Unless you happen to be discussing a particularly inactive posterior.

Same. I love it when one of my characters manages to get massive amounts of scarring in one of my posts that I didn't originally intend. Makes for some great scars later on in the story.

Hmmm, hey robomonk I got a question. Would you mind if, while Razz was unconscious in the forest, Ashborn found him and decided to feed upon him? It wouldn't even leave a wound or anything, since it'd have just stuck his tongue inside that chest wound of his. Plus it'll give me a way to start off; Ashborn just decided to follow Razz (stealthily) because it's bored and curious.

*finds your character sheet to see what that would entail*

As long as it won't cause either temporary or permanent death, and it doesn't have any other permanent complications, then you can go to town. (Literally, if you're going to follow him, hehehe.)

This is assuming you leave enough blood to allow him to survive what he's already gone through reasonably well. But apart from that, be my bloody guest.

Oh yeah, feeding doesn't really cause any kind of permanent damage. Well, aside from the fact that it usually involves the tongue boring a hole into the person's flesh and everything that comes with that. But Razz already has a wound, so that's not necessary. And you probably won't have to worry about bloodloss at all either, since Ashborn is like two feet tall and incredibly thin; Ogwundi don't require much to keep going.

Also, nice pun. :D

Wherever really. This seems to be fairly open in terms of location.

I'd like to get a sense of some geographical relationships between the locations and the surrounding terrain, so I can work with them in my opening post. I want to start in a location that places the other characters within thirty or forty miles or so. Although my character's race is primarily accustomed to the underdark, I'd like to be in an area with access to caves that link to the surface.

Great posts everyone!

Don't worry about not meeting up with the group right away; I'll round you up eventually, though my means might not be exactly what you wish for.

@Andion Isurand;
I will make a map for the world today (or I'll steal an already made map from someone, without any cities or anything on it and make it mine).

You know how we sometimes things that we just cannot do... yeah, maps is one of my things. I did my best, though.

So... Does anyone else listen to music while they make their characters? Like, have the music sort of help them define their characters? I've been making a few future characters/NPCs depending on how the story goes and I made the mistake of listening to some music that one should just not listen to when making charactesr (like Nickleback, Theory of a Deadman and such)...
So, it occured to me that I might have listened to "Hard like Heroic" on YouRepeat when I was making the CS for Elias... In case you were wondering what the f**k was going on in my mind.
And nowm one of the characters I made, I was listening to "Get Jinxed" (Funny thing about that, I don't even like League of Legends, I just like the characters and Jinx is just so damn, well, awesome). If you haven't heard it, go do that. (If you don't like it, don't listen to any of the music I tell you to listen to.) Then, after hearing that crazy little bit, I obviously decided to listen to "Get up"... Needless to say, this character turned out a bit... crazy...

@Big Sister, I'm a massive fan of swing and jazz but I can't listen to anything while I write, I find it very distracting, especially singing, instrumentals aren't too bad

Honestly, I have to listen to something, perferably very loudly, to be able to write. I can't concentrate when I can hear the dogs scuffing about with their claws on my wooden floor and whimpering pathetically because mommy is in the office. Really, the kids are less dependant on me than the dogs. And I have a guinea pig who starts "dweeb"ing very loudly whenever I make noise outside of the living room.

*sigh*

I love having pets ^_^'
