i think its funny how i almost chose the sky dragon or water dragon(probably wouldn't been water dragon though xD) and instead went with frost wolf and you post about getting a sky dragon egg XD. but yeah i guess i decided not to because it wasn't too clear for me either..though i might have had ayaka interested in both o.o.

In Chinese mythology, the Phoenix and the Chinese dragon are symbols of yin yang. Elliot and Melody will be a lot like this, keeping balance and cancelling eachother out. I didn't plan the symbolism but just realized that Elliot's firebird and melody's ancient dragon resemble this, and their relationship throughout the RP will also show this symbolism.

All Chinese dragons will be available to Traditional Students because they take too long before they can be ridden. They take about three times as long. If a student wants to take both courses that will be fine. They may change to Draconic when they complete level 3.
