Tiny gnome vs. big man, obviously the tiny gnome wins XD. I'll post a response later, I'm on my tablet right now.

I was very surprised with the roll but hey you had D6 unarmed and he had D6+1 so the odds weren't to bad.

Turns out I did have time.
Bam was surprised at his victory against the burly man in the arm wrestling competition and exclaimed loudly,"I knew I could do it!" as the big man's arm hit the table. After receiving his money from his competitor, the gnome reached into his pocket and pulled out three more coins, that made eight in all! After thinking about what he was going to spend this wealth of money on, he decided to use it for a good cause and try to come up with a solution for the problem of the well that caved in. He drew his water from there, too, and knew what had happen having been there personally, he recalls the scene from his mind, ____. He then heads out of the tavern and towards the shop next door. As, soon as bam comes to the building, he realizes it was locked, and that it was night time, he then hits himself on the forehead and muttered, "I am so stupid!" his mutter turning into a yell as he finishes. He then enters the tavern again, and walks up to the bar tender and says, this time not as joyfully, "I need a room, name your price." As he finish his request, he relies how well the bar keeper was at multi-tasking, taking care of several patrons at once.(Not buying a room until next turn.)

After being indignantly chucked out of the inn, Dax roamed the streets of Thoria blindly with no clear direction. soon he found himself walking down the port he arrived at, the cobblestone pier damp with condensation. Daxius walked forwards holding himself to try and keep warm against the biting cold, he found himself standing in front of the moored St. Christopher. He walked up the gang plank and onto the deck, "Hello!?" he rasped loudly straining his throat. No reply. He stepped down into the hold where he spent months at sea traversing the oceans with his strange and foreign fellow passengers. The hammocks which were strung up to accommodate them were still there, he slipped himself into the one he occupied during his time aboard after shucking off his armor and proceeded  rested his head on the pillow and shut his eyes. He allowed himself to breathe normally, wheezing with each breath, ragged exhalations and felt himself let go of consciousness and fall into the twilight realm of sleep.
In his dreamscape:

The waves of the Cartisian Sea lightly bobbed the H.M.S. Jagged Line as she was moored in the Antium docks. She was a decommissioned frigate from the First Fleet, cannons removed and replaced with harpoon guns for whaling, her mortars replaced with night time flares. She was the perfect fishing vessel. Daxius boarded her, dresses in navy blue shorts and a white shirt.
"Guten morgen kapitan Soroff" Dax said in Nordic, a hint of Antian accent in his speech breaking through his raspy throat.
"good morning Daxius," he replied plainly in an equally raspy voice "I see you've been brushing up on your Nordic."
"of course sir", Daxius walked away from the the white bearded captian towards the hold to deposit his bag before they set off but before he got to the door the captian called out, "Daxius, you will be on glasshook duty for the entirety of the trip."
"Yes Kapitan"
Weeks have passed on board the jagged and the raspy voices of the crew filled the holds and decks with throaty, grinding voices. They all had Cartisian Lung, a disease caused by the green mist found at the center of the Cartisian sea, it deteriorated lungs and throats, making fishing off Antium a short lived profession.
"Daxius!" a raspy bark echoed through the decks, startilling him off his hammock "night duty! Glasshook! Now!" the Kapitan ordered. Daxius pulled himself off the floor and trudged off towards the upper deck where he was to do the late night fishing. The sun was starting to set as he got to the deck and the Kapitan was at the keel, staring out into the open water, the red light of the setting sun shimmering across it's smooth rippleless surface. Daxius approached him "Ya Kapitan?" the Kapitan didn't reply, instead he shoved something smooth and heavy into Dax's hand and walked off into the lower decks, leaving him alone on the keel. 'The Glasshook' he thought to himself looking at it, it was designed to be perfectly invisible in water, so that large fish and dolphins swam into it. He started to swing the hook above his head and released it, sending it hurtling through the air, into the sea, causing ripples in the still water. And he waited.
The sun was bellow the ocean now and the sky was black, peppered with stars. Daxius was falling asleep his eyes half lidded, his back slouched as he held on to the metal cable attached to the Glasshook. He was suddenly startled when he felt the line go taught in his grip, almost sending him off balance. He started to pull back with all his might but it was no use, what ever was caught by the hook, it was not going to get pulled out easily. Literal hours have passed since the line went taught and Dax was getting tired, his shoulders ached, his back ached, his everything ached but he was determined to catch this thing. It stopped fighting, all at once the taught just stopped but he could still feel the weight of something on the line and he started to pull, elation in his face his deep breaths making him wheeze in excitement. With one massive haul the creature came onto the deck and Daxius collapsed, huffing and panting from exertion. He collected himself and dragged himself towards the catch, until he noticed it was not an earthly sea creature. It had a slender body smooth and reflective, colored a tone of pale green, a tail that ended just like a fishes, the hook was lodged there, but most strikingly it had the upper of a person, with round,  lush hips and curvaceous body, it's face -that of a woman's- was soft and rounded, full lipped and the same pale green as the rest of it's body. This was a mermaid, not some mythical creature but a real thing. Daxius was about to alert the Kapitan when he felt something grip his hand softly, he turned behind him to see the creature holding his wrist in slender webbed fingers"

End of part 1
