[IC] Caldwell’s Academy of Magical Talents and Draconic Arts Academy- OOC: Redo 2

[Aisling]

"Eliza then it is. Yes he will be after he gets over his shock of actually thinking of having a dream. Some find it hard to believe that they have a magical core.
Elliot is your name. You will find out that you have magic then perhaps you will be even more surprised.
May we know what your name is?" Lady Violetta spoke kindly as she watches the last one get up and walked over to where the others are.
Another student, a female this time, landed on the soft mossy grass. Lady Violetta waved as she stood up.
"Excuse me for a moment, students while I greet this student."

As she was looking around, Ayaka saw a group of people on the steps of a building that looked very much like the one she saw in the painting. One of the people waved, so she decided to walk over and see what just happened. She knew she couldn't be dreaming. After all, she was going to be heading toward school after her trip to the museum. "Did I actually "enter" through a painting? That's insane," she said as she approached the group.

Alethea never disclosed the day of her birth to anyone, it was too much attention. She didn’t want to be flocked to with gifts and presents. The only person who knew her day of birth was her mother, who was mute. Alethea continued with her normal wake up routine, only to find something a bit more odd. Outside her door a present sat, rectangular and wrapped in vividly toned gifting paper. Alethea was puzzled, at how this could of got here. Her mother had never gotten her a gift, she knew that Alethea wouldn’t accept it. She glanced both ways, and then picked up the present from infront of her bedroom door. A tag hung from the back, merely saying happy sixteenth.

“ How queer.” She thought to herself, nodding her head in disbelief. She dug her sharpened nails into the packaging and teared off the wrapping paper. A painting, of sorts was revealed- the imagery in it was unclear. She pressed her finger against the materiel that was used to design it.
She watched as her vision blanked out, as if it was a protection mechanism.. It wasn’t long before Alethea reopened her eyes looking up at a new sky. Her hands pressed onto soft grass, much different than the dead polluted grass of your former experience.

Elliot looked over at Ayaka. "It is crazy! Absolutely insane!" He kept laughing in a hysterical, in shock kind of way. "First magic, and now I'm talking to a girl with pink hair and cat ears! I need to stop working so hard, my dreams are getting WEIRD."

[Ninkitty]

Ayaka looked over at Elliot a little concerned if he was ok. At least she knew well enough this was no dream and obviously the fact she was wearing cat ears didn't help matters. "They aren't real cat ears. See?" she took them off and showed him that the cat ears he saw was just a headband she was wearing.

Alethea looked over at the commotion, of people talking next to her. Then back at Lady Voiletta Rose deForrest, unsure of what to say.

[Aisling]

Noirin landed not with the thud she expected but with a soft bouncy kind of a landing. She still had her bag of birthday gifts from the attic which she had clutched to her chest while she looked around nervously. She kept her mouth shut tight and just watched what the other people were doing while trying to figure out what had happened. A guy began to laugh for some strange reason, there were two other females sitting nearby, more on the steps......

"I must have hit my head and in a weird dream... Bess will be angry with me for sure...." she whispered softly.

Before lady Violetta could arrive on the Fall, there were 3 students there! She quickly spoke before any more fell into the Academy then made shooing motions at the new students as if she was shooing chickens into a coop.
"Welcome to Caldwell’s Academy of Magical Talents and Draconic Arts Academy! My name is Lady Violetta and I am your Headmaster.Please head to the steps before someone else falls into the picture! Come, come, let's move quickly for there are likely to be more students falling on the Fall!"

Alethea scurried to the steps, still trying to process everything.

[Aisling]

Roisin stood up, sat the satchel between her feet, brushed off her skirt and straighten her blouse before moving to the porch where the other students were gathering.
She did say a word but she kept an eye on everyone by standing in the corner the farthest away from everyone else while clutching her satchel tightly.

The shy girl ran the steps of the school. Her mother would be angry with her for not returning home immediately, however she had left her satchel in the arts room, and it was the only thing she allowed herself to possess, having anything else would be rude to her mother. She sprinted into the arts room, grabbed her satchel, filled with paints, a sketchbook, and her prized journal in which she kept her deepest, truest thoughts. She was about to leave when horror struck her; for her beloved painting that she dreamed about months before painting it was turned around. Someone had looked at it. She screamed. Nobody should have looked upon it. It was a stupid thing anyway, she only drew it because it was all she could draw. It was in her head 24/7, she couldn't scare it away. She picked up a nearby chair. She had enough of the stupid painting, it was ruining her life. She smashed it with the chair, destoyimg her art. As it splintered, she flew into the empty space it had been, and suddenly she felt she was falling. And she landed on soft grass. She just laid there, staring at the sky, speechless. She did not stand until someone called her.

Alethea paused, and then walked over to Roisin watching as she grabbed at her satchel.

" Well met." She said, looking Roisin up and down.

[Aisling]

Roisin looked at the girl who spoke to her,
"Well met? I am not yet sure that we have met since I honestly do not know your name and I doubt that you know mine...... Anyways I am dreaming from sort of a head trauma from some kind of an accident. I'll be awake soon enough then will I be in trouble. It would be best to think of how to get get of the mess I'll be in when I wake up....." she spoke so softly as if she was speaking to herself.

