Harmonica - Chapter 1

You awake from a Hyperbed originally meant for space travel, who knew they worked. You and others have obviously been taken from their families to Savrix City, you get washed up, and make your way to a stage room by following the guards, there where already people sitting in seats, it was a massive theater like room, you took a seat and waited for the curtains to open, or whatever was going to happen.

Illisthoth put the microphone on his uniform and blinked, he was curious on what to say to the humans, should he tell them.. well he wasn't going to talk to them soon, let them mingle for a bit he ordered as the guards ushered the others to close the doors behind them and leave the theater.
He didn't show himself yet, even know his english accent would give ti way he ushered into the mic "Good evening, I am Illisthoth... I will be speaking to you shortly, for now speak to the other few thousand people inside the theater there is a cafe up the top, there is food later on, enjoy.. you are the 1st group, to be here...we humble your welcome" He hoped they didn't get aggravated they must miss there families already, but they contacted the Savrix colony so we decided to get them sent to us, unnoticed by the tyranny that rules over in the other city,that will best not be named. Illisthoth went into a room where he sat down and read a book, he was still learning about human nature you know.

He was worried about telling them the truth but, he must keep it on for a bit, until he speaks to them.
"They wont believe a thing" he smiled fascinated at this book.

Keit, sat there and heard the message and decided to wander over and sit at the cafe in this large ambiguous theater.

Mira, sat there shyly, wondering if she should approach somone, everyone had weird grey uniforms on at the moment, she was so confused.

Alan moved to the wall. He had to get away from the mass of people. They were probably all backstabbing liars.

Zack studied the crowd. He didn't mind crowds. He enjoyed wachong people. Watching gave him lots of useful information.

Addilyn gulped, why in the world was she here? It was far to much, she felt sick. Instead of ill she was afraid, it was all interesting but at the same time terrifying. Why had they been stolen from their families? Why were they here and who else was here? Were they...experiments? If so where was the creepy scientist who was about to touch her? She shivered at the thought, man would that be horrifying.

Keit saw a girl, who seemed quite frightened, he is the only one who has some thought of why he is here and it's because of what they called "Gifts" back inside the Old City.
He went up to her saying, "Don't worry, I have some idea that they're not gonna hurt us" he smiled telling her to sit down at the cafe he grabbed her a hot chocolate, which was made out of a different coco bean that could be planted inside the tunnels.

"They'll explain everything soon right?" he was trying to calm her down.

Takeshi interacted with the people, kept up his happy-go-lucky attitude. He could see how some people were spreading out, and forming groups, others were just alone, and few were analytical. He didn't seem the type, but as young as Takeshi was, he could understand people's behaviors. Not too far from him, was a guy with glasses and red hair. This guy seemed to be studying the crowd from Takeshi's point of view. After looking around, he noticed something. Everyone seemed to be no more than 20 years old, or at least the people he could see didn't seem older than that.

While Takeshi was looking around, talking with some people, some who were afraid, excited and just didn't care, he spotted a girl shyly sitting down. She appeared confused. Takeshi, getting away from some of the crowd, approached the girl. She seemed a few years older than hi, but that didn't make him shy. "Hey there!" he called excitedly. "My name is Takeshi, Raijin Takeshi. You may call me Ta-kun if you wish. What's your name?" friendly asking the girl. He hoped he didn't scare her or make her angry. His happy-go-lucky attitude has done that before, upon first time meeting people.

Mathew would walk around a bit, not really talking to anyone as he is scared mostly. He wouldn't dare ask any questions fearing that he might get hurt if he tried. He heads over to a wall and huddles up against it, sitting on the ground. He is slightly tearing up being new to everything happening and not knowing what is happening or what will happen.

Addilyn didn't touch the chocolate drink, instead she looked at him as if he were insane and shook her head. "I don't know, stop asking."

Alan was irritated. Why did this strange boy come to his wall? Maybe the boy was coming to make fun of his awkward gait, just like everyone always had . Alan heads over to the cafe. Maybe they'll have something to eat.

Tollank smiled to himself, with all of these people moving around it was quite easy to "see". He reflexively moved his cybernetics, they seemed to have survived the trip with minimal damage, if any at all. Tollank reached in his pocket and produced a small mp3 player, and looked at it longingly. They had let him bring it with him, but they considered headphones a second object. "Jerks." Tollank said softly to himself. Looking around he had a very uneasy feeling, like something wasn't quite right. He needed to make friends, and fast. Safety in numbers, you know? A decent number of people seemed to be heading up to the café, so he followed suit. After a short distance he arrived at his destination, took a seat at a table in the middle of the crowd, and began to take in the sights around him.

Mathew would stay by the wall for some time, then seeing everyone heading to the Café he would get up. He speaks quietly, "I guess I should follow every and not stick out..." slowly but steadily he heads to the café and sits at the counter, looking around at everyone and seems very scared and alone.

