I'm excited about our first gig. >:D Since it'll be our first one, I'd like to do a test run of role-playing it, if that's okay? Just one post each about how they're playing, what they're feeling, things they see and do. It'll be a nice way to express our characters, and then we can decide if we want to make a habit it of it or not.

I am not in the least offended by the reference to my tabletop rping. After all my character's tend to be similar and I make crappy decisions.

Also, what is this Arcane Family?

It's based off of an anime, but the anime made a lot of mistakes I won't make. >:D

It's about tarot cards. The basics that you need to know right now is that we will be a family (probably a 'mafia' type, as in extended family are just as close, honorary family is also family, etc, but that doesn't necessarily mean we'll be like a mafia). This family is almost like a... paramilitary group for hire? I'll have you or Josh give me a better word for it if paramilitary is inaccurate. Anyway, some members of the family have bonded with the spirits of the twenty-two Major Arcana cards from the spirit deck, each with their own minor ability that I am linking to the main teachings and my interpretations of the cards. Lee Lee and I are working out the abilities now, we a nearly finished.

When you read tarot cards, two cards being near each other can change their meanings, so each card will have a person's power that makes theirs react differently. I haven't decided if I'm giving everyone multiple power interactions that CHANGE their powers, or if I'm just giving everyone a negative and a positive. Probably the second one.

Now, the unique part! :D As a tarot reader myself, I will actually be doing tarot card readings to guide this game. ^-^ I will have my wonderful co-GM, Lee Lee, interpret them with me. They will play a large part in the game for as many reasons as I can muster. I do hope you'll join us. ^-^
