Roxy loved the city. There were so many place she could hide. Her life had been all about hiding the last 2 years. She was hiding from her father and his gang. Roxy travel clear across the country to get away from them. She was hoping New York would be a big enough place to void them. Roxy didn't mind living on the streets, she didn't mind fighting for her food and doing whatever was necessary to survive.

Lexy loved to run through the city especially when it was busy, she felt so free as she sprinted across the building tops and leaped over the great long drops between each of said building, the sound of the sirens tailing her every move as the police chased her down, the sound of her sprinting shoes hitting the concrete and her panting breath. Sure her latest act to try and steal something from someone's bag didn't go well, not her best stunt but the thrill of the chase was well worth it, she wondered how long this would keep up before she again lost the coppers, they could never catch her.
Seeing that her options of her next building destination were about to come to an abrupt end, Lexy decided that it wouldn't hurt to make the jump back to the street, grinning madly as she picked up her pace and charged straight ahead, glad that this building wasn't so tall or she wouldn't make this jump to the ground. There was always something to catch onto anyway when she makes this reckless move, and it was an excellent way to lose the cops that were hot on her tail, so close she could hear the frantic breath and thumping feet of the running police man behind her.
"Later Boys!!" Lexy cried out in delight to those who chased her as her right foot hit the edge of the building, pushing her forwards with great speed and the momentum of her current running pushing her forward a great length, it was a bit to late though that she noticed, her way down would lead her to land on a poor unsuspecting and unfortunate soul, unable to chance her direction even as she slowed herself down by grabbing a few windowsills on the way down to slow her descent she knew she would land on this person. Roxy
"Look out below!" Lexy called out as she was soon about to collide with the other girl who was below her,

Roxy looked up when she heard a voice shouting from above. She couldn't make out the words the person was saying, but considering the girl was practically falling on her head Roxy could guess what the girl was trying tell her. Roxy calculated the rate of the girls fall to determine where she needed to move to be safe. Although she had little schooling Roxy was something of a math genius. Being able to calculate speed and distance helped her get her knives exactly where she wanted them to go. Roxy stepped out of the falling girls way drawing one of her knives just in case she needed it.

Danny was practically skipping along the sidewalk, chugging down half a bottle of pepsi she stole off some punks at the skatepark. She may of been a little hyped up on the sugar but she swore she was seeing a girl falling from the sky. Then her eyes followed her path down to the other girl below....Wait, does that chick have knives Her eyes drawn to the reflective surface of the blades. She internally shook her head and ducked into any ally next to her. She reconsidered the idea of helping the two and chose the idea of watching instead.

Hustle, and bustle... It was always like this; always had, and always will be. People in suits, and office men with suitcases, what was new? The glory of traffic went by as the only thing that made this place seem like human was a sweet symphony coming from a worn-out violin. A blue-haired lad was playing it, his eyes closed in concentration. The boy was playing the classic Canon; a very popular piece on the violin. The busy people merely rolled their eyes, and as if out of pity, they dropped some coins into the tin can in front of the musician. Each time a coin was dropped, the lad would open his eyes and nod, and smile at the people who had been generous.

Suddenly, a young boy walked up to the musician as his sparkly innocent eyes goggled on his violin. "Hey mister! It's my birthday! Can you play me the happy birthday song?" the boy requested with such enthusiasm as the blue-haired lad chuckled, and nodded. In a short while, it was the classic 'Happy Birthday' melody that was playing in the air. In a matter of minutes, the melody finished, leaving the boy smiling.

Just as the boy was about to say something, the parents of the lad came by, and quickly dragged the boy away from lad.

"Happy birthday, sport!" the musician shouted as the kid looked back.

"Hey mister, what's your name?!"

"Mory." Mory replied with a small smile as he slumped down; looking at his can which contained a total of 2 dollars. "God must be happy with me." Mory grinned as his eye caught another beggar; a few blocks down with no one paying attention to him. Mory clenched his fist as he sighed and smiled. The lad stood up, and walked down to the old beggar, and without hesitating, he placed the two dollars inside the beggar's can.

The lad chuckled as he scurried back into his position, playing the Canon once more. Suddenly, he saw a bunch of policemen apparently chasing a girl down a few buildings. Now that was one thing; what surprised Mory was the fact that the girl JUMPED DOWN the tall ass building.

"Good lord... Did she survive?" Mory mumbled as he picked up his can, containing a dollar, and his violin. He quietly walked near the scene; seeing another girl. Making it look like, he wasn't interested, Mory set down his can and began to play another melody, the Happy Birthday... once more.

"Those policemen won't be far..." Mory smiled as he kept playing the tune; still keeping his eyes on the women.

Sol was always quiet. Like one of those shadows you see in the alleyways, but look the other way hoping it will disappear. He wasn't much of a rule-breaker and always managed to stay under the cops radar. However, he was surprised to see a young lady go running by, followed by a policeman. He decided to follow them, see what would happen. Not because he genuinely cared about either party, merely because he was curious as to who would win the race. If the officer won, he would silently congratulate the man on his catch. If the suspect won, he would silently congratulate her for her escape. And he soon had his answer. She escaped. However, something far more interesting seemed to be happening. A convergence of teenaged children was occurring. Many stories just so happening to collide in this one spot. He watched them silently, barely noticeable. However, he made a mistake. He didn't watch where his footing was, and a glass bottle was sent dropping. It hit the ground with a crash, breaking apart. So much for stealth. He cursed himself in his thoughts, how could I be so foolish as not to notice that!? It must have been that this whole incident distracted him from the surroundings.

