Kjolmar groaned displeased at Nobody. Well, mostly because she had a point. "Dawnmist is going to have my head for pulling the wildcard on this." he admitted. Unlike his partner, Kjolmar walked in a line straight forward rather than making circles, almost as if he knew where the foe was hiding. He sighed deeply and stopped Nobody when she passed him again, causing a jolt to slightly shock him. It didn't hurt but it was far from comfortable. Without commenting on it, he shared his plan with her. "We go scout the area. If we come across Cyborgs, we take them out. We can justify it by saying it was self-defense. One of them did attack our plane, after all." Kjolmar was a bit worried about his hypnotizing skill, would it even work on a Cyborg? "Excellent idea, let's scout." Nubius said, clearly having overheard that part of the conversation. Kjolmar felt agitated that he wanted to come and quickly thought of something. "Alright. We should split up. Nobody and I will go south, the rest of you should go north." Luckily, they agreed.

Nobody jerked back from Kjolmar's touch, knowing she was still rather potent. She nodded in response to the plan, and as they walked, Nobody made a verbal response to Kjolmar's first comment. "Dawmist is just going to have to deal with it. We didn't plan to be shot down out of the sky," she said flatly, padding along with an eerie silence. She was good at keeping quiet, and had used it to her advantage multiple times. "Which way is that cyborg with the laser? The thunder was.... disorienting..." she asked, seeming to become agitated at the mention of thunder. She shrugged it off, having more pressing matters. Such as potential cyborg attacks, and the fact that she had to make sure not to trip. Tripping was never good. It was distracting and often a shock to the system.

Kjolmar did notice Nobody's awkwardness when she talked about the thunder. He pinched his eyes a little while maintaining eye contact to reveal that he noticed the moment, yet decided to not ask about it. Later.

He smiled when she asked about the Cyborg. "It was coming from the south of us, which is exactly why I sent Nubius and his henchmen north."

Kjolmar swept away some of the forestry that was in the way. Suddenly he stopped. "I think we found something."

Nobody sighed softly, knowing she'd have to explain her semi-misophonic nature. She then paused when Kjolmar stopped. She wasn't sure whether it was a good or bad thing, and she couldn't exactly see through Kjolmar. "What is it?" she asked, moving forwards, tense and ready to let loose with a wide-spread electric 'net'. The 'net' was a rough grid-like strike. It send a wide, flat plane of electricity at attackers, and dissipated quickly.

Kjolmar moved out of the way so that Nobody could see the view. "Cyborgs, a lot of them." They seemed to be patrolling the area as if they were in an upcoming war. Kjolmar frowned. "Something's wrong. Why can't they detect our presence?" he wondered out loud. Cyborgs were known for their build-in Carrier-detectors.

Suddenly some sort of beam hit them from the back. There was their answer. They did detect them, they just hadn't shown it. So much for being mindless.

Kjolmar saw everything become dark before his eyes.

When he woke up, he found himself in a cage in a building, surrounded by scientists. He realized he had been captured like so many Friskians (and probably Midizians too) had been before him. He remembered the rumors about the experiments and started to panic. When he grabbed the bars of the cage, he felt an immense pain in his hands so he quickly let go. "Don't try anything funny." one of the scientists said. "Those cages are well prepared for the likes of you."

Where was Nobody? Had they captured her too?

Nobody had been captured as well, but it was clear by the fact she was still unconscious in the neighboring cage that she had put up more of a fight. She wasn't dead, it was evident by the movement of her chest. She had been tossed in, and was crumpled in on her side. For the first time since Kjolmar had met her, Nobody didn't look like the powerful carrier that had walked a half-step behind Kjolmar throughout the rise of the Freedom Fighters. Her eyes were closed, and though she didn't smile even in rest, her features had relaxed to a frighteningly placid look.

Her breathing was unsteady and clearly labored, and she was dead to the world, at this point. Once every few minutes, the carrier would be hit with some kind of internal pain, as she flinched and sparks flew, along with her breath temporarily shortening. Whatever she'd done, the Cyborgs had done in turn.
