Justice League Beyond iCheck

Many heroes lost their lives on the fatal day when the Watchtower lost power and fell to Earth. Founding members Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, and the Flash were all killed when the Watchtower fell. Several additional members (The Ray, Mr. Miracle , etc) were also thought to be dead. This left Earth's defenses almost crippled, with only a few heroes standing strong to fight the good fight. While Batman is more of a lone wolf, he is also part of the JLU. The team is still strong and capable but with the dwindling numbers it became increasingly hard to fight crime. The future Batman, Terry McGinnis, was offered a position by Superman, but he decided he wasn't ready just yet. Eventually, he did join the team.

CURRENT ROSTER:

*Superman - An Elder Superman.
*Warhawk - Who is the son of Shayera Al-Hol and Green Lantern John Stewart.
*Aquagirl - Who is the daughter of Aquaman and Mera.
Kai-Ro (Green Lantern) - A Green Lantern in the future GLC.
*Big Barda - An older version of Big Barda, who remains still the same.
Micron - A Member who became injured, which prompted Terry to join.
*Terry McGinnis (Batman Beyond)
*Static - The former Milestone character [much older, early to mid 40's], who used to live in Dakota in the past.
Danica Williams (The Flash) - A young girl who with the help of her predecessor and speed force, becomes The Flash in the Beyond Universe of the DCU.
*Mr. Miracle - An older version of Scott Free, who remains still the same and joins his wife and Justice League after the events in of Konstriction: Hell on Earth & The Mortal Coil.

But shortly before the game begins, the League has been compromised by Brainiac 3.7. Superman, Batman, Barda, Aquagirl, Static, and Warhawk, and Mr. Miracle, as well as several dozen civilians in Metropolis have been infected with a techno virus. Brainiac 3.7...



The young Lantern [who's ring was taken by Brainiac'ed Superman to power his mechanical devices], the shrinking Micron, and the new Flash were the only remaining Leaguers left to activate the Unlimited Protocol. Several new meta-humans, super powered descendants of older heroes, as well as the older heroes themselves were contacted and offered a position in the Justice League Unlimited. You can be an elder version of a modern hero [currently Starfire is being shown in the Beyond/Unlimited universe], a legacy hero, an original, etc... the year is roughly 2040 and everything is as it was in the Batman Beyond cartoon. Bigger cities, huge corporations around every corner, flying cars, and the older Superman without a cape flying around with a Brainiac symbol on his head.

I'm gonna try to yeah, just gotta have more time on here. I'm moving my mom into an apartment today and it's been kinda hectic. Once I reconnect with everybody we'll try and get it going again as well. Probably the old X-Men game too as it was about to get rebooted anyway. Legion was going strong though, sucks the old threads are all gone now...

I'm of the same mind as those two, not only was Legion a good superhero group RP, my character didn't do anything aside from reaching the HQ.

Didn't know there was an X-Men RP as well.

I took over one that was originally made by Lord Wraith, over time co-GM's came and went but we were just about to reboot the game again to get some momentum back. Legion was awesome too, and both games had between 8-12 players. Once more stuff becomes available on the forum we'll get those going again. I'm bummed I can't have my custom avatar...

Likes: Storm Purger is a extremely patriotic American and only doubts his orders when he is certain they are the wrong course of action. He respects those who have a strong sense of duty to one's home nation and to themselves. He likes people who are straight up about how they feel even if they are in conflict with his ideals or his opinions. He loves dogs since he was born he always had a dog near him as they are his perfect and constant companions. He respects those who keep their promises even though he sometimes will not keep his. He likes those who have incredible self control and can take care of themselves. He finds those who are intelligent interesting because he wants to see how they think and react to certain things.

Dislikes: Constantly saving innocent people has gotten on his nerves and at times will not hesitate to put the mission above a single life. He hates those who are willing to sell their loyalty for money finding them a disgrace and is very spiteful towards them. He hates those who abuse their powers for profit and self-gain instead of putting it towards a better goal that betters everyone not just one person. Communism was a huge problem for him during the cold war and he often fought against them giving him a huge hatred for those who are communists to the point where he is unfair and biased.

Habits: He is fond of analyzing an opponent picking out weaknesses and prodding for things he may use to his advantage. He has a habit of thinking to himself be it mentally or out loud. He has a hobby of writing logs about his mission after he is done it. He prays to those he kills or to those who sacrificed themselves as he sees it as an unfortunate loss.

