I won't list all of the songs that I dance to (I usually have 15-16 competitive dances a year so there is a lot of music) but I can tell you my favorites! This year I'm dancing to "Sexy Silk" by Jessie J for my jazz solo, "Torn" and "Resolve" by Nathan Lanier (thy're mashed together for a routine called "Tempest" It's my favorite piece this season, his music is seriously an eargasm like I have a soft spot for beautiful instrumental music) and "Be Italian" from Musical Nine. You should check them all out just because they're awesome songs. Oh! Another one that I danced to last year is really good; it's called "Body Love" by Mary Lambert and every time I listen to this song I cry. Anyways, those are just a couple! I'd list them all but we may be here forever!

I don't mind you're questions, it's not like you're rude or stereotypical at all (But just so you know, I do say "eh" all the time hehe).
Quebec and Nova Scotia are really different, just so ya know! I've lived here my entire life, but I've been to Quebec a couple of times. Over there the cost of living is a lot more expensive, especially just outside Old Quebec City. But the houses are amazingly beautiful! And in Montreal the shopping is kinda great, but there is a lot of homeless; I think we've talked about this though. Here there is a lot more water, it was weird for me when I was in Montreal especially. Old Quebec City is just on the St. Lawrence river so it wasn't as weird but when I was in Montreal and Toronto it was odd being in a city that wasn't close to the water. Halifax isn't all that big in comparison to some places and almost every where you go you can see the harbor.
Whoa, really? What do you call housecoats? That's kinda crazy! You haven't really used any words that I found odd, but sometimes when I'm RPing with someone and they say something about money they'll talk about dollar bills and I'm like.. whoa wait? I'm just so use to coins!

Also, you're a really good writer, just so you know! I love your posts :)

Sweet, I'll go check those out!

Haha! I was resisting the urge to ask about "eh," how'd you know?? xD Do you really say it though? Hm, what's something typical we say here.. I can't think of anything x) Probably "like," I don't know. It definitely depends on what state you're from. That's funny, so you're really used to being close to the water. Everywhere I've lived has been land-locked, except San Diego (which I was really too young to remember) and Florida, when we lived right on the bayou. Do you ever eat poutine? My old roomie raves about it all the time.

I guess we'd call a housecoat a bathrobe? But I don't think you'd hang around the house in a bathrobe. So I guess just "robe." I mean, I can picture what it is, but I don't have one myself x) I'm sure other people here have them though. Especially up north, so they don't have to turn the heater up I guess. Heh, housecoat. Like a cozy coat for inside. Oh yeah, no dollars. Loonies and toonies! I'm a regular expert.

Thank you! I like reading your posts too. You're clear and descriptive and you move things along. I can't tell you how lucky I feel that you decided to respond to my interest check.

I actually do say it! Haha, my best friend and I have had conversations where almost every sentence is ended with "eh" and we don't even realize it! But I know a lot of people who don'y typically say it. To be honest I say 'like' all of the time, too. It's getting a little excessive actually but I feel that if I said 'said' instead of 'like' I'll seem way too proper. Poutine is my life, oh my god! You can't get any better then Quebec poutine with real cheese curds! If you ever get a chance to go to Old Quebec, you have to go to Ashtons!

You must buy one... my housecoat is the best piece of clothing in my wardrobe! Haha, it's about knee length with multi-colored strips and a hood. I want a full length silk one, just because that would be awesome :p To be perfectly honest, I hate all money. I just wish that everything was free just so that I didn't have to count change. I know nothing

I'm better at non-dialogue parts, which kinda sucks since this is based around character interaction/dialogue. I'm still trying to get use to RPing again, it's been a couple of years and I've honestly never done something at this caliber until recently, so I'm a little rusty :p But really, you're good at it! You're posts are always so easy to read just because your word choice/matters of correctness are always so well done! I'm super glad that I found your interest check, this is honestly one of the best RPs I'm in at the moment.

Just in case I haven't already told you, I'm at a competition all this weekend. I may be on a little bit tonight after I compete but that's probably it.

