There was a pound on the door of cell B53 in the level 1 habitation area where subject Tyler Finch resided. "Make yourself presentable. We're opening the door." Barked an officer, his loud voice slightly muffled by the metal of the unit door. After about a minute, the door clicked and slid open, revealing two armed security personnel. "Please step out of your unit. We have an assignment for you." Commanded the tallest of the two, waving for the young woman to exit her cell.
As the security officers excused themselves with Miles Gatsworth's orders in mind, Dr.Bill Davron, a professor in biomechanics, stepped in and nodded at Miles before quietly taking his seat. As professor Charles Alexander began his inquiries, It became easy for Miles to see the obvious anticipation the young professor had. It reminded him for a brief moment of himself when he first began his studies with the foundation. However this man was far younger then he was. He knew there was promise in the young man, hence why he was picked for this mission, but there was also patience to be learned. "Oh my, Doctor Alexander. I suggest you observe some self control. You aren't in a position to ask for information. Information will be provided to you on a need to know basis. I hope you understand this. It would be unfortunate to have to remove you from this project." Looking down at his documents and fingering through them, he continued nonchalantly. "Plus, there's not much point in only presenting the information to you when it just means I'll have to do it again once the other personnel have arrived."
As Containment Specialist Sanja's words echoed throughout the department, researchers and security officers took their posts and prepared their stations. Nonlethal force was authorized in the case of a breach, signalling the transfer to stun and tranquillizer based weapons. "Medium containment protocols are in effect!" Confirmed an officer, saluting Sanja and moving to his station. A couple researchers followed Sanja into the observation room, with Dr.Polyester entering shorty after. Several monitoring screens within the room captured every angle as four researchers dawning bio-hazard suits carted specimen 007's containment box into the experiment room on a dolly. The container was moved delicately onto a large multipurpose pad at the center of the room.
A loud mechanical click resounded through recording audio devices as the container was secured into place. "It's locked in." Spoke one of the researchers into a mic within his suit. "Good. Release the sedation agent into the containment." Commanded a researcher standing next to Dr.Polyester in the observation room. Above the container, one of several mechanical arms attached to mechanisms on the ceiling sprung to life and reached down. Fitted with an array of compound canisters, the arm connected with a port on the containers side and began to inject a sleep inducing gas into it. After a few moments, the arm detached and personnel nodded to each other. With the command of Officer Sanja, A scan was performed through the pad the container was sitting on. "Specimen appears to be sedated." Said one researcher to another. A confirmation was given and two more mechanical appendages descended from the ceiling, latching onto opposite sides of the container.
An officer spoke into the department intercom. "Warning. Removing specimen 007 containment." Buzzing noises and mechanical clicking chattered through the room as the container was disassembled and removed. A mist of unsettled sedation vapors dissipated into the air and was sucked out through contaminant vents in the floor. As the vapors clear, the strange alien form of the immobile specimen was relieved. Curled up into a ball, the creature was most comparable to some kind of lizard, though displayed insectiod qualities as well. For several moments, the researchers looked on in awe, half expecting a horrible monstrosity to leap forth. However, upon seeing the specimen subdued, they followed orders to prepare it for tests. "Secure the specimen to the experiment platform and begin procedures." Commanded Dr.Bill Gyles who finally managed his way into the observation room. He had just arrived from sending a pair of officers to grab a test subject for assistance in the procedures involving specimen 007. Raising from the microphone, he looked up at Administrator Polyester. "You must be the professor from Wrangell Island who requested 007's transfer." He polity grabbed the request form from Sanja's hand. "I can already tell you your request is going to be denied. This specimen seem rather important to the guys upstairs so I doubt their letting it out from under their hooks."
