Backstory:
Dale was born not knowing his mother. Dale's father was an engineer and usually took Dale with him on various trips, from this, Dale grew to like physics more than he did so with machines. At 8 years old, he started making contraptions made to test the rules of physics, everytime he was bored, he would make a new one, seldomly having completed a project, but those that were, marveled anyone who saw it. Dale gained his interest in mechanics when his father proposed him a project, making a power suit. Thus the first prototype was made, the first Titan, though it was more minuscule than the current ones. Though his dad was usually away on some unspoken trip, he continued the work himself. After some more years of testing and tinkering, they finally made the first skeleton of a 3 meter long Titan. At this same time, though, the attack begun, cities were being razed and the citizens in those that were still intact were told to evacuate. His father told him to go on ahead and that he will catch up, while simultaneously and secretly putting a locket into his hands. Dale was 13 when he separated with his father.
He hid with the other Humans in the underground it was barren in the early years, but became larger towns later on, though the feeling of being confined on your own planet was still evident in most. Four years onward, and Dale has been in the mechanics division for quite some time, even designing his own Titan by himself. To this day, though, he is still unable to find the actual meaning of the insides locket: A piece of paper, on it are written numbers, with no spacing whatsoever, but on top of all that was a very peculiar looking shard of 'metal.'