Speaking of "eh," I just remembered this family guy clip.

Poutine is my life. xD I'm positive that my roommate has made an exclamation like this. You guys are driving me crazy, I really want to try it! So Ashton's is the place to get it huh? If I ever do make it up to Canada I will definitely check it out x) I believe you that it's good. I mean, it's fries, cheese and gravy. You just can't go wrong with such a beautiful combination xD

A full length silk robe sounds so elegant x) I should get one too. Although, the weather is warming up here. I switched from the heater to the A/C today.

You don't seem rusty at all! You're one of the better writers I've partnered up with. Do you typically do FxF or do you mix it up?

Gotchya, thanks for the heads up. Best of luck at your competition!

Cheese curds! That's even better then just plain cheese! xD And it really is the best thing ever! McDonalds has really good poutine, not as good as real Quebec poutine, but it's still pretty great.

Omg get one! Even if it's just for own amusement! :P

Thanks :) This is actually the first FxF I've been in, to be honest. I don't really RP based on my sexual preferences, I choose what RPs to do based on the plot, the level of writing and how compatible I think I'll be with the other person/people. What about yourself? I'm assuming that since this was your idea you're more into FxF then anything else..?

What! Even your McDonald's sells it?? Man, they should try it on the US market, I bet it would sell. I think it's pretty interesting that McDonald's and other franchises like Subway will customize their menu depending on their location. I did a short study abroad in Japan one summer and a group of us decided to try a McDonalds over there at least once. They actually had burgers where instead of bread for the buns, there were rice buns! There were some other differences too, more seafood options. Also the portion sizes were waaaaaay smaller than what we're used lol x)

Yeah, I do prefer FxF. But I also like playing male characters opposite a female love interest. I've only been doing role plays for the past two years, off and on, depending on how busy I am. I started out only playing male characters, funny enough. The very first role play I ever did was here on this site, but the old version. It was a Pirate's of the Caribbean RP, and I was Captain Jack Sparrow lol x) I'm really only attracted to original plots now, instead of ones based on tv shows, books, etc. But speaking of tv shows, do you have any you're in to? I'm a Walking Dead fan myself x)

Edit: Haha, I don't think I've ever eaten cheese curds. Feels like I'm missing out though.

That is really cool, actually! And omg you were in Japan?? That must have been amazing! What was it like?

Oh, I see! I'm pretty flexible with the characters I play, although I prefer female and I don't really do fandoms either. Only two years?? You're so good! Haha, I've been at it for four or five now, I was young when I started on some other site that I can't remember now. Pirates of the Caribbean? I kinda love those movies just saying :p That must have been a fun RP!

Game of Thrones... omg I am counting down the days, you have no idea how obsessed I am. Like, it's bad. I have the biggest crush on Kit Harington (he plays Jon Snow) and Emilia Clark (Daenerys Targaryen) to the point where it's actually creepy and I'm in love <3 Oh and I also really like American Horror Story and Law and Order SVU! I use to watch Walking Dead but I haven't been following it as much recently...

Cheese Curds are basically just balls of cheese, they're amazing :p

Omg, Game of Thrones! I literally just watched an episode earlier today! I only have the season 3 finale left until I'm caught up - just in time for the season 4 premiere. The episode I just watched is the one where that disgusting old geezer with the child wife killed Rob and his mother. With Arya right outside. The emotions are too much ;_; Jon Snow is extremely lovable. And yeah, Dany is awesome x) And Arya is a total badass. I hope something horrific happens to that little prick Joffrey. Oh but I like the Tyrell girl that he's supposed to marry. I know I'm supposed to hate Cersei but I just can't because of totally shallow reasons x)

