[OOC] Dungeon Keepers

You know, my original idea for a keeper was going to be a wintery overlord. (That might've been where I was going with the Champions)
So I would be more than happy to take the witches, if you think I can handle it.
I'm sure you know where I stand on the plot, but I'm not insanely attached to the idea, and would be fine with us just going with the people conquering people and Keepers. That one sticks to the plot of the other DKs much better anyways.

If you decide to take to witches, you can't have your Keeper in the same area. That would be a conflict of interest. Same for everyone. It would be much more preferable, for when you fight the NPCs (at least the major ones), if the NPCs are played by a different person. This makes the battle fair, interesting, and not entirely pre-scripted in your head.

Oh yeah. Once Cyclone brought up the ice witches, I threw my old keeper in the metaphorical trash, to come up with something less... done.

I would join the bad-wagon and ditch my Keeper idea, but I never actually got her to Keeper status by the time this stumbled into a brick wall that gave way to a hundred foot drop with intermittent brick walls enough to hurt but break under the impact of your mangled carcass. So yea, I'm keeping her.

Take the ice witches if you like, but don't feel obligated. I would be willing to play them in addition to the fire warlocks/cultists.

I've got a solid idea for a rogue being. I also have an idea for a Keeper, but I'm being plagued with second thoughts regarding it. With each successive RP it grows harder for me to think of a Keeper that I see as original enough.

I have no problem with you being both a Keeper and a nation. Just please put them in different places, to avoid conflicts of interest.

Alright, so are we waiting on the tribes and main nation to be ready before starting the new one?

I can have a good write up prepared for the Jungle Tribes ready within two days if that's the case.

I think we ought to make an interest check for the new one on the off chance that some people might want to join.

I'm waiting for exams to finish so I can commit time to this. That will be in 3 weeks, exactly. Until then I won't be able to do things like write a new OP (which we will need to do) or make a map, or even make full-sized posts. I don't think it is good practise to leave an interest check hanging for three weeks.

Until then, it would be nice to have entries for each nation in writing. Save time later.

Yeah, I've been looking at that 'Last post: 3 Weeks ago' for awhile now longingly. For the past three weeks I have been brainstorming to create the best keeper I can. I am so ready.

Of course, the 3 weeks probably wasn't the most accurate measurement, and RL does come before RP.

Exactly 22 hours to go, then I shall be free (give me another hour or two for me to get back to my computer, of course). Whether I will be up to writing the new OP this time tomorrow is another matter, but I can at least get started on it.

If you all want to be helpful, you can contribute a few paragraphs or however much is suitable about each of your NPC nations/tribes/races. This includes getting names for them all. How's Cyprus for the name of the land?

Another good idea would be making/getting a banner.

I do like Cyprus. I also have the Ice Witch nations stuff written out, but I have been meaning to message Cyclone about it.
Can't say I can do much banner-wise.
Anyways, I'm ready to post the Ice Witch stuff whenever.