Why is that guy still following me, Alan thought. Alan was getting angry now. The boy must've been spying on him.

Zack followed the group to the cafe. He was curious why so many people were gathering together. There was safety in numbers but he wasn't willing to trust just anyone. Trying to stay out of sight he watched the others.

Mira sat there with her knees against her chin, trying not to shed a tear over the fact that she remembers everything of how she was taken.
And how everyone else was, there parents had told Mira about this special place and that it would be safe there for them.
She sat there shy and didn't want to speak she wondered if she'd know what was going on, she was scared.

Keita left Addilyn saying "I'm sorry if I seem weird, but I just want to help.. everyone is overreacting" he went to the theater stage where a microphone stood infront of the curtains.
"Everyone, for the love of the gods... Stop freaking out!" he stood there..
"If Illisthoth or whatever was going to hurt us, he would of already." he stopped..
"So just be social for once, stop being unapproachable, nothing bad will happen to us I'm sure of it. " he contemplated.
"Who here is different?" he asked out of the blue.. "Who here wasn't normal.. from the other kids." he kept talking
"I sure wasn't normal, for instance, I'm smart as hell, my IQ was hitting the roof, as well as me reaction and reflexes, who thinks that's normal? not me? yeah, so who isn't normal?"

Leon practically fell out of his hyperbed when he first awoke, the air being crisp and fresh, an atmosphere worlds different from what he had been breathing however long he had been asleep. He felt heavy, light his bones were filled with lead, the fuzziness in his head reminded him of his first hangover. Back when he was a bit of a fuckwit in secondary school. Back before he really developed his powers, or mutations, whatever they were called. He always joked that he was a mage from the tales of ancient England, however many centuries ago that was supposed to be. "Well," Leon yawned, giving a look around at the row of empty hyperbeds, "Early bird may get the worm, but the late on gets coffee."

Leon's body was slowly waking up. It would've been a quick hell, nearly instant process, but he wasn't feeling the need to fuck around with his magic right now. His prerogative was to find a good drink and, he adjusted his black bowtie that complimented the black vest he wore over his white button up that had a small bloodstain on his cuff, look good in the process. His mind was wandering slightly, not on anything in particular, just on a desperate attempt to remember a line from the song stuck in his head. In his moment of vacancy his shoulder bumped into another person's shoulder, one of the other muties that entered the city via hyperbed. "Oh, crap. Sorry!" He grinned at he short guy, putting a hand on the back of his head while giving the guy a friendly smile and wave. He quickly spun around on his heels, nearing the cafe, and slipped in beginning his search for the liquid crack known as coffee. As he began his search some boy was talking into a microphone about how everyone was different, which really meant in a roundabout way that everyone was normal. Maybe he'd make an appearance on stage to say a few words, Leon mused, dismissing the thought.

Keita, got off stage and noticed an old friend. "Leon? What on Harmonica are you doing here?" (Because they're not on earth)

Aeria was sitting on the far side of the cafeteria, away from everybody. Unlike everybody else, she was calm an composed. If something bad were to happen, all she had to do was face it. She was separated from her family so there was nothing else to lose and everything to gain. Her thoughts were interrupted when a young man went to the theater stage. Curiously, she watched him as he spoke.

"Everyone, for the love of the gods... Stop freaking out!" he stood there.. "If Illisthoth or whatever was going to hurt us, he would of already." he stopped.."So just be social for once, stop being unapproachable, nothing bad will happen to us I'm sure of it. " he contemplated."Who here is different?" he asked out of the blue.. "Who here wasn't normal.. from the other kids." he kept talking"I sure wasn't normal, for instance, I'm smart as hell, my IQ was hitting the roof, as well as me reaction and reflexes, who thinks that's normal? not me? yeah, so who isn't normal?"

The crowd became silent and Aeria sat there observing people's reactions. She was not one to care and if everyone here was worried about their safety, they should stop freaking out and calm themselves down. A calm mind is the key to quick thinking.

"Ya know, stuff." Leon shrugged, not particularly looking towards Keita as he found a warmed pitcher of coffee and a cup which he filled nearly to the brim with a mixture of sugar and cream. "Didja forget," Leon directed towards Keita with a small smile, "I can do magic just like the other boys and girls that got brought into this city." Leon took a long sip from his coffee, "Nice speech. Think I should take my turn?"

Tollank sat at his table awestruck. Some kid was just ballsy enough to get up on stage in front of an assload of people he didn't even know, and actually gave a halfway decent speech. If he did one thing, he was going to befriend that kid. He noticed a particularly dapper young man enter the café, and the boy he was looking for tailing him not far behind. Tollank got up from his seat to move intercept the pair. "Looking snazzy dude!" he said to the well dressed kid, "I can really appreciate the bowtie." He directed his attention to the boy who had given the speech, and extended his cybernetic (right) arm for a handshake. "That took guts kid, good on ya, the name's Tollank. And what might yours be?"
