With permission given, Sebastian gave a small nod, taking his free arm and pulling down his blindfold to rest on his neck. While his eyes were a wonderful light blue, the area around his eyes were heavily scarred. Seeing what he was talking to, he stopped breathing. Yes, she was in a more human form, but there was no doubt she was a dragon of some kind. Suddenly, he was incredibly grateful he wasn't dead. While he had considered the possibility he was talking to a dragon, it was one he thought near impossible. "...Honestly, this is a bit of a surprise." He grinned, still trying to process what he was standing in front of.

Elaine looked into his eyes for a moment quite intrigued with what she saw, "Yes surprising..." she wrapped the tip of her tail around his leg, "You are a Medium?" Elaine smiled her fangs showing as she did so, "You have been harmed by those who are dead...I have met some like you before..." Elaine looked him up and down it was rare that she saw humans and even more special that they themselves be special.

After Jamie had left for work, Lily geared up and headed out, on her daily jog. Heading to the forest, there was nothing she loved more than the fresh air, exercising made her feel like she could forget all her woes. It was a rarity that she missed a day, only ceasing to run if it was raining, Preferring to run without music in her ears, Lily liked the sound of the ground under her feet, and the tranquility of the woods. Occasionally she came across others, but a lot of the time it was just her, and nature,

David walked over seeing Lily. "its nice to see a mermaid again..." He said smiling at her. He waved at her "Hello. My name is David.." He then pointed at the sky. "Weird weather for being spring,.." He then sat down on a rock. "So whats your name?"

Yuki said "I have to relax.." SHe began singing the lullaby her mother sang when she was scared. SHe rocked back and forth, the clouds began to fade

the shadow watched the mermaid and David from a distance, and then floated over to them

Stopping for a rest, Lily smiled as David approached. She found nothing more irritating than grumpy people, especially people who can't return kindness. In her opinion, manners cost nothing and she saw no point in being unnecessarily grumpy to those only being friendly. Not hearing the first part, Lily waved back.
"Hey David" she said, smiling broadly. Looking up to the sky after David pointed it out, she bit her lip slightly. He was right. It was spring, the sky shouldn't have been that colour. She knew she'd best keep an eye on it, if she knew what was best for her.
"Nice to meet you David, I'm Lily"

David smiled at the nice greeting . "It's nice to meet you too, Lily.." He them noticed the sky becoming more clear. "Strange.." He mumbles and then said "your a mermaid right? I haven't seen one in awhile.. "

Lily smiled as someone else approached, then her demeanour turned to shock. Her eyes widened at David's suggestion. How on earth did he know? She was sure she kept things pretty well hidden. Her own girlfriend didn't even know, so how could a complete stranger pick it? Looking at David, she shook her head.
"I'm sorry, you must be mistaken" she said, failing to notice the sky had cleared.

I may look human. But I'm not. Ever heard of time guardians? I'm one of them. I actually helped save some merfolk from hunters. Trust me I wont hurt you..." He said smiling

Lily looked at David, shaking her head. "I'm sorry, I can't say I have heard of time guardians". That said, there was a lot Lily didn't know. She was well aware that there could be a lot more to people than met the eye, but who could she trust? In the past, merfolk had been hunted to near extinction by humans, and it seemed like everyone had the same goal: to be on the top of the food chain. Despite old myths, merfolk preferred flight to fight, and were to an extent non-confrontational. "Won't hurt me" she breathed, "I've heard that before".

David said "trust me...my people has defended yours for a long time. I helped them stop numerous hunters from the humans" He said. David then showed her a old pocket watch. It was glowing "I can show you the past with this..." David smiled at her

Lily looked at the pocketwatch with intent. It was clear that this was no ordinary pocketwatch."What is that? It can show the past?" she asked, intrigued.
If he was attempting to hurt her, surely he would have by now. Nodding, she smiled slightly. "What does the past say?"

Sebastian gave a small nod. "I'm training to be a shaman, yes." Though he had been training already for five years, he still had at the very least ten more. While still unsure of where this conversation was heading, he was glad it seemed like he wasn't going to die. Of course, he could never be sure, but for now the outcome looked good. "Sometimes, they startle, it was my own fault." He wouldn't go around and blame things on the dead, it was disrespectful. He heard some rocks fall and quickly turned his head to the source, staring at them for a moment, before deciding that wasn't the biggest issue here and facing the dragon again.

He smiled at her and said "I can do more then that." David took Lily's hand and his pocket watch glowed. He held her hand as time began reversing around him. They were by the beach now. "No watch over there." He pointed to a burning ship. There was cheering. "That's when I helped some mermen take down a hunter ship.."

Elaine yawned a little, "You know creatures like me can sense fear...I can hear your heart beating." She placed a hand on his chest, "Relax dear...If I had been wanting to kill you...You'd have never seen or heard me." Elaine reached up and touched her horns, "Still don't have that transformation right..." She looked back at Sebastian though she knew not his name, "I am Elaine The Frost-biter..." She bowed to him rather politely, "Its nice to meet you...?"

"That's true." Sebastian calmed down, though he wasn't very aware that he was still that on edge in the first place. Taking off his blindfold made him naturally more nervous, and the creature not too far from them also startled him. "Did you mean to do something else?" The horns looked completely in place to him. He wasn't sure if he had already introduced himself or not, but decided that if he had, to say it again for formality's sake. "Sebastian Haas. It's very nice to meet you, Elaine." It was also nice to know what kind of dragon she was, or at least what category her powers fell under.

"Oh my goodness! What's happening!" Lily exclaimed as everything around her and David started reversing. Her eyes widened as she watched the ship burn. There were bodies everywhere, both human and merman.
"I remember my father telling me stories about this when I was little. I had no idea you were there too. It was quite the battle"

Elaine smiled and laughed a little, "I have been trying to turn completely human for some time now...I still am unable." She simply smiled and laughed again, "So in all honesty...I only stopped you because its rather boring and lonely out here in the woods...And you're an interesting man..." Elaine smiled a genuine smile this time not trying to seem intimidating...She kind of looked a bit ditsy...And thats because she was. "If you wouldn't mind...I could use someone to walk with..."
