[IC] Collision Point: Steam, Magic and Blood

Jarmin was sitting on a wooden stool in a white room, a lady in a dress came to the room and told her "You have not died, but your soul has left your body, you may be ressurected through very strong magic, you may pass on this message to one person, and through any medium" Jarmin softly replied "His royal highness Voltus Ventus. through the medium of the sapphire on the necklace."

Rhodri had stayed in a tavern for the few days and decided to go out for a walk, he saw two people being carried to the hospital, one of them Voltus, ;looking severly dehydrated and the other Jarmin, dead. He have a wink to Voltus before turning in the opposite direction and going to get some food.

Meanwhile, Rhory had returned to Steamland to govern over it and keep order,Criminal after criminal was brought before him, he ruled his country with an iron fist, any crime had the same punishment, death by steam burns.

[Voltus_Ventus]

Voltus woke up to the sound of a whirring fan, it's blades slicing the warm air into cool slices and sending them down to him, he felt a hand clasped in his and he mumbled "Jarmin?" the hand squeezed his a bit causing him to look up. He was looking into the eyes of an auburn haired girl, her brown eyes looking do into his like deep reflecting pools. She held up a note: 'good morning your highness, my name is Silence. I'm sorry I can't talk to you, I'm a mute.'
Voltus looked up at her from the note and watched her turn her face away.
"how long have I been unconscious?" he asked making her look his way, she put up 4 fingers. "four hours?" he questioned, envoking a shake of the head "days?" he asked shockedly, she nodded her head gently. 
"and Jarmin?", she picked up another piece of paper and wrote something down, handing the slip back to Voltus. 'I'm sorry' the note read and that's all he needed to know he slumped back down on the bed and clutched the necklace that was still in his hand, he turned away from Silence and let tears roll down his face.

The large man turned away from her and she heard him cry softly, she layed her small hand down on his shoulder and gave it a squeeze, he turned to look at her, his eyes bloodshot from 3 days of crying on the zeppelin. She handed him a note and smiled sympathetically, he started to sob out loud now and Scilense felt him thow his arms around her, and she hugged him back, because she knew what it felt like to be broken

[Totts]

The necklace emitted small whispers, almost unhearable "volt... us", it cracked straight down the middle and to the side, forming a J shape. Slightly louder than a whisper now, the last song Jarmin sang was being whispered from the necklace.

Rhory lazily presided over his court however, today was different, today, someone different had been brought in front of him, a thirteen year old girl, with the crime of stealing food. He saw her tears welling up and her trying to explain that she was an orphan. Rhory made a conflicted expression, and for the first time in his entire reign, he didn't sentence her to the steam. He simply said, rage boiling inside of him "Leave. Go to the nearest orphanage. If you cause trouble again I won't be so kind" The girl bowed before him before running off, the rest of the courtroom stared at him in surprise "Do you want to be sent to the steam, the rest of you?" He roared at them, and they all averted their gaze.

[Voltus_Ventus]

Slilence held on to the large man and let him sob into her shoulder, a single tear escaping her eye.
'how can a man so big cry so much' she thought to herself sadly a single tear of compassion flowing down her cheek as the giant cried into her small frame. she held him tighter, feeling his warm body and unsteady breathing, 'so strong' she thought to herself.

Voltus was so stricken with greif he started to hear Jarmin sing, her sweet voice echoing in his mind, he looked up to Silence and saw Jarmin, he leaned closer to her and looked into Jarmin's black eyes and planted a gentle kiss on her lips.

[Totts]

Rhory's rage had become uncontrollable, he walked down the street with an angry expression on his face, everyone knew to stay out of his way, he could see a woman being harrassed by a man, without thinking he took out his steam heated sword and pressed it against the mans face, leaving it there for a few seconds before taking it back off and walking along.

Jarmin sat in the white room, seeing Voltus through the crystal "That *****!" She thought to herself "Voltus is mine!" Jarmin reached up to her face and discovered that one of her eyes was missing, a lady in the room calmly explained that the communication came with a price, but this would only happen once.