As another student landed, Lady Violetta turned to shoo her along as well.
"You have arrived safely at Caldwell’s Academy of Magical Talents and Draconic Arts Academy. Please join the other students on the steps so that more can land safely."

The girl stared wide eyed, and stood up wobbly, looking at the building. She looked back and forth from lady Violetta and the school a couple times, and then she fainted. Elliot walked up to Roisin and said "are you dreaming too? Cause I'm dreaming. What if there's a dream world and we are ALL dreaming!?" He asked to himself, looking around at the other students. "My imagination must be insane!" He yelled, and started moving out of the "crazily disbelieving" shock and into the "freaking out" shock.

Alethea merely smirked, acting as if she understood everything that Roisin said to her. She looked reached to her wrist and pulled of a band, using it to tie her hair back into a ponytail.

" It's a greeting, but my name is Alethea." She replied, crossing her arms in order to warm her hands. Then walking away a bit, in order to distance herself to show that she stopped her side of the conversation.

Ayaka put her headband back on just as other students arrived. She noticed how Elliot was freaking out and again wondered if he was ok. Just as he was yelling about his imagination being insane, Ayaka sat down. She just decided to not speak to anyone for the moment. Instead, she started thinking to herself about how she actually fell through a painting. If she wasn't so sure she was awake, she'd probably think this a dream too. Lady Violetta kept saying that this was an academy for magic or whatever. "Does magic REALLY exist?" she asked. "Because it just sounds...I don't know...fairy taleish?"

[Eliza]

I was off in my little world & so I didn't notice there was alot more people around than before. Than I notice a girl with pink hair & a cat ears headbend saying "Does magic REALLY exist? because it sounds like a fairy tale way to much" or something like that.
"Why shouldn't magic exist you & I exist why not magic ummm sorry I don't know your name."

[Aisling]

Noirin was disturbed by a guy that spoke of a dream world...... She could hardly believe that everyone there was dreaming just like herself. Finally she responded with

"I honestly do not know what to think of at this moment. I hope that my imagination has not gone wild again. Thank you Althea. I never been greeted like you have. My name is Noirin. I am sorry if I was a bit rude but to fall through a picture onto a lawn that looks just like the picture is..... too much for my mind to comprehend! It's more like Alice in Wonderland than real life!"

Lady Violetta smiled and spoke to them in a soft voice.

"Perhaps you are in a Wonderland of a sort, Noirin. Where do fairy tales come from Ayaka? They must stem from somewhere don't they? Lets see.....Elliot, there are many quotes about dream worlds...... Edgar Allan Poe has a good one- “Those who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream only by night.” And Gloria Steinem said this- “Without leaps of imagination or dreaming, we lose the excitement of possibilities. Dreaming, after all is a form of planning.” This one is my personal favorite- “A dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality.” John Lennon said that one.
Now let me see if I know the names of each of my students…… Elizabeth or Eliza was the first to arrive then Dante, Elliot, Ayaka, Alethea, Melody and I just know your name even if you did not speak it- last was Noirin. 6 students so far. Good. Now let’s all calm down and go inside to the Lecture Hall. Follow me if you please…..” Lady Violetta did a quick silent ‘follow me ‘ spell then turned to the door
“Please open up for me, Great Door of Learning.”
The door was huge enough to let 6 people pass at the same time but it opened slowly and grandly to reveal various things.
Marble floors shined, the wooden walls were made of various woods, the wood trimming had various creatures carved into it.
The far door opened as Lady Violetta approached it and so did the next two doors.
Once inside the last door, Lady Violetta spoke once more
“Please find a seat where you can hear me and see what I am doing.”

"I'm Ayaka," she said to Eliza, but Lady Violetta started speaking before she can say much else. Of course both the headmistress and Eliza did give her something to think about. The whole idea that magic can exist just because people do sounds crazy, but then again she did end up there by falling through a picture. She wasn't exactly sure how to answer 'Where do fairytales come from?' at the moment either. Ayaka thought about that while waiting as the door slowly opened for them before following Lady Violetta. Once she was told to, she went to find a seat while making sure she'll be able to see what the headmistress is doing.

Dante followed the group through the building intel the head mistress told them to sit down he looked around for a seat for a moment then when he found one sat down and watched the other students find there seats. The new students were odd each of then diffrent from the ones that can't believe magic is real to the ones who are over Joyed to hear it is they were all unique an that's all Dante cared about putting his head down he laughed to himself, "This is going to be fun."

The girl stood up, she had only fainted for a moment. She did not trust these people, they could have drugged her or kidnapped her or something, so she gave a fake name, Melody. She walked in with the others, although she was being paranoid, and looking for possible escape plans just in case.
Elliot had calmed down at hearing lady violetta's speech. Who was he to say this wasn't real? After all, he had burnt a whole gymnasium down with nothing at all. So he walked with the others to the hall, and sat down beside the girl with the cat ears.
"Sorry about earlier, " he said."I was kind of in shock, and now I'm just going to go along with it until proven it's fake." He finished with a laugh. He quickly introduced himself to her. "I'm Elliot, and I'm sorry I do not remember your name."