The Walking Dead isn't as good now as when it first started unfortunately, but I still watch it religiously lol. I used to be addicted to Law and Order SVU a few years ago, but I haven't watched it in forever! I tried to watch American Horror story but... the thing is, I don't think anyone would guess this about me, but I'm sort of a wimp when it comes to scary movies/shows haha xD I couldn't get through the first episode, because I was watching it alone, at night. Yeah, yeah pathetic, I know xD I need to watch it with my friends or my sister or something. Have you ever seen Orange is the New Black? It's on Netflix and it's soooo good. Just be careful though, because if you ever decide to watch it, you'll be tempted to binge through the entire season x)

Japan was amazing. The program was only a month, starting in June. We stayed in Okazaki, Aichi Prefecture, which is in the central part of Japan, and we visited Tokyo, Kyoto, Ise, and Nagoya. It was seriously one of the best experiences of my life. There were about 20 of us, all undergrad students. We had a class on japanese traditional and pop culture during the weekdays and had the weekends free to explore. My favorite part were the days we spent in Kyoto, where we visited Inari Shrine, Kiyomizu-dera, and a castle that I'm forgetting the name of.. We met so many great people, everyone we met was so hospitable and interested in talking to us about American culture and what we thought of Japan. Our trip actually took place the summer after that devastating earthquake and tsunami hit Sendai and there was that radiation scare, so we talked to a lot of people about that. All of the public buildings/ government owned buildings and many of the privately owned ones had their A/C low and occasional black outs to help with the power outage in the cities up north. It was incredible to see that kind of community service on a national scale. I made some friends while I was there and we still exchange letters! The food was awesome. The bathrooms were cool. I could talk so much more about Japan xD

Edit: Dang, I think I missed ya, since I took so long to reply x) Just in case, goodnight! Hope your competition goes well!

Ah! That episode killed me, I cried so hard and had to stop the show for a couple of minutes. (Told you I was obsessed). Ugh, Joffrey makes me so mad! He just needs to die and soon. Although I don't think the show would be the same without the character and the actual actor is a sweetheart. I can't say I very much like the girl he is suppose to marry, but her brother on the other hand omg he is such a cutie! And Cersei... there is some points when I love her and other points where I just wish she would die a slow and painful death, it's usually the latter though. xD I will admit to the fact that I have an odd adoration for Tyrion, he is so sarcastic and witty but he cares for people more then most of the other characters in the series.

I know what you mean, I use to watch Lost and even after the show started getting bad I had to still watch it just because I felt like I needed to. The only reason I stopped watching Walking Dead was because I just didn't have the time anymore. Law and Order is actually the best show ever! I'm just starting watching it from season one but I've seen a bunch of episodes from some of the later seasons. It's great! Haha, AHS can get pretty scary, actually :p I'm just a weird horror buff who absolutely loves scary things so I love the show :p I've never seen Orange is the New Black, but I heard it's really good! I might try watching it, and I'll make sure to pace myself ;)

That sounds so amazing! I've never been out of North America but I would absolutely love to travel someday. What you said about the power outages and such is really cool. There is so much bad in the world that hearing about people helping each other is so heartwarming and refreshing!
Also, you can talk your heart out about it! I want to hear more xD Why were the bathrooms so cool?? Haha.

Do you read the Game of Thrones books? I've never read them, but there's a guy at work who's obsessed with the show and books and I like to listen to him chat about all of his theories about what's going to happen, even though I still don't know everyone's names xD I told him I that I have a soft spot for Cersei and he practically fell over and said she's a lot worse in the books x) But yeah, I like Tyrion too, I think he's one of the best characters.