Rhodri slowly walked through the hospital, he had stolen some of a generals clothes, he walked into the room where Voltus and Silence were. "I'm sorry young lady, but we do not allow romantic relations on these premises." He said to her, running a hand through his ginger hair "I'm going to ask you to leave" she requested, he also slipped a sly smile to Voltus, he knew exactly who he was, he didn't have a mask on when he winked at him, and he didn't have the mask on now, he knows I killed Jarmin. This is going to be fun.

[Voltus_Ventus]

Silence sat on the bed by Voltus' side, her hands on his waist, her lips on his, letting the handsome patient kiss her sensually. It was the first time she ever had kiss and it ignited her mind in a wash of passion and excitement, she felt the prince pull his lips away and hold her tight.
"I love you Jarmin" he whispered into her ear, his eyes closed in calmness. She lay there awkwardly in his arms, she gave a tap on his shoulder and he openned his eyes. He went white in horror and imbaressment and turned away, she put her hands softly on his face and turned it towards her and gave him a shy smile. She put her lips back onto his and closed her eyes, letting her growing love for the strong, white haired man flourish.

[Voltus_Ventus]

Voltus was shocked when he felt her lips come back to his own but he settled down to it, and he was even more shocked when a military officer order her leave. He saw him, standing there, smiling. 'how dare he' he barked in his own mind.
"You!" he roared "I'm glomming to kill you!".
Voltus grabbed hold of one of the butterfly screws on his brace and yanked it out, exposing the 4 inch, spiked metal rod that was imbedded in his leg. He launched himself off the bed despite the firey pain of ripping out a bone support, he took a missive swing of his arm at the red haired b*******, the bloody spike hurtling through the air towards the assassins neck.

[Totts]

Rhodri dispersed into a cloud of smoke, and re appeared at the other end of the room "Oh, you'll have to try harder than that" He said, before puffing into another cloud of gingerish smoke, he re-appeared as Jarmin, taunting him "You couldn't save me, you couldn't save me" it cried in a sing-song voice, he puffed back into a gingerish cloud and re appeared, grabbing hold of silence, knife to her throat, he put on Jarmin's face "Why did you so readily abandon me for this girl, I thought you loved me" She cried, taunting him, he put back on his face and let his white teeth open in a wild smile "You really want to kill me? I'll kill this girl, and you'll be starting a war against Steamland" He said, calmly, while holding a knife against Silence's neck, he whispered "shhhh" into her ear.

[Voltus_Ventus]

Voltus dropped the pin and slumped onto the ground, his back to his bed.
"what's the f****** point!" he yelled into the air "you've taken everything from me, my life, my country, Jarmin! Just end me!" Voltus yanked another pin out of his lag and tossed it to the ginger assassin, and looked him in the eyes. "no man can hate as much as you" he said sternly, defiantly at the red headedd devil. "so go on, make my day."

[Totts]

The crystal started emitting whispers and tunes, slowly forming into coherent sentences.

Rhodri dropped Silence and told Voltus "What? Didn't try and save her? I'm offended." He made a wide cat-like smile and said "That's no ordinary necklace you have there. Someone's calling you" He dispersed into clear smoke and made a beeline straight out the window, on a path to Steamland.

Rhory was back on his throne, nobody in the court had dared to question him or his actions. The last criminal of the day was brought in, he examined them, they had handcuffs on, charged with murder. He roared the words 'guilty' and 'Death by steam' into his ears, deafening him. He sat back on his throne and smiled as his work was done.

[Voltus_Ventus]

Voltus watched as the assassin disappeared, leaving Silence standing there, shivering from fright. He walked up to her and held her in her arms to calm her down. He pulled her down to the floor where they leaned their backs onto a wall. She fell asleep like a brick.
Voltus picked the necklace out of his pocket and looked at, at the diamonds the stringed together to hold the sapphire, the cracked sapphire. He held it to his lips and whispered:
"Jarmin?"

