Generally, he spends his weekdays in Fiora Falls and his weekends on Bluebell Shore. And sure, I'll start working on it. Still need 900 more words before I beat my friend. XD

Interesting character. Since he spends a lot of his time in Fiora, I'm sure he would run into Gaku eventually. Kind of curious how their relationship would be though. Future wise though, I could totally see them fighting. If it's a friendly brawl or not is the question.

Posting wise, I'll do a follow up post to Liriia's post later, however I'm probably going to wait a day or two to see if Chezka posts anything. If there is even mo' interaction, which assuming there will be unless Chezka has Izzie jump out the window, then I'll just tie it into one larger post. If there is nothing, then I'll just whip up a little something something.

Everett Michaels – Considering Brent's adventuring and such, he'd be injured quite a lot, so I could imagine that he'd be going to require Everett's services a lot. Don't know how much Everett would appreciate Brent's crazy personality though. Seeing how he's a health nut though, maybe Brent could have worked for him a few times in the past, searching for herbs and such? Brent might also be a bit pushy when it comes to Everett not exercising enough and building manly muscles. Oh yeah. Soup bros. Nuff said.

Alex Garnet – EXTREMELY interested. More specifically, Brent would have never seen someone like Alex before, and his previous research would have told him that she may be someone with both the souls of a male and a female. Which would make her an object of research. I don't know how she'd react to him, but chances are, he'd try to talk to her as much as possible. Lots of questions about her opinions and views as well. At the same time...it won't exactly be a true 'friendship', or even a friendly acquaintance. Perhaps we could develop something along that line?

Gaku Yamamoto – Brent would respect Gaku's bluntness and honesty. Seeing how he's an Inn worker, maybe they have some sort of...music-discussing relationship? Brent doesn't particularly like Rock, unless it has nice lyrics, and he could probably be introduced to Classical music via Gaku. He'd obviously dislike Gaku's own laziness though. Something along the lines of “If you're not going to work, can I have your job?”.

Eli Stern – Most likely, he'll think of her as his junior, as well as a rival to compete for jobs with. Perhaps something along the lines of...half-mentor half-competitor? I could imagine him contacting her whenever there's a job that two can do, if only because it's more fun to work in a team than alone. Other than that...perhaps they originally became acquainted when she went off to Fiora Falls to paint, and saw him bathing? XD

Isis Thorne – He'd find her a bit boring, considering how she enjoys 'calmer' things. So Brent and Isis would probably be more distant from other than the others. Not to mention that she likes hot springs to destress, while he likes cold showers to achieve Zen. Maybe they'd meet at the bar a few times though? Exchange a few stories when he's not busy 'chatting' with Alex? Would she have been one of the first people to greet/acquaint herself with him when Brent first came to Lily Town though?

Izzie McKenzie – Brent really likes her. Considering their personality, and the nature of Brent's own research, she'd probably tag along a lot. Like, gosh, I'd be hardpressed to find a reason that they wouldn't get alone (maybe that's just me being unimaginative though). Perhaps he'd have met her grandfather first though, considering he camps out in Fiora Falls? Probably be asking her grandpa a lot about the Goddess and the Spirits and the Witch as well.

Henry Manteel – Seeing how they were both originally from elite families, maybe they would have met in the past? Elementary school? It'd probably be onesided, with Henry hearing about Brent though. Outside that...Brent may have visited Henry a few times, just to say 'hi' and buy some super-fresh vegetables, but that'd be it. Think they might have set up an exchange system of sorts, in which farm-grown veggies are exchanged for wild, foraged vegetables?

I like the idea and direction of that, but a few issues. Namely, Alex, by all accounts, pretty much looks female. If she neglects her appearance, she could pass off as androgynous, but considering she identifies as female and cross-dresses, many would assume that she's a girl anyway. She isn't exactly averse to telling people her biological gender -- but the actual topic would have to be brought up by someone else, and they would have to be reasonably close.

Realistically, Brent would have to be told by someone else. I'm also not sure what you mean by 'previous research'.

If, however, he found out and questioned her about it, she would probably try to be as accommodating to his queries as humanly possible -- however, it would also make her rather uncomfortable. She also probably wouldn't have the guts to ask him to stop, meaning, yes, he's probably not going to endear himself to her.

I like it, ERode. Sounds good enough, and with the whole musical thing it would be easier to expand the relationship from there.

A lot of your character interactions gave me something of an idea. I'm trying to play off Gaku's own self-doubt, so I think I could expand it into Izzie's characteristics, and how she's liked by a lot of the characters because of her happy joker attitude. Have Gaku go through something like a "How can someone so liked be good friends with someone who turns people away?" phase he can go through later in the story.

But maybe I'm just planning too far ahead per usual. I'll just plant the seeds and see where they go.

And on that note, I just finished updating Gaku's profile with the last few character profiles.

Pfft, love the idea, ERode. Ill be adding it to my sheet soon. Eli will probably think of him that he is bit strange and maybe crazy, but she won't be entirely annoyed or scared by him. The working together thing sounds like a lot of fun too, can't wait to delve into that.

Also, I imagine Brent is going to be the character that drags everyone out to Witch Island for a rather horrific and fun experience. Just imagine a beach episode plus some elements of a Halloween episode in an anime. That would be interesting.

Yes I would imagine so. This sounds good to me. They are opposites I would imagine her not avoiding him but a little apprehensive because she dose like calmer things and he sound to me like a 'go-go-go person' and the makes her a little scared cuz she likes things that are known and comfortable
But eventually I would like to see her inspired by him.