Oh the bathrooms are cool for soooo many reasons x) The ones in the hotel near the airport were cool because the toilets were high-tech. The one's in my hotel had a control panel that looked kind of like this:
That hotel bathroom also had a mirror with a heater behind it so that when the bathroom got all steamy from the shower, the mirror didn't fog up! Sort of a small detail, but I thought it was kind of cool haha. I stayed at the hotel after my flight from the US, and then the next morning I met a couple other people from the study abroad group and we took a bus to the Youth Center where our program was based. It was a lot like a YMCA; it had classrooms, auditoriums, basketball and tennis courts, a cafeteria, a lounge/hang out room, and dorm-style bedrooms - both Japanese and Western style. The bathrooms there were also amazing. First, the toilets were in a completely separate room form the bath and showers. You had to wear slippers when you entered the bathroom, which were kept by the door. The toilets were all "Japanese style," which are basically porcelain holes in the ground heh. There was one "Western style" toilet, which incidently had a sign on the stall door that read: Western Style/Handicap xD The first few days, all of us girls lined up to use the one Western toilet. But by the end of the first week, we were all using the Japanese style toilets without a second thought haha. The bathroom - that is, the room that actually contained the bath - was incredible. It was like a spa. So basically you walk in and there's a small room where you take your slippers off, then another room where you can store your clothes, another with mirrors and sinks, and then finally you enter the enormous tiled room with the biggest bath you've ever seen. It's all steamy because the water super hot. Along the wall are mirrors and shower heads with small stools in front of them. That's where you shampoo your hair and wash off before you enter the bath. On the first night, we all walked into the bathroom and it hit us that this bath time was a communal activity in Japan! Now there were three private shower stalls, but there was no waaay we were all going to have time to shower individually (we had an allotted time to use the bath). So at first we all just sort of stood around xD And I don't know how it happened but eventually most of us were like, what the hell, let's go for it! Oh man, I know it sounds totally uncomfortable. And it sort of was at first. I mean, talk about lack of privacy. I never never never would have said before the trip that I'd be comfortable using a communal bath for crying out loud. I think it was easier because we didn't know each other, oddly enough. Anyway, you've got to believe me when I say it quickly got to the point were no one felt weird. It was everyone's favorite time of the day. I can't speak for the dudes in our group, who of course had a separate bath, but for us girls, we would spend an hour soaking in the giant swimming pool bath and chatting about the day. Nobody stared, everyone was cool. For the four days I had my period, I obviously had to use the private showers. Heh, probably too much info, but just in case you were wondering.

Omg, at this point I'm going to write more than I do in my RP posts about Japan x) I'll tell you in bits and pieces. Ask me anything! Also, how was your dance competition???

[ Also, about to go listen to "Poison Oak" by Bright Eyes. x) ]

I read the first one and half of the second one (which is the worse in the series I have been told) but I stopped because it was really boring! I'm thinking about trying to finish it after I'm done the series I am reading now (Stephen King's "Dark Tower" series, holy I am in love with these books <3) Your coworker is right, though, Cersei is more of a bitch in the books, Tyrion is also worse in the first book but after he meets Shaye he starts becoming nicer. xD

That. Is. Amazing. Holy crap, I want a toilet like that! And the mirror... it's my biggest pet peeve when the mirrors fog up when I'm showering even when I open a window or turn on the fan, so I think I need a heated mirror. It's just a must. XP As for the communal bathrooms, I think I could do that! It would depend on who I was with and the situation. It would definitely be little weird at first, though. Boo, period problems! Otherwise that sounds like it was pretty cool. What were the classes like??

The comp was great! They mark 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and everyone gets a medal of either Gold (80% or more) Silver (50% or more) and Bronze. I placed 1st with a gold for my Cabaret Solo, I also got a recognition award from the judges and a high mark for all Open Cabaret solos/duos/trios (there was five up for that award). My duo placed 1st with a silver (those two routines were the only ones in their categories, so obviously I got first. It doesn't even really count :p) which is only to be expected because it's a really silly number called "Don't Call Me [Trailer Trash]". You either love it or hate it :p The only group routine that I performed this competition placed 1st with a gold. We messed up a bunch in it so it didn't do as well as we were hoping (my cousin said she expected the routine to win the entire competition). One of my productions placed 1st with a gold and received a special award for creepiness (there was a lot wrong with that routine. We had to change and do make up backstage in like 30 seconds, I was sitting down getting my make up done and my ballet teacher was like "It's fine. It's fine, we have time." And I just laughed and said. "Nance, I'm on right now." We also were way too late at the end and had to finish the piece without music). My other production also placed 1st with a gold and we got an invite into the showcase which was awesome! My trio placed 1st with a silver, don't get me started with this one because I'll end up seeming like a snotty little bitch! Anyways, I'm gonna stop now because I could go on forever.

