I don't think I've ever seen anything about physical violence being associated with Muggles. Physical violence is frowned on in the wizarding world for the same reasons as in ours. Don't forget George and Harry's fight after the Quidditch match. In fact quidditch itself involves a lot of physical violence. Malfoy himself keeps Crabbe and Goyle around, and there's no way they're there for anything other than muscle. Wizards or not, people are gonna hit other people when they get mad.

The fact that wizards use magic for pretty much everything, there is no real point to use physical violence since magic spells do a lot more damage and are more effective.

It's not about opinion, it's about how it is in the Harry Potter universe. In the Harry Potter universe, physical violence does happen magical or no. There is no evidence that they relate physical violence to muggles, so please don't act like it is cannon based on opinion. If you have hard evidence of it being mentioned by J.K. Rowling in the books or otherwise, then it will be considered cannon.
