I am hoping the game will be started an over before the end of July, so that would be fine.

And I am leaning on just banning screen-shots. I am still thinking about how I want to do that. It doesn't feel right to ban deception in a Game of Thrones Doubt.

I think it makes sense to ban screenshots, because they're not really deception as they're pretty much proof, if they were accepted use everyone could simply screenshot their role and the killer wouldn't be able to. But yeah, I totally agree that revealing your role if you have nothing but IC posts to back it up with should be allowed, because without that you wouldn't be able to lie about it either. And incentives to not give up your role occur pretty readily. Hope that makes some sort of sense.

You can "copy and paste" the PM that the RD host sends, but anyone could just make up shit and call it a quote.

I like that PM conversations can exist. The most ideal way to do it would be if everyone abides by a "no copy+paste" rule. You could trust most people, but...

Cordi's Hunger Games RD had not just PM conversation but its own IRC channel. So many times people would come in under random names and just screw around with each other. Bela and I used to spend hours trying to decipher clues and figure things out on it.

Though it that game there weren't just roles to discover. You also had to figure out which character (we made character sheets) belonged to which player and THEN which character was which role. That thing was intense.

The matchmaker made the wolf and snake fall in love, and the snake immediately killed the wolf, ending the game.

It wouldn't be as effective in mine because A) less players (12 vs the 24 that we had for HG doubt) and B)Not as many players actively solving stuff around the same time.
