Yup. As for if it'll be over several days or not, I see pros and cons for both options.

Multiple days

Pros:
- We get to flesh this out a little longer
- Extra time to get the existing characters familiar with one another
- Vastly higher odds of getting the current cast to become more familiar with Gero
- As per the above, alliances and rivalries can easily be formed this way

Cons:
- Takes longer to get to the next arc
- ...that's all I've got so far

One day

Pros:
- Get it all done right quick
- Less filler

Cons:
- Less time for characters to get to know each other. Since they'll all be kinda important (since, with one exception, they all have spirit partners) this is a big one.
- A rushed pace is an unhappy one.
- The length of the first arc typically sets the standard for later arc lengths, and I'd like this RP to last a while.
- Since I'm not always online, this could be much tougher once we get to my duels.

...I guess we're doing it over multiple days. Time to BS-install some bedrooms for our competitors down below. Roomies will be randomized (cuz familiarity & all) just like the tournament bracket, unless I see an obvious opportunity for really interesting setups. I already know of one.

Alright cool. One more thing I was a bit stumped on, is the tournament open to watchers? I didn't notice a crowd in the posts, either I missed it or left out. I'd assume so, and that the participants watching have their own participant viewing area or are on the sidelines. Just gotta figure this out so I can work my opening post accordingly.

Yes, just that only participants are allowed to participate (quite obviously).

In other news, it's too late for Raineh to object because I've already figured out who is rooming with whom. I wish I'd have realized earlier in that we have an exact even 50/50 ratio of males & females, buuuuuuuuuuuut oh well. Moving people around now would be a big hassle.

And sometimes comfort and familiarity will win out over convenience. :p

Seems like a good idea to me, I was wondering how else the characters would be interacting aside from dueling.

Still against it. Why not have separate rooms? People will still need to eat and stuff.

Sharing rooms like this just seems awkward. There's the whole gender mismatch thing.

I'm all for it. The more characters can interact with each other the better. Though why would Ian be staying there if he's out of the tournament?

Personally, It would probably make more sense if there was an accommodation for male and female duelists that isn't necessarily mandatory. Besides, it shouldn't be the only opportunity everyone has to interact with each other.

I like the idea...but wouldn't it be easier to pair guys with guys and girls with girls? Less awkward that way right?

Ian would be pretty chill with it actually. He's happy so long as he's not with Cybell. Those two in a confined space is how "accidents" happen.