Edit: Bright Eyes is the best band ever <3 I love them! What type of music do you listen to?

The classes were really fun! We studied Japanese popular culture and traditional culture and how they've influenced each other over time. We watched movies, animations, read a few books (which we were recommended to read before the trip), and even some comics. We also had lessons in traditional arts like calligraphy, tea ceremony, and flower arrangement. Parts of the week were also spent visiting other cities in Japan and places in Okazaki, which is the city the Youth Center was in. Oh, I forgot to mention that several groups of high schoolers would spend a few night at this Youth Center for basketball camp, or English camp or something, which was awesome because we got to meet a ton of people this way! Japanese kids all take English in school, which doesn't mean they're fluent of course (I took years of Spanish and I suck x) ), but we could usually communicate a surprising amount with what they knew and with what little Japanese we knew. That was the coolest part, meeting Japanese people and finding commonalities with them, despite our cultures being radically different. Anyway, in Okazaki we visited Okazaki Castle and park, a spectacular art museum, city hall, and a miso factory. After class, we'd often go explore the city on our own, like shopping centers, bakeries, convenience stores, arcades, and this fantastic used book shop that was filled wall to wall with comics. We of course had to balance our time with our assignments. We didn't really have homework, except to be prepared for discussion in class, which was always super interesting. We did have a final paper and a few tests, but they were easy haha. Mannnn, this is making me feel nostalgic. I want to go back. Or just travel with a group again, anywhere. There's nothing better than going to a foreign country with a bunch of people because you get to know everyone so well and they know you and it's like there's no better way to bond with someone than when you've gotten sort of lost someplace but you don't really care because everything around you is interesting and different than what you're used to xD

I want to show you some of the pictures I took! I'm going to try to find this webpage I made for a class a while ago (don't judge my web skillz haha) that has some pics on it.

Wow, it sounds like you did really well!! First with gold! Are you like the best one in your class? Don't be modest x) It's fun to see how passionate you are about all of this. What does it mean to get an invite into the showcase? You get to perform at another competition? Do you have competitions every weekend?

I listen to all kinds of stuff really, I like variety. Although, I'm not really a fan of country music or hardcore rap. Right now I'm in love with a band called The Shins.

Wow, man your making me want to travel so badly!! The most exotic place I've been is New York a couple weeks ago, haha.

So you did all of this when you were in high school? Wow, that must of have been great! I feel like meeting the locals would be the best part, and just comparing cultures it would certainly be a great way of learning up close and personal! I'm just a little bit awestruck and how amazing it must have been, and I agree travelling with a group is so fun, especially when you get lost! How did you come across the opportunity? Oh and tell me more about what the food was like? Also, I seriously want to see those pictures, and don't worry I suck at making websites so I'm in no place to judge at all :p The extent of my website-making-skills is my blog on tumblr, hehe.

No, I'm not the best in my class, I'm not the worst either but most of us are on the same level. In my school they do classes by age/dance level/"grades" completed (We take dance exams that determine your placement in a class). Most people just stick to regular competitive classes but some of us that work hard and show a bit more talent/technique are in an elite squad with a much higher caliber of dance. I've been with that group since it started almost five years ago and it is the best experience of my life. So no I'm not the best in my class but in the studio I may be considered one of the better dancers.

Getting into the showcase just means that we get to perform the routine again and are illegible to win the "overall" award, which basically means that you win the entire competition. The routine that won this year was from another school and it was so good! This year I have four competitions and this weekend coming up is the only free one I have until the season is over! My grades are going to suffer so badly and I'm dreading it...

I have a strong dislike or country and rap, too! I'm more of an indie-rock type of person. Bright eyes, Arctic Monkeys, Lana Del Rey... those types of bands. I've never heard of The Shins before but I think I'll check them out!

Oh, made it to page two in our RP x) We're on a roll.