I am working on my post now I want to have it up tonight. :)

Haha, yes! Izzie will definitely be up for some adventure-filled shenanigans. I also like the idea of Brent meeting her grandpa first. Her grandpa would have eagerly welcomed the stranger (in every sense of the word) to his home and would probably enjoy Brent's company a lot. Izzie could have met him during one of frequent visits, and her grandpa would have casually introduced them like, 'this is that interesting young man who lives in the wild and hunts witches. I think you'll get along well.'

I'll update my CS in a bit.

@Van. Ooh, that's an interesting source of conflict. Because of how she is, Izzie will probably have a hard time picking up on any insecurities he'd have, which may just make it worse for him.

I was thinking of adding a tailor shop but you took over the idea, Darcness, I'm glad (Less work for me!). Both characters are accepted and good first posts all. Once everyone has posted at least once we can discuss how long we want the first day to be and perhaps I could explain the plot I have in mind, if anyone is interested.

@Discontent: By previous research, I mean that he's studied the cultural/religious history of other countries/ethnicities in the past, which include the Native American thoughts regarding Two-Spirits. But yeah, derped up in regards to the assumption that he would already know. It would probably be something that could come up later in the RP then? For now, he'd probably just be another semi-regular at the bar, perhaps one that asks Alex straight-up why she'd be a bartender if her social skills were so sub-standard.

@Liriia: Yeah, he'll definitely set something up like that. His choice of wording would probably be something along the lines of..."Let's go on a Witch Hunt!" Probably be something really impromptu as well. Just go to the bar and start recruiting during a weekend.

@Chezka: In terms of the whole grandpa thing...do you have a name for him and his friend?

And while I'm at it...

Rosemary Bates - Who? Chances are, Brent would try to develop some sort of friendship with Rosemary, but yeah...he'd forget her existence pretty easily. Something along the lines of 'losing track of her while he does his own stuff', seeing how she's just really damn quiet.

Alice Rems - I wonder...could something be done with the fact that Isis, Brent, and Alice all like stories and such? Something like a mini-Literature Club? Not really sure where to go from here, but that might be semi-interesting. Outside that, he'd probably never ever actually go to her shop, considering he doesn't care much in terms of perfectly-fitting clothing. Oh yeah, is her crush on Everett obvious?

@ERode: I'll go with Sully for her grandpa, 'cause that seems like a cool grandfather name. XD Formally, he'd be Sullivan Jacobs and his friend's name is Carl.

Rosemary: Has seen the girl around before, but hasn't spoken to her. Has been meaning to go into the shop though, as Eli is running out of usable outfits and gadgets. They might get along, though (or maybe not at all)

Alice: Hasn't seen or heard of this girl. Might be interested with her cooking ability though, as Eli is a rather okay chef herself. Alice's overly bright personality might be a turn off, or perhaps a pleasing if the two wanted to become friends.

Brent: (Have yet to meet I believe) A rather strange character, Eli is somewhat afraid of him and his eccentric, hobo type ways. While he does treat her kindly, Brent is somewhat competitive, especially in a work environment, and Eli normally seems as though she doesn't care for that side of him while in reality is somewhat amused by it. He isn't safe from her sharp remarks, but he isn't exactly a thorn in her side either, and I would like to think they would form some type of friendly rivalry/ friendship.

Okie dokes! Still waiting on jennifer's character sheet, but other then that everything should be up-to-date. Let's hope this game doesn't crash and burn anytime soon. (;

Also! ERode, Darcness, don't forget to post your character sheets in the forum I have linked on the first post in the OOC.

all done on my end :3

@Erode- The idea is amazing with the literature club- 8D and Yes, her crush on him is a bit obvious- going red in the face and then being filled with the sudden need to run in embarrassment. Because her health is so bad, she has to go see him more often than most so doctor's visits would be like going in, getting everything done then her paying and fleeing lol ( ´∀`).

Sounds good. I think having people find out, instead of them knowing already, would be more interesting anyway.
Anyway, Alex would more or less enjoy his enthusiasm, but not all the personal questions. Like with many others, she would try to be as amiable as possible, but I'm thinking he might put a strain on that at certain points. Should be fun.

Darcness said -Alex Garnet: As they share a strong since of sarcasm, they would be a bit level headed around each other- or merciless, but probably in friendly bouts.

... share a strong sense of sarcasm? Level-headed? Merciless? Did you get Alex mistaken with a different character? It's the complete opposite.

Alice Rems: Out of all the people in town, Alex would probably find Alice to be the most relatable. Note that 'relatable' does not necessarily mean that she likes her. Both considerably naïve, lacking in social skills -- but Alex would perceive the main difference between them being how Alex actively wants to change those flows, and is acutely aware of it's existence. Because of this, Alex doesn't like Alice, due to a subconscious feeling that she's looking at everything wrong with herself -- whether its true or not. She would probably be rather ashamed of this, and would hide her dislike as much as she can -- but her reactions to Alice would be filled with more stuttering and hesitations.

I'll try to get a post up sometime tonight -- also did Brent's relationship section on my CS. Just have to get Darcness's input before doing Alice's section.
Sorry to hear that, Jen.

If Alex identifies as female, is she transgendered? Does she take estrogen? I'm just asking cause I thought of it, and if that were the case Everett would most likely know about her.