[Totts]

Jarmin had control of the necklace, the first thing she did was send a small shock to Voltus' lips. Then, through the crystal she whispered "You B******* I've been gon for what? 4 days and you're already with another girl?!" the next thing she whispered was "The necklace you gave me was no ordinary necklace, it holds the soul of the person who wears it when they die, there's a way to get me back, you have to kill the person who killed me, but you're not going to like this. When I come back I'm not going to be like I was, just to communicate through this crystal I had to give up one of my eyes, this means that when I come back I will not have that eye" She whispered. "Be fast, Voltus."

[Voltus_Ventus]

"hey, I was weak and hallucinating!" he whispered into the sapphire, "it's what you get for crying your eyes out for 3 days and not getting a drink when you finish" he hissed indignantly into the cracked gem. He got up off the ground and gently laid Silence's head down on the carpeted floor. 'just need to find my things' he thought to himself as he started to move, his knee flaming. 'and a knee brace'. He stepped outside of the ward into a long hallway, sandstone walls with large green stained glass windows at every 3 meters or so, the green carpet felt soft under his feet as he limped along it. "let's see what this empire has to offer" he told himself.

[Totts]

"Voltus, will you still love me when I'm no longer beautiful?" Jarmin asked through the gem, clutching at where her eye had been.

Rhodri had reached Steamland and appeared in front of his brother. He gave his signature cat like smile and said "Her soul was trapped sucessfully."

Rhory chuckled to himself, this was going to be so fun, he roared at everyone else in the room to leave and started discussing things with his brother.

[Voltus_Ventus]

"you'll always be beautiful" he said "eye or not I will always choose you".

Silence woke up on the floor of the ward, the soft carpet cushioning her face, she gave a small noiseless yawn and looked around eyes half lidded, 'where's Voltus?' she thought to herself staring blankly at the ceiling. Slowly she realized he was gone and started to panic, 'I lost a patient!' she was screaming in her head frantically looking around, she saw that the door was slightly creeked open and she bolted through.

[Totts]

"Voltus, listen, you need to kill the person who killed me, it's the only way to get me back" She said through the navy sapphire "His name is Rhodri Fren, kill him." she whispered through the gem, before beginning to sing the last song she ever sung again.

[Voltus_Ventus]

Cultus continued to walk down the hallway, acknowledging Jarmin's words. The carpet muffled his steps as he took a turn to the left, following a sign saying 'patient item reclamation' he stopped at a wooden counter where are a dark-skinned man sat filling in a log.
"ah, hello patient 12," he said with a broad smile "what may I do for you?"

Silence rushed hurriedly through the hallways looking left and right down adjacent ones until she found Voltus by a counter, taking a bag from the man behind it and exchanging pleasantries. She bolted down the corridor, her feet making no noise as they impacted the carpet. She ran into Voltus and sent him tumbling to the floor, she pinned him to the floor, using her full weight on his knees and elbows, immobilizing him. She pulled a small metal syrette from her hair where three more where, holding her hair in a bun and jabbed it into his neck, putting him to sleep before he could say a word.

[Totts]

Rhory ran a hand through his large ruffle of ginger hair, allowing the strands to move inbetween his fingers. He gave a low rumble from his throat..

Jarmin sat in the white room, letting the whiteness fill her vision, Voltus had dropped the necklace and she was standing there, whispering "Silence, you b*****, you stole my man"

[Voltus_Ventus]

Voltus woke up feeling groggy and light headed, his mouth dry. He looked around, he was in the room
He woke up in when he first woke up, except the sun was setting behind the green glass windows. His bag was thrown into a corner. He tried to get up from the bed but found himself unable to. He looked down and saw the metal restraints.

[Totts]

Jarmin saw Silence, holding up and examining the necklace, the necklace began to whisper "Let me speak to Voltus" over and over, before, after about a minute it gave off a small shock to her fingers, and the necklace fell to the ground.
