I've got to be honest, I have no idea how to make these interest checks appealing to y'all! When I signed up to this site I was planning on being one of those pesky lurkers, you know the type, somebody who reads everything posted publicly yet only interacts/roleplays privately. Unfortunately I couldn't find anything that piqued my oddly specific and incredibly fussy desires, so I'm going to shamelessly post this here in the hopes I can attract the perfect roleplaying partners. My bio already lists most of my rules and other information about me, so the rest of this page will be dedicated to the specific fandoms/plots I seek.

Fandom 1: Pokémon (PMD included... Maybe)

I was going to give a quick overview on this series, for those who don't know much about it, but realized everybody knows what this is. A gloried collectathon, except you usually beat the crap out of what you're planning on collecting first. But what if... Pokémon were real? I want to explore how Pokémon battles and other gameplay staples would transpire if it happened today, with online 'woke culture' present. This may sound daft at first, but I want you to seriously consider if forcing creatures to fight in the age of the internet (which has people cancelled for a mean enough joke) would work. It could be interesting, with an avid traditionalist or conservative advocating for fighting, and how it parallels with backwards politics today. Conversely, maybe someone progressive is demanding ridiculous levels of social change with no real effort to do anything themselves other than hate, paralleling with the naïve outta touch state many today adopt.

(Edit: I'm also open to hearing other unconventional ideas, so long as it pertains to the treatment of Pokémon. I enjoy the psychology from both a trainers and Pokémon's perceptive)

Fandom 2: Animal Crossing

You might be noticing a pattern here, I'm particularly fond of finding inspiration from Nintendo games, I almost had this as a Metroid idea, or even Zelda title. Nevertheless, I settled on Animal Crossing as the classic 'power of friendship' trope is something my corny-ass enjoys. So, ever wonder how these villagers cope when the player is away from the island or town they're meant to govern for months? Probably not, as they're not real, but what if... In the leaders absence a power vacuum effectively made the state lawless and ungoverned? Now, the usual idea that comes to mind is everyone commits crime as there's no punishment for wrongdoings, except everyone is friends and there's equality... So I'd like to explore how characters would progress in a world which has everybody on equal standings, but the laws which enforce social norms gradually erode, and how this effects culture and interaction. I'm thinking it'll have a toxic positivity vibe, or maybe slowly become corrupt.

Important notes: If these ideas appealed to you, then please check out my bio on my user-page. It'll list my personal rules and information relevant to roleplaying with me. However, I shall state here that as an adult I'll obviously only roleplay with other adults. Also expect daily replies, unless this gets popular unexpectedly somehow, because I literally have no life to distract me.