Aw man, I've actually never been to New York! But I might be going this summer with some friends if everything works out. I'll be so excited if we do, I've wanted to see New York City for a long time! I'm definitely going to Washington D.C. this summer with my family. Ever since my parents lived there, they've always gone back to visit every year. They love that city. I love it too, I could see myself living there in the future.

I actually did my summer abroad program to Japan through the University of California at Davis. They have programs for a bunch of places and they take upcoming freshmen and undergrad students from anywhere in the country. So most of the kids I was with were Californian, but there were a few out of state people like me. I checked out their study abroad programs because I was vaguely familiar with the school since my aunt studied there (all my extended family lives out there on the west coast). I would have just gone through my own university, except that there was only one very competitive program to Japan and you had to have three semesters of Japanese language to be accepted. Sooooo basically I cut corners to get myself there faster haha xD I'd wanted to go to Japan for a long time, ever since my uncle lived there for two years and taught english. Plus I love Japanese art, especially traditional woodblock prints by artists like Hokusai and Hiroshige. Japan is also home to some of the world's best graphic designers! I'm just in love with the Japanese aesthetic. And also the food lol xD Ah, so amazingly good. I swear half the pictures I took over there were of food.

Lol speaking of pictures, I did find that website, but like it has my name and stuff on it so I think I'll just link the photos individually on here to show you. Oh, actually, I'll make a thread and put them on there! I'll figure out some way, I'm a little proud of them and I have to confess that I like to show them off x)

It must be cool to be with the same group of dancers for so long. Are your friends mostly dancers too?

Ohhh I love Lana Del Ray! Even though I cry whenever I listen to Young and Beautiful ;_;

Werk it, haha!

It's so amazing there! Trust me, you'll love it. And if you go see a broadway show, definitely go to Wicked! It's really good and I may or may not have cried... Washington must be cool! I just wish I could go everywhere in the entire world unfortunately I don't have any money so I'm basically screwed :p

Oh, I see! I would say hell no to that Japanese language course... I majorly suck at learning new languages! But that really must have been a great opportunity! I don't know much about Japanese art and stuff like that but I'll take your word on it being awesome :) Would you ever consider maybe moving to Japan and working out there? You would get to eat the food all the time... just saying X) Yeah, don't send me the website if it has any of your information on it, I don't really care to know any of it anyways and plus I don't share personal information online either. But I do really want to see those photos, so yeah try and make a thread or something!

Yeah, most of them are :p I have a couple of school friends who don't dance but most people in my life are connected to it somehow! I met my best friend two years ago at a competition and now we're inseparable, haha!

I always get emotional when I hear Summertime Sadness, it's about her best friend committing suicide and that just gets me. My favourite Lana song of all time would have to be "Carmen" or "Off to the Races"!

Wicked!!! I love Wicked! I actually saw it here in Raleigh, not with Idina Menzel unfortunately, but it was still incredible! I have the cd in my car x) I would absolutely love to see a broadway show in New York though. Ironically, I've seen a show in the West End in London, which is like the UK version of Broadway (I'll add some of my UK and France pics to that thread). I saw Les Miserables at Queen's Theater, and it totally blew me away. I love the movie version too. Another cd I have in my car haha.

As a matter of fact, I'm sorta considering doing the JET program, which is an English teaching program in Japan. You have to apply and if you're accepted then you sign a year-long contract, which you can renew at the end of each year. I think it would be an amazing experience but I'm still not sure... I think I want to focus on jumpstarting my graphic design career once I graduate. We'll see x) The food alone makes it pretty tempting lol.

Oh wow, I didn't know it was about suicide. I love that song though.

Man, I'm beat today. I just got home from a gross 3-11pm shift ugh Dx

You've seen so many! What was it you saw in the West End?? I've only ever been to Wicked but it was such an amazing experience since we got to go backstage with a fried of a friend beforehand, safe to say that it was one of the best experiences of my life. Anyways, I could go on forever about musicals! My favorite would have to be Rocky Horror Picture Show... which is kinda awkward when you think about it give the entire plot line is screwed up. Have you ever seen it?