Lexy landed on the ground her feet hitting it with a dull thud, knees bent so that the blow of landing didn't go all the way up her body and break her legs, didn't stop the ground shock though as she was soon standing on one foot hopping around a little while holding her second foot and leg "Ground shock ,ground shock, not nice should have through that through" She said with a groan and in a rather sing song voice, but she didn't seem that hurt or sorry for her bad decision making.
It took Lexy a good few seconds to remember the other girl that she almost landed on, placing her foot down and standing normally as she grinned widely to Roxy "Oh yea almost forgot about you. Hey there, Sorry for almost squishing you, good thing that you were able to move out the way" She chuckled as she spoke before holding out her right hand "The names Lexy, or Lex what ever you want I don't care" she said randomly introducing herself.
It was this moment that the sound of breaking glass hit Lexy's ears, her eyes going wide and her body jerking as the sound of the bottle breaking startled Lex, her head glancing over to the remains of the glass, her Hazel eyes then moving up the building walls to see a boy standing up there "Well thank god it isn't the cops, But I see we have another visitor" She grinned, not that she ever stopped grinning "Hey kid!, Why don't you drop by?" She offered making a joke to how she 'dropped by' "We won't bite, well I won't I'm not sure about her" She jerked a thumb towards Roxy as she joked.

Sol frowned, and narrowed his eyes. He didn't find her joke funny. He jumped down from where he was hiding, in a smooth and dignified manner. He emerged from the shadows. His attire seemed odd, too nice for having been on the streets long. He didn't speak, simply watching them with eyes that showed clear irritation. This person seemed like a loud person, he hated those types. Constantly barging in, trying to be friendly when in actuality it is just rude. They also spoke a lot, constantly yammering about every little thing. He walked over to a dumpster, and wrote his name in the grime. 'Sol' it read his name. He wiped the finger he used to write on the inside of his jacket. Despite his loathing of his assumption of her personality, he was interested in this convergence.

Lexy watched as this well dressed boy made his way out of the shadows over to the grimy wall, she could see the loath he had in in his eyes towards her as well but she didn't mind that "Sol? Cool name" Lexy smiled this time instead of grinning like she was towards Roxy, taking the way that he wrote his name instead of saying it as that he didn't like to speak "You don't talk much do you? Well I won't pry" Her tone seemed to have soften a little as she spoke towards Sol, wanting to pove those eyes of his wrong "But I see those eyes you have towards me Sol, Shouldn't judge people before you get to know them, those people might surprise you" She told him with some wisdom in her tone "And you might already know. But my name is Lexy, or Lex, what ever you prefer"
Lexy then turned back to Roxy as she waited for the other female to introduce herself as Lexy did to her, before being interrupted by the smashing bottle caused by Sol, she was grinning again and looking rather eager, also because she had to get a move on before the police found out where she was hiding. Her item of stolen value snuggled deep in her shoulder bag as she placed her left hand on it, just to make sure it was still there.

Cities, good places to run to. Even if you cant make good brawling money. The hustle and bustle of businessmen going to or from work gives you good cover when trying to hide, and then there's the homeless people like that blue haired violinist playing some tune or another. Corey doesn't care about people that mooch off the successful, beggars and the like. All he cares about is not drawing attention to himself, being below the polices radar. and every so often going to an underground fighting pit for some money for food or a ticket to another city.
Corey checked his wallet. "Yep, still got the money." he muttered to himself. as he looked up he saw a girl running from police up on the roof tops. "What is that girl think she's doing?" again muttering. As she jumped off the building, he dashed into the opposite alleyway she jumped into and watched to see if she could know him. "I don't think so but it has always benefited me to stay in the shadows." he thought. as more people went into that alleyway, he tensed and hoped no one see's him.

Tiffany walked around the city with her hands inside her jean pocket. She was wearing high waisted jean pants a white cropped shirt showing her stomach and some combat boots as they made her way to the city. "Hmmm. What should I dooo?" She noticed some police chasing after a girl. She simply shooked her head and to continued and noticed a small caffe area as she went to it sitting down outside of the caffe looking around.

Roxy rolled her eyes at Lexy's poor attempt at a joke. She might not be much of a people person, but Roxy knew that was a sad attempt at humor. Roxy studied both Sol and Lexy. Neither of them really seemed to be a threat to her. Still Roxy wasn't putting her knife away just yet. Without bothering to introduce herself, Roxy said "Well Lexy you should really be more aware of your environment. Especially if you're going to be stupid enough to be chased by the police. You're going to need a place to hide out for a few days. Make it worth the effort I might tell you of a good place."

