Metalstorm
The targeted Seeker dropped a cluster of flairs to throw off the lock, but one of the missiles made it past them and blew out one of the Seeker's engines. It was dumb luck, but that was more than enough to take the Seeker out of the fight, even if it didn't kill him. However, the other Seeker was now on his tail and had a lock on Metalstorm. Three missiles were let loose and streaked towards Metalstorm as alerts blared in his audio receptors notifying him of the danger.

Overboost
Roughneck grinned and followed Overboost, while Hyperspeed returned to attend to the resistance as a whole. It was likely that Overboost may not see Hyperspeed much, for this was easily the largest Autobot resistance group he'd ever seen. There were hundreds of bots in this cave complex. As they walked, Roughneck continued, "I deal with it by keeping busy. I can focus on the task at hand instead of my condition. As for the other two... they deserted us in favor of a suicidal resistance group, and were wiped out with the rest. The sad part is they knew full well it was suicide to join them, but they just couldn't deal with being unable to transform."

Specter
The caravan was lightly guarded for its size. It had half a dozen guards, and it appeared to contain enough supplies to last them a decacycle. Without regarding Specter's statement, the raid leader gave the go ahead and the party moved in. They were quickly noticed and fired on with several cries of surprise.

Metalstorm quickly dived towards the falling Seeker. He just needed to keep the missiles off him for enough time to get to the Decepticon. Transforming, he just barely managed it, and pulled the wounded Seeker up as a shield, the missiles plowing into the other bot. Despite this, Metalstorm was still blown back, and shrapnel flew through him. Though none of the damage was major, it still caused several alarms to go off. On the ground, he started to feel insecure. He always had felt scared of the ground, as it was where flyers went to die. He started looking around madly, constantly fretting about ambushes. There was so many hiding places that the enemy could be, he was now in full on panic. He tried transforming, but couldn't. This worsened the matter, and he was now hysterical. Without flight, he was nothing. Easy prey for any bot that was flying above, he hated the ground. Hated it, hated it, hated it!

DarkStar looked off towards the far corner of the ceiling as the mechanic laughed at him. Darkstar thought for a bit after the bot stopped talking. He calmly spoke, "Yeah, i would guess you are right. I have not heard much positive about Prime yet I doubt he would be the one to give up. Otherwise, this war would have been over long ago. When I crash landed it knocked out my communications and my sense of direction. After recovering from the crash, I tried to get to a Decepticon outpost, but i am pretty sure I have been going in circles until you lot stopped me. What do we do now that you have finished your repairs, Doc" DarkStar knew the answer to that question. Now he was going to be put in a cell for a couple cycles and from there who knows. He was at the whims of the Autobots.

Metalstorm
Metalstorm's paranoia was well-warranted, as the remaining Seeker took advantage of the now-grounded bot. He streaked over Metalstorm and dropped several bombs in a straight line, and Metalstorm was right in the bombing path.

Darkstar
After putting the finishing touches on the paint and stepping back, Spotweld said, "Well, you probably guessed you're going in a cell, as is sensible. Unfortunately, we lack a brig due to being unable to acquire replacement forcefield generators for the cells when our last ones burned out. Until Hyperspeed decides what to do with you, you have access to all the low-security areas. Make yourself at home, if you can call it that." Darkstar would find that Spotweld was quite skilled. The paint job matched almost perfectly, and there was little sign of replacement parts. But the biggest thing Darkstar would notice was the disdain in Spotweld's voice. He obviously didn't like the idea of a Decepticon wandering the base, but there was no other option except to just let him go, which was not the first thing Hyperspeed wanted now that the Seeker knew the location of the place.

Overboost sighed inwardly. In the days since escaping from Crosswire's lab he'd met many an autobot in Cybertron's wastelands, he had even known some of them from the War and even from before that. Good and capable bots who had fought long and hard for their planet and they were all dead now. They had given up hope and allowed themselves to die. They couldn't know what he or Roughneck and the others had gone through, were going through, but still chose to extinguish their own sparks. Overboost swore to himself he'd never let it come to that. If he died it would not be a meaningless death driven by despair, he would die for a cause, for something worth fighting for. Which brought him back to his chat with Roughneck "You've been here longer than I have. How are things in this place?".

Metalstorm
Metalstorm was quick to transform once again and fly out of the way, but the Seeker still had some tricks left. More missiles went Metalstorm's way, but flares were sufficient to throw them off. The insane flier then let loose a spray of machine gun fire that tore the final Seeker apart and hurtling towards the ground. The skies, much to Metalstorm's delight, were clear once more, at least until the next encounter.

Overboost
Roughneck grinned in immediate response to the question. "I think you'll like what we have here. While Hyperspeed is definitely in charge and arranges raiding parties, manages resources, etc., that's really all he does. He's more of a manager, to be honest. We run ourselves like a family, bound by one goal: survival. We're here to keep the Autobot ideals alive in Optimus's absence, so that if we do regain contact, he won't find a planet populated entirely by Decepticons."
