We never actually went into the archipelago, I was waiting for Cifer and Epiphany to get on before we attacked....sooo....

well...oh yeah ships take a lot of time to sink because of the fire

But not a lot of time to stop because their sails burnt to a crisp along with the wooden mast which presumably fell and crushed the middle half of the ship, letting a bunch of water in and weighing the ship down into the ocean.
