Mostly repeating what’s in my bio, but first the fun stuff:

My preferred habitats are stories with depth, and Private Messages, I don’t publicly post with any possibility of gore, violence or anything particularly ‘spicy’. Which (to be totally honest) is anything I actually enjoy writing.

Preferred themes: Romance, horror, Lovecraftian creatures, monsters, resistance, post-apocalypse futuristic, super-soldiers, post-apocalypse dark-fantasy, angst, love and support during hardships, modern magic or fantasy…plus mixtures and I will probably end up adding more.
Optionals are romance and post-apocalypse aspects.

I particularly like exploration of what makes someone or something human and then the testing of it.

Don’t feel a need to have a plot ready, just PM me your interests and we can start building something.

I don’t do canon characters of fandoms but I’ll use the world setting and characters vaguely based on canon ones.

Now the less fun stuff:
- Ages 25+ please, I’m always up for mature themes, but I have an age comfort zone I keep.
- 3 paragraphs minimum, I’m all for quality over quantity and understand not all scenes allow for longer but let’s not let it sink lower than 3, please!
- I sometimes write on my phone, I even write long posts on my phone, formatting gets funky sometimes and autocorrect doesn’t pick up everything. Not a rule, just a heads up!
- I can play multiple characters (I’m not gender specific) but I don’t expect my partner to do that.
- I like to OOC over Discord because I can be quite quick fire with my plotting, please don’t be intimidated!
- Mature themes already mentioned, I like discussing possible limits when the potential of the scene comes up.
- If I’m not interested anymore or something comes up I’ll let you know, I do expect the same!
- I find it needs to be said - nothing kids related!

I don’t think this needs to be any longer until someone leads me to add something.

Unaware of inheritance

Kaleb Thorn is a 28-year-old human mercenary with a latent Thaumaturge or blood magic heritage, he remains unaware of this fact. He stands at 5'9" and has a lean, muscular build. He is skilled in combat, particularly with a longsword, and has honed survival and scouting skills. He has a carefree and charming persona but this masks a deep emotional trauma from childhood, whereupon he witnessed his mother's tragic death, a memory he has since suppressed. His father, a powerful Thaumaturge manipulates Kaleb without his knowledge.

Kaleb’s Thaumaturge abilities occasionally manifest in enhanced reflexes, strength, an ability to sense blood and manipulate emotions. He though he remains ignorant of the source of his talents. He is haunted by repressed memories and carries a pendant that holds clues to his past. Kaleb is driven by a need to prove himself, often taking reckless risks, and struggles with trust and emotional vulnerability. His true heritage holds a grim fate: to fully awaken his Thaumaturge powers, he must spill the blood of someone he loves, a future his father plans to exploit.

Lord of Hungering Shadows

Sebastian Nightswood is the cursed Lord of Castle Nightswood, for all intents and purposes he resembles a vampire. He is a 250+ year-old human bound to an eldritch entity that grants him immortality but comes with severe consequences. A once human nobleman, Sebastian willingly accepted a curse to prevent the awakening of an eldritch entity, he became a conduit for its hunger. His immortality has left him without aging, but he suffers from burning when exposed to sunlight and must periodically feed on blood. This blood is provided willingly by nightly donations by the townspeople he protects.

Sebastian's curse manifests a circular scar of interlocking symbols on his back is the contract rendered in scarred flesh. Though he passes each night in jaded resignation and hedonism, he cares deeply for his people and maintains their loyalty through respect rather than manipulation. His entitled and selfish behavior, born from centuries of existence, often masks inner resentment and mental strain from the constant presence of the eldritch force.

While he possesses enhanced physical abilities, regeneration, and an eldritch aura that can warp reality, Sebastian's greatest weakness is his dependence on the blood offerings and his vulnerability to sunlight. His primary goal is to keep the entity dormant, maintaining the balance while continuing to live life on his own terms, uninterested in being a hero despite the sacrifices he made.
