hmmm ... wondering if Grimlock could just pick Ivy up and throw her at the chest, with the collar on, to open it. That way he doesn't have to waste time killing her ...

i dont think it works that way

people have to die...there is no safe way to open the collar...do that and she dies anyway as cheating will cause the failsafe..same goes for Grimlock..oh and those who refuse to kill are as good as dead..I think..

That is the one thing I don't get. People don't want their characters to die and we may have a big case of god-modding, so I just want to know about how the fighting will work.

I believe those with target cards will seek them out in a so called deathmatch. Not sure but I think I have a general idea..

I'm fine with my characters dying, although I'd like to avoid it if possible. If they do die, it had better be epic ...

Throwing her against the chest at a speed that would kill her might work then?

I see, but I'm not sure if Ivy even has a chance against Grimlock.

yeah, the collars are probably too small for him to hold himself, keeping his victims carcass's would be easier.

This is why I will be using the dice system. It will stop me from godmodding and be more wary of my character's condition.

The dice system sounds nice, I think I will follow that.

What's this "dice system"?

Its a battle system that determines the outcome of an incoming attack. From ranges 1 to 6 where 1 means that the attack misses and is countered with a set of attacks and 6 means that it was a critical strike dealt to the victim. Anything in between would be the lighter versions of the extremes.

And of course, for this system to work one must legitimately roll a dice.

ahhh. Okay, that seems fair, how does it work?

For example:

Person A attempts to slash person B.

Person B must then roll a dice to determine the outcome of person A's slash.

If the dice lands at 1, then B will dodge the attack and counter his slash with an attack.

If the dice lands at 6, then person B is struck by the slash critically, causing an open wound that continuously bled.

I was wondering if Ivy's poison could damage him, if I rolled a 6 would it effect him?

Mntp would technically be forced to have Grimlock being critically striken.

You can also set parameters for deadly attacks or stuns.

For e.g

Person A attempts to stun person B (with any means possible, must roll a 4 or higher to dodge stun or roll 2 dice and achieve an 8 or higher to dodge)

Probably, not, he's made of metal. Also, he has an over shield. However, something corrosive like acid might work ...

The problem with this system is that it does not take into effect the characteristics of either character. For example, I'm pretty sure Ivy has some sort of healing method.

Could fight with brain instead of brawn. Rocks could hurt.

Don't be deterred. A person might help you out.
