I still feel that Shaige would be the best fit for my rogue being, because reasons. I suppose I'll try to do something with him while you figure that all out.

Sorry that I haven't posted for a while. I've been busy, then ill. I'm still ill, but I'll try to get something up anyway.

@Dawnon, Macaroth must have an incredibly sensitive magical sense if he can detect, even vaguely, a Keeper which is at a relatively low level of power at a range of 1400km over all the background noise of Elysium's native magic. I'm not saying it can't be done, and a rival is always good fun to have, just that it is a bit of a stretch.

Hope you feel better, BBeast.

I suppose Shaige would be a decent fit for a smoke demon esque creature, since his theme is something akin to a voodoo loa or an Aztec god. He originally would be somewhat of a necromancer, but I'll just keep the pain elementals and refrain from doing too much else with undead since that's Calvartem's specialty.

Yeah, do whatever with your rogue being for a while. So long as you don't massacre all of Paterdomus in the time span of a few hours.

I must compliment your work on the Compendium, Bbeast. You're jotting down stuff I haven't even bothered to properly lay out for you. Keep it up!

In other news, I am considering making my own Rogue Being. Perhaps I'll even be original this time, but ol' Geon's just so much fun. I'm also open to Clotho adopting a Rogue Being of her own, but some of the candidates so far are unlikely. The only one currently available (if I haven't missed something) is Ifrit, and four-legged fiery skeleton in a dungeon made of paper in a tree doesn't seem like a good idea for some reason.

Can't wait for Antartic Termite's entrance, though.

Yes. What's taking Antartic Termite so long anyway? We haven't heard from him for days.

I considered making a Rogue Being, bringing back ol' Torrens, but there aren't much in the way of suitable Keepers for him (they're all either too wet, too flammable, too cold or already taken) and the niche of fire demon has already been filled by Ifrit. By the way, Dr Trapezoid, I think you're doing very well writing for Ifrit.

*blushes* Thanks. I spent a lot of time on him.

If I had to guess something came up for AT IRL.

That is quite possible. The thing about the internet is that if someone drops off the grid you are rarely capable of finding out why, or when they may return.

i thought that Macaroth has more sensitivity since he isnt spending his magic on his minions and his dungeon as much as the others are, he is the sort of keeper that doesent water down his powers unless necessary you know. at his prime he will be a very powerful combatant and not one to cross at all, especially with a legion of winged badasses supporting him

by the way i was going to ask about distances because im not sure..how distant is every keeper from me? im not too good with the map

I'd say that Clotho's dungeon is approximately 850 miles from yours, Dawnon.

I would say Calvartem is about 900-1,000 miles away from you, with Shaige being maybe another few hundred farther than that. Of course, the nice coastline south of Paterdomus is probably one of the most densely populated places on the continent, so there are a lot of humans between us all to serve as barriers.

When I edit the map to add the locations of your dungeons I should also edit the scale so that it is in some easy-to-handle quantity of units. The current scale has the numbers it has because, from the circumference I chose for Elysium, the scale was in 1cm increments when drawn on paper. On a computer screen, where zoom is variable, such a scale is less useful.

On that note, what colour do you want to be on the map? I can give you all different colours, so long as the colour isn't the same as the map.

I wouldn't mind a bright orange color on the map, if its not too much trouble.

In response to your question, DA, I would have to say I'm at least a good... 1,500-ish miles away from you? Supposing I still have rudimentary map-reading skills...

Hmmm... I'll try to get in another post soon-ish with Ifrit, but I'd rather leave it for a moment, so that Cyclone can mould Paterdomus as he sees fit...

Hmm, alright. I was wanting to wait for Jay to respond to Balon, but later today I'll try to post as Shaige. It might end up being a monster of a post.

Well, that post took longer to write than I expected, and upon realizing that I'd have to write another twenty or thirty paragraphs to get Shaige over to Paterdomus and describe the place, I just decided to forget it. I'll try my best to write at least this much tomorrow, even if that means double posting. Sorry for taking so long.

I'd pick green were my dungeon not situated in a green area. Instead, I'd prefer dark red.

Purple would be fitting for Shaige. Mysterious and eldritch, without being overtly threatening.
