Anime Dating Town

Maybe a self contained RP inside of a town where you get to date, but also going to work, make money, design your apartment and stuff like that too.
Granted If I were to start this I would NEED a Co GM or 2, because its a rather large world to build.

Sounds great, maybe you can help me build a town? with normal things like a school, hospital, resturant etc, all the places we would need so our players have somewhere to work, and also somewhere to be taken out on dates. Sound okay?

I'd totally be up for helping, I'm pretty active, and love world-building. I totally want a character that owns a small diner, with her nephew(Who'd probably be one of my main characters) and perhaps a few others working there if they so wish. :3

Lets call it Shine City for now, I'll just go ahead and make you 2 my offical Co-GMs I'll put you bot in charge of world building while I focus on game mechanics if thats ok?

Also I'd like to maybe move this RP to casual, because of the nature of a dating RP with a lot of characters.

We'll see how it goes, I suppose. Depends on the quality of the posts in the IC if I'll stay when it's in Casual. You do what you want to do, though.

I'll start working on Shine City. I've got a few hours to give it some thought, unless another RP requires my attention for a short period of time.

Alright, so I actually haven't gotten a whole lot done, because A: Don't Starve eats my life, and B: I've been surfing around for some floor plans for the locations in my head. I wanted your opinion on this one for the diner. I think it'd work.

I'm terrible with names by the way, so most of the names for the locations like the school or hospital you guys should probably do. I'd probably go with the first simple thing that popped into my head... ^^;

I've actually been looking for something that'd work, but I've had no luck. I'm not much of a mapper, myself. As much as I'd love to be.

Closest I've came to finding something that'd work is this, and it's ugly. Like...

if we cant have a map thats fine, as long as people know whats in the city and where it is roughly we can go from there. Maybe you could think of some of the jobs and NPCs that are in this town Owlish?

Alright, jobs can be: Assistant Librarian, Kindergarten Caretaker, Lifeguard, Grocery Store Cashier, Waiter, Artist's Model, Construction Worker, Diner Cook and maybe Store Salesperson.

Owlish, why dont you start creating NPCs to be the 'bosses' or owners of those jobs? just brief little CS will do for each one

I think my character will own a small floral studio in town, and she'll be a peaceful person, hehe.

Shine City seems like it'll be pretty large, so I'm assuming it has a pretty decent population, yes?

I'd love to take a part as librarian/assistant librarian! I don't have the tools on me to create anything though.

Yes Shine city is huge with a decent population size.

Bell and Nyaon your ideas are both great, but we will draw up player characters when the OOC is up, I just want to try and get the city built nice and solid for foundation :)
