Jack smiled when she offered to sing for him sometime later as she watched her and frowned when he heard the story about how it happened. "Man I feel sorry for you and the little girl that lost her parents in that crash it must have been rough on you both especially the 3 year old she did not get a chance to get to know her parents fully." He said as she finished eating and looked at her. "Hey if you like I can show you some character designs I have on my computer." He offered Eva to help change the subject.

"It's okay I barely remember and I'm alive so that Is good the little girl texts me all the time about school and friends were like buddies" Eva smiled at him. She finished her apple and nodded "yea that would be fun to look at" she smiled happy

"Well that is good I am glad she is still having a good life." Jack said with a smile as he stretched a little letting her eat the rest of her food. "I can;t wait for you to see my design I have for my characters." He said with a smile as he saw some of the girls glaring at Eva and he only rolled his eyes at them as he focused his attention on Eva just glad to spend time with her again.

Eva smiled finished and saw girls starring at him and chuckled "wow I think every girl in the room is starring" she looked at him admiring his looks "I bet there amazing your designs I'm ready when you are"

Jack groaned about the other girls. "All they want is either a night in bed with me or just the title of being popular." He said and smiled at her. "We can go now." He said as he got up and lead to his dorm area where a bunch of guys were lounging around looking at their text books. His room was room 502 and when they walked in his room was cleaned but filled with sketches on the walls and his computer had a design that was not done on it yet.

"That isn't nice to take advantage of you like that" Eva said softly. She stood and hooked her arm through his and followed out to his dorm. She walked in and smiled seeing his room of sketches and designs. Walked over and notice his comp of his unfinished design. "What this going to be?"

"Hey unfortunately that is life." He said to her as she walked over to his computer. "Oh that is just a work in progress character for a school project I am working on." He said to her as he noticed his folder and quickly grabbed it and put it in his desk drawer not wanting Eva to see it for it was pics of them as kids and he liked to use her pick to help come up with characters and he used her a lot as a main character.

"Awesome it very cool" Eva said smiled she saw him put a folder away and went to the drawer "what are you hiding Jackie?" She went to open the drawer smiling.

Jack freaked and closed it without smashing her fingers. "Just some drawing reference I use so I want to wait until everything in this project is done before I show anyone where I got my reference from." He explained to her for he also did not want her to see all the pics he had kept since they were little kids and some of her when she was older that her sister sent him for he had asked Eva's sister for he some hoe lost contact with Eva and now he knew why. "So don't worry I promise once its done I will show you my reference." He said hoping she would buy that.

Eva jumped when he slammed the drawer and raised an eyebrow seeing he was lying. "Your lying please show me" she asked looking at him standing in front of it. "I thought we were friends best friends but you won't let me see" she turned upset and hurt and walked out. She headed back to her dorm and layed on her bed head first and cried thinking he say were friends but wouldn't a show me I'm so confused. She grabbed her diary and opened to the envelope and opened that gasp seeing the picture.

Jack felt like an idiot for not telling her but he did not want her to think he was a stalkier if she saw all the pictures of her young and growing up before she came back. ""Damn I just did not want her to think I was a creep following her around." He said as he opened the drawer and pulled out the folder flipping through the pictures of her young self with him being silly and goofy to the older versions of her with little notes from her sister about how her personality changed so he could do her her character perfect to almost identical to Eva. "Man I am the worst friend anyone can ask for." He said as he placed the folder back down on his desk letting out a deep long sigh.

Eva grabbed the envelope and ran out of her dorm. She ran back to his and it took her a while to find his then walked in. Headed down the hallway she found his room and walked in held it up "so I'm the girl? You were talkig about me? Why didn't you tell me and don't use the my memories are gone excuse I'm sick of people tip towing around me. How do you feel about me jack?" Tears fell confused and frustrated.

Jack was working on his project and finally got the characters hair the right shade or red that matched Eva's hair and jumped when she walked in all of a sudden and looked at her not giving him time to move the pictures of her. "Eva calm down just listen to me we were kids back then and well we kind of made a promise." He said as he pulled out an envelope that was identical to the one he had given her. "We both gave each other one and swore not to open then until your turned 21 so yes the girl I was talking about was you Eva and you have to understand how can you tell the girl you have had strong feeling for, for years that you are in love with them after just seeing them again and have no memories I was afraid if I told you that I had feelings for you that I would lose you because you would think I was well weird and stalker." Jack explained to her.

Eva stood there listening and walked forward stood in front of him. She looked in his eyes and threw her arms around him kissed him. "I'm sorry jack I should of known that you wouldn't say anything, I love the pictures you did, I like you I have this feeling that I like you more and have known you forever I wish I could remember you truly but I like the man in front of me" she stroked his face looking at him "what was the promise?" She kissed him smiled.

Jack was shocked when he all of a sudden threw her arms around him and kissed his lips, he was also blushing dark red. "Its ok Eva I understand you needed to know and hate how people are holding back on you because of you losing your memory." He said as he hugged her. "One day you will get your memory back I know it but it will take time you can't rush hey maybe when we get a break from school I will drive you back to where you used to live maybe it will spark some memories." Jack offered hoping it will help in the future. "The promise was when we exchanged these envelopes that we would open them on your 21st birthday if you came back or still far apart."

Eva smiled at him "you call me Eva I like it Jackie" she put her head on his shoulder and listened to his voice speaking to her. "I hate not knowing, all I see is darkness when I try to remember Jackie I don't like it" she looked in his eyes smiled "I would love that when is our school break?" She blushed stroke his cheek "oops guess we opened them early sorry"

Jack smiled at her as he hugged her when she placed her head on his shoulder. "Everything will be clear one day don't worry I am sure seeing nothing but darkness is not easy but I know you will get through this and I will be with you every step of the way." He said to her and laughed a little. "You opened it early I have not opened yours yet but don't worry I am actually glad you opened mine early now." He said with a smile and kissed her cheek. "I really missed your Eva."

"You will be with me every step? Truly?" Eva looked at him smiled she grabbed his and handed it to him. "Well open yours let's see" she smiled blushed as he kissed her cheek. "I miss you to Jackie at least it what I feel" she kissed him softly.

"Of course I will be there every step of the way Eva just like when we were kids and how I stuck to you like glue...actually we were stuck together for a week because of super glue." Jack said laughing at the memory of it happen. "Man our parents were mad at us for that happening." He said with a smile and looked at the envelope and kissed her back. "Well lets see what you left in here." He said as she slowly opened it and pulled out what was in it.

"Stuck for a week wow must of used a lot of glue" Eva laughed. She smiled and opened it pulled out a picture of them at their wedding. She blushed and showed him "um look like we want to get married" she blushes bright red and hands it to him. "Um I guess our younger selves dreamed of marriage?" She giggled.
