Jero and I have actually been talking about moving up there after school. I'm actually looking into how to become a citizen and everything.

I just wonder how that would affect my education since I'm going to school for teaching... =/

Teaching qualifications are fairly transferable, I'd think? You may have to learn some other things depending on differences in the curriculum, but I'd think the general skills are applicable no matter where you live.

A lot of Americans are actually going up to Canada for their education as it is much more affordable than it is down here.

I think there's a difference between heading up to go study in McGill or the U of A versus trying to get citizenship, like Squee said she was looking at.

I was just posting in general because I know that, as of right now, cost of education is a factor for their immediate circumstance, and letting her know that she would have an easier time paying for higher education would give her more of an incentive to want to go. :D
