I just noticed this was a problem in a previous RP that I participated in, but it might be different for some. All in all, human behaviour is the final factor in how well these RPs do.

I usually notice that they don't live because a bunch of people will disappear with no word and never return or that you wait forever then poof everyone declares it dead without waiting to see if it really is. It can be a boredom factor or that it is slow to get to the actions but I find that Kyelin is right. It falls on human behavior and the circumstances that life throws the writer. I have been on a short break because my husband had to go to the ER and now need to be watched after. He is better now but it still put me off for a few days and sometimes it is too long for people to wait.

I completely agree, but like I said, without indication on what's going on, I don't know whats happening with everyone, so I just wait until I hear something from them.

I don't need the full story, or a five paragraph message, but something small and saying "you can go on without me" would do wonders haha

I know what you mean. That is why I let you know with a quick message when I was gone and it went on just fine. I wish people would do that and give a little courtesy but oh well. It is what it is.
