> (it'd be more expensive than a sports car by comparison)

because if the weapons were fast they were weak as chopsticks
if they made some damage they were as slow as a snail (topaz)

true... kinda the reason i went for a greatsword >.>... i guess it's up to preference then. a katana would require alot of practice and training to use fully while a greatsword can be picked up by pretty much anyone with the strength to use it...
