Pioneers
And with the last drop, came the end of the so-called "Mushroom War." 6 years after the last drop, the toll on the world could not be heavier, a scar, left permanently, now an always grim reminder to the once denizens of the world. Yes, the denizens, perhaps the more appropriate term is remnants. The world, now unforgiving, nigh-uninhabitable, and barren, yet they struggle to survive. Though, the question is not whether they are able to live in this world, how long? How long before the monsters that were once comrades, friends, and family, chase them down? How long before they succumb to the insanity brought upon by loneliness? How long before all lose hope and give into despair?
How long will it take to start anew?
Hi XD
So as you can see from the prologue/summary/intro, its gonna be a bit darker than the actual show as this is gonna take place when the Mushroom War was still relatively recent. The actual RP is gonna be less dark than what the summary makes it seem, depending on how you go about with it. We play as the last remnants of whatever civilization was established just before the war. Be it human or other sentient creatures. Now what makes this unique from other Post-Apocalyptic RPs is that our characters would actually build this world into the world now known as the Land of Ooo, which is why its titled partially Pioneers. Each of our characters has some contribution to the progress of the world into the Land of Ooo, whether it be research into magic, inventing new technology, or even engineering new organisms (like the Candy people). Also, our characters themselves are either not human, or are transhumans, actual humans would: die from prolonged exposure to radiation, turn into the shambling, zombie-like Goo Monsters, or would be forced to naturally evolve to adapt to the deadly environment, while still retaining personality, intelligence, etc.
The RP world would develop over time and I may or may not include random events and things. This is still a bit cluttered in my head, so I appreciate any comments and suggestions from anyone.
Thanks :D
