Well, I'm back from a two day trip. Looking back I see that I forgot to tell you all about that, but fortunately it seems that things picked up and I wasn't missed.
As in for the discussion about creatures, I agree that the Walkers have my pain elementals beat, although you did forget one thing: since they're usually just little balls of light, the pain elementals have limited flight capabilities. But in any case, I wanted them to be weak since Shaige himself is rather OP at the moment. I'm trying not to repeat last roleplay with Gorsik's grotesquely overpowered level one golems and a bunch of puny tier-two rock flayers and tier-three hobgoblins.
Also, in my next few posts, I plan on writing up a rather lengthy bit of lore and description for Alterax. Would there be any problem with that?
Nope. Go ahead. I had a little something planned for the people in the tundra immediately north of Paterdomus, but we can keep them separate and just say that they're isolated from Altearx.
So since the sun is the source of any and all magic, how does it turning red affect the entire magic system of the planet?
The red color reflects the Ripper's destructive magic. For now magic down on Elysium won't be affected much, but you can rest assured that what's going on over there with the Ripper, Carver, and Zadok will soon start to have an effect on the planet.
Edit: Dr Trapezoid, since Shaige is just sitting outside Paterdomus watching what's about to happen, I was going to wait for you to post as Ifrit. Were you waiting on me as well? I suppose I could control the humans amassed outside if you want me to. They could see the red sun, interpret it as a sign from their fire god, and then go crazy with religious fervor and charge to their deaths.