"Well excuse me Missy but you shouldn't go around sounding so high and mighty, especially to strangers" Lexy said as she sounded rather displeased, displeased that this younger girl didn't show the same common courtesy that she showed her in introducing herself "And I can handle myself fine, Ever heard of parkour kid? And I am being chased on purpose I know what I am doing, I love the rush that it gives me to be in the hunt I know what I am doing. though now that I'm out of the mood I guess a place to lay low wouldn't hurt. I've got what I aimed to get"
Lexy then glanced to Sol for a moment as she started to think, her Hazel eyes then travelling up and down the alleyway as she felt that there were others watching "If you are going to invite me then why don't you invite all the others here as well then 'girl'? It's only fair for all us street kids" She suggested though she stressed the word 'girl' rather harshly, and would continue to do so until she got a name from miss high and mighty.

Mory observed the now growing number of teens who were converging in that area. It seems that the one little stun had a similar effect of flame to a swarm of moths. The musician realized his hand had grown tired, and when he stopped playing, he looked down at his can. It seems that when he was mindlessly playing, the people were dropping coins left and right. The can was almost full; probably amounting to 5 dollars, give or take. Mory smiled as he looked again at the teens.

"That girl could have died..." Mory mumbled to himself; slumping down. Suddenly, something in his mind triggered a variety of forbidden thoughts.

Died. Died. Died. Die. Die. Die. Hurt. Hurt. Hurt. Pain. Pain

Mory's eyes opened as he realized he was trembling really hard. His breath had gone awry, and his eyesight blurry. Strange thoughts were running into his mind: Killing, torture, massacre... Everything that involved blood and tears.

Mory stood up, grabbing his belongings... Clenching his head as he tried to steady his breathing; he didn't want these memories... Not anymore. He leaned on everything; trees, walls, chairs, people... Memories of the therapy, and of how the loan sharks were chasing him... He couldn't bring himself to remember. The boy stumbled to a cafe where he slumped down a random seat. His blood was still pulsing through his temples; his heartbeat unsteady. Mory looked beside him; seeing a random person, probably a girl. His psychotic trauma broke a little bit as he couldn't stop himself.

"Hey you, between a knife, and a chain, which one would bring a slower death? I mean, a knife would bring incision, but at the same time..." Mory was smiling while saying these things; almost joyous. Suddenly, his eyes adjusted on the person he was babbling to: it was a girl. Mori covered his mouth as he looked horrified.

"I am terribly sorry for what I said! I swear to you, it was not my intention!" Mory stammered. "Please don't return me to the asylum... please.." Mory pleaded; his eyes close to tears.

Sol remained quiet while the others spoke. It didn't matter if he joined this little group that seemed to be forming or not, it wouldn't affect his situation. However, it would be an interesting venture. He decided that he would play along with it, and go with the flow. Plus, if it fell apart he could always disappear. He was very good at that.

"Aren't you cute." Roxy said flashing her knife at the girl. She was familiar with parkor. She had never seen the point of all those fancy moves. But the girl had escaped the police so they apparently worked for her. "Like I said if you make it worth my effort I'll show you a place. Anyone who makes it worth my effort is welcome. Nothing is free especially here on the streets. You want a place to hide Lexy prove it."

Danny stood, hidden, behind a building wall, she was debating whether or not revealing herself would be a good idea. Pro, the girl knows a place to either hide/stay, Con she has knives, pointy and stabby She sighed, even if she revealed herself, She didn't have anything to offer, well unless this chick wanted something set on fire, other then that Danny was pretty useless. After a solid minute of fighting with her head she growled to herself, Oh bugger it. She spun around the corner of the building, walking into the group of people. "All I got is this" She held up the now a quarter full pepsi bottle "Ain't much but its something, unless you're a coke girl, then its sh*t".

Roxy grinned at the girl who offered her what was left of a bottle of Pepsi. Still holding the knife in one hand she waved away the girl away. Roxy studied the other teens gathered round. She knew there were others that she couldn't see. But she was used to being watched by eyes she couldn't see. It used to bother Roxy, but now those hidden eyes gave her comfort. "Thank you little one. I appreciate the gesture. I am willing to accept a little respect. You may call me Roxy. If you would like to come with me I will show you where I have been staying. That was goes for anyone who is interested in coming along. It isn't much but the police haven't bothered me in the 6 months I've been there."

Lex rose her eyebrow when Roxy spoke up after some kid gave her a bottle cap or something, scoffing a little when she offered a place to stay to all those hidden in the shadows"So I have to prove myself but anyone else can just stay without question?" Lexy grumbled under her breath as she crossed her arms and turned her back to Roxy "Talk about inconsiderate or something" She sighed a bit and put her back against the wall, waiting for those who are hidden to show themselves. Lex never did like to get alone with other girls as most of the ones she had come across are up themselves, selfish, and spoilt brats, Roxy only seemed to prove her point...aside from the spoilt part since no street kid was spoilt.

"As I said nothing on the streets is free. Everyone will have to earn their way in the door. I want to do more then survive. I want to thrive. So I am going to build my own gang. A group of kids that help and support each other. Anyone with usual skills is welcome. I have found a place to set up. Anyone interested just needs to be willing to work together to make our lives better." Roxy explained.