Do it! That would be such a great experience, and then you could start your graphic design career there as well! It would be the best of both worlds. If you did, how log would you want to go for? Like would you make an entire career out of it or just go for a couple of years?

Ugh, that must majorly suck... makes the unemployed life look pretty good! Haha

I've never seen Rocky Horror Picture Show, but I remember it from reading Perks of Being a Wallflower. It was featured on Glee too! I'd love to go to a show and dress up and all that haha xD

Ahhh, I should, shouldn't I?? This is time to travel, before I get locked into a career x) Starting over there would be an absolute dream come true, but I think I need to brush up my language skills first lol. If I did do the JET program, I think I'd want to do for just a year or two, and then come back to the US. I don't know, as much as I love to travel, I don't think I could give up the perks of living in the US, at least not permanently.. Who knows though, maybe I'll go work in some other country and fall in love with it and become an ex-pat haha. Here's that thread btw.

Yeah, that's cuz the unemployed life is pretty good xP xD

Still more then I've seen, unless you count the musicals that my high school puts on, haha. Yes! Oh my god it was such an amazing opportunity! The guy who showed us around was in the ensemble and every time that we passed someone from the show they were like "Hey Cody! Hey Cody's tour!" and we were like "Oh my god, hello, please let us love you." (Safe to say we were a bit starstruck XD) But we got to stand on the stage, which is filled with little tracks for props to be transported on and off with, and the entire thing is slanted to give the stage more dimension, personally I can't imagine dancing on it and most of the women who did wore heels, like I can barely walk in heels on flat ground! Then we got to see some of the dressing rooms. The lead's dressing rooms were the best, like stereotypical with couches and food and mirrors, it was amazing! Sadly we didn't actually get to talk to the leads since they were all getting ready for the show, but we did get to talk to some of the male ensemble, the make up artists, and the tech guys a bit! We also got to go in The Pit and below the stage and stuff to see how everything was run. It was such a great experience, and it totally made the show 100x better!

Rocky Horror basically the best thing ever. The entire plot line is that this newly engaged couple is kidnapped by a transvestite and forced to participate in weird sexual acts and that's it. There is no other story line (well there is, but I don't wanna give it away). This may sound weird but when you watch it, it's actually hilarious! I agree, going to a show dressed as Frank N Furter would be my life's dream! XD

You read Perks of Being a Wallflower? Oh my goodness, what did you think of it? I've seen the movie (which was enough to put me in tears) and I really want to read the book!

Exactly! Even if it were just for a couple of years, the experience of living in another country that's so different would be phenomenal. Personally, I would get too homesick but I wish I could do something like that! And, oh wow! You're pictures are stunning! You have a real talent, you know :)

Think about the money that I don't have, then try and rephrase that statement :p Although, I did spend my entire day laying in bed reading so maybe it isn't that bad! Hehe

Ahahaha! "Oh my god, hello, please let us love you." That's exactly how I would have been xD Man, that sounds like it was amazing. What a way to start of the show!

Oh wow, Rocky Horror sounds very interesting xD There's a movie version isn't there? Should I watch that? And yup I read Perks of Being a Wallflower TWICE because its so good x) It seriously is one of my favorite books. If the movie got to you, prepare for a rollercoaster of emotions from the book. Highly recommended.

Thank you! I had a little Canon Powershot that I took everywhere I went during the entire trip and just tried to document everything. I took over two thousand pictures during that one month, which I know sounds a little excessive haha. I wanted to remember everything. Unfortunately, despite all those pictures, I never took a photo of the bath at the Youth Center D: I don't know why, I just never thought to do it! Dx I can picture it perfectly though. That picture of a bath on my thread is from a hotel we stayed at in Tokyo, which was much smaller. The stools and shower heads looked very similar though.

Haha, that's true, I do get some compensation for miserably long shifts. What no fair spending the entire day reading stop bragging Dx I wanna do thaaaattttt ;_; ...What were you reading? x)