Powers: Aerokentic powers (Tornados, heavy winds, freezing objects, flying using his wind powers requires him to have a constant amount of air in the room and enough space to work. It can suck the air out of a person's lungs (hard to do needs to focus on one specific person and catch them in his wind currents he creates.) Fire attacks can augment his powers turning things into burning blazes of wind or he can suffocate fires by pulling wind away from it and put it out easily. Things made of rock and fire can be frozen by his powers as well. The things he freezes into ice takes a long time to thaw out.

Prototype Super Soldier - Genetically altered to be faster, stronger, and more cunning than a normal human however it being in the early stages he is not significantly trained like say Captain America however he was improved greatly.

Computer Training and Combat Experience/Training - He was trained on how to hack technology be it old or advanced as he was trained to be able to hack alien technology that was found in Roswell New Mexico. He also went through a very rigorous training routine when he was first starting out to give him a sixth sense and is very aware of dangers around him.

Weakness: Electricity can negate most of abilities and shock him. Anything incredibly heavy is beyond his power to lift. Sonic Based weapons and powers give him crippling headaches. Being Paranoid he is normally very tense and weary around people and is slow to trust people. Anything incorporeal he is unable to effect so ghosts and anything not physical in nature is beyond his control.

Personality: Christopher is a calculating and dangerous man with very little ambitions of his own. He can be apathetic and uncaring in certain situations involving the lives of innocents and is always about completing the mission first however he will not hurt innocent people for his own gain or for materialistic reasons. He is often lost in thought but not to the point where he is ignorant of his surroundings being an elite agent has given him a sixth sense of when danger is around him.

He is a very elitist man and dislikes those who are to green or to young to understand the full gravity of war. His opinions of working with people are split while he respects his comrades he is also paranoid giving him doubts about his team mate's ulterior motivations. He likes people who keep their deals, respect their friends and allies as well as their enemies strengths, and are loyal to their ideals.

He hates being thrust suddenly into a situation and hates people who do this to him without forewarning. He finds people who are in it for themselves to be the worst kind of person because they don't share their skills with all of humanity. He thinks of himself as a agent of order and humanity as all he does it to benefit his nation and bring war to an end.

Christopher does not like to kill people but is not above it after he kills a person he often mummers a prayer of salvation to a person's soul. He is not a very religious man but he is a Christian and dislikes those who are godless because they serve no cause higher than their own life however he does not hate them and can sympathize somewhat with them. He is a great believer in science and understands that many things are caused by natural things. He hates ghosts because those who cling to life they refuse to/can't go onto a high path or the lower path if they were that bad.

Bio: Born during the Cold War in a small military base outside of New York he was always destined to be a soldier. His parents however were super heroes in hire by the US government and thus their powers transferred over to him. His father's and mother's powers were of ice and wind respectively and thus he gained some from both of them. He grew up in a very hard environment having to change from military base to military base again and again leaving friends and family behind. He learned from normal teachers and tutors brought in for him specifically and trained to be a soldier by the army commanders at base. He was brought up in a very anti-communist environment having various conflicts going on around the map did not help it either.

Eventually he was picked out, specifically because he was a super hero in training, to become a new special agent for the U.S Government someone without rules or regulations and purely fought for humanity as a whole. He was given a special serum that was altered from earlier designs to make super soldiers which nearly killed him but only ended up making him stronger for it. He gained abilities above the average soldier and nearly instantly made him extremely dangerous man. After getting the serum he was sent to Area 51 to further his training and become America's best weapon against the Soviet Union. His wind powers had fully manifested by this time and he was merely refining his skills. He was shown top secret military technology and weapons as well as alien technology allowing him to learn how to program and hack even advanced security systems.

After all his training was done he was sent on various missions fighting his arch enemy Ice Shard who was able to freeze objects by touching them and form ice in the air and send them hurling at him like projectiles. He eventually defeated Ice Shard before taking him to a maximum security prison. However he had to be put in cyrosleep after one hundred and eighty missions. When he was unthawed recently and brought back to date on the world's progress he was pulled back into Washington DC where he had been given a base underneath the Jefferson Memorial. He stayed there for the majority of the time and was only sent on missions of the upmost importance. After the end of the Cold war which recently ended he was put on the task of ensuring homeland security. He recently decided to join the Justice League in order to further pursue the enemies of the state.

You know I don't mind. This will be a future setting so if you wanted the Supergirl redone we'd have to do some tweaking. Or... if you wanted to use the female Flash, while she's already a member of the JLU I'd be game for letting you use her since she's still a rookie...
