"Listen Ranathia; you have to do this. If you do not, then you will surly die. And if you die, then what will happen to your niece? The girl is already lazy enough when it comes to her duties, what do you think will happen if her only remaining family dies?" Ranathia heard from Mithos which made her ponder what he just said. She said to herself in her mind. Does he really care about me? I have a strange feeling inside my body, but I cannot explain it. Right when she was about to continue thinking to herself a voice resounded to her in her head. The voice was full of warmth which caused the ice cold doubt to finally leave her body and prevent her from being paralyzed by the fear of the own recklessness of the magic. Ranathia allowed the energy to flow like a lightning bolt as she did her best to endure the pain. You could see her cringing face which writhed in severe pain as the dangerous poison inside her body was being expended into the ground.

As the energy got less tense she felt the pain going away. All was going well until a shiny object appeared from her expending that energy out of the ground with strange markings on it. The object that appeared was a shiny spherical orb which looked like it was cracking until it broke where shards of light shot off in various directions. No one really knew what happened, but the orb shattering caused Ranathia to collapse. Her pulse was checked and it was quite normal. Though no one could explain what just happened a moment ago. The man who taught her the magic did not say a word about what happened even though he didn't seem to like it by the unhappy look on his face. The housemaids carried Ranathia off back to her bed."If you really care about her." He said to Mithos in the distance as he disappeared into the shadows which swallowed him into the darkness. "Then you will help her find herself. It is obvious you care about her. She will not be herself and it is your duty to protect her and make sure that she regains what she just lost. Do not worry about what happened. It was expected to happen. That is all I can say. Please do not leave her side, okay?" Those were his finally words as no other words could be heard as the man was gone with no trace of him around anymore.

'Wonderful. Now I have to babysit her as well.' Mithos disliked a great many things. Most of these amounted to petty annoyances, but some really drove him nuts. One of those being people pretending to know him. 'And just why is he so convinced that I have feeling for her!? I suppose it would not be so bad...if he was not trying to convince me of that.' Mithos held back a growl of anger, as he maintained his stoic expression. Turning to the housemaids, he told them "watch her in my place for a little bit, I have a few things to collect first. Once he was out of her room, he let his emotions bleed out onto his face in a mask of rage 'why, why!? Why has everything gone so horribly wrong for me ever since I stepped foot in this kingdom!? I have acted the same, approached everything in the same analytical manner that I always have. So why is my life turning to ash before me!?' He soon reached his room. Once there, he grabbed his book, as well as a few others he had yet to read. That done, he returned to Ranathia's room. Before entering, he took a few moments to compose himself 'calm yourself Mithos. Those poor women in there have not done a thing to you. So do not let them get caught up in your anger.' Once his emotional mask was back in place, he entered. "I have completed my errand. You may return to your duties now" he told them. Once they left, he pulled up a chair next to her bed, and resumed where he had left off in his book.

While Squall was talking about the principles of magic, fragments of an object that came out of Ranathia had shattered being shot into the sky toward space and soaring to unknown regions. Unfortunately, one of the trajectories was the school in which he was teaching. The students for the most part were paying attention to their teacher while some others were giving him funny faces and a few others mocking him. Sentius just looked on like he didn't care at all in the world. Just as he was about to quell the annoyance of the delinquents behind him Meira sensed something about to fall in their direction where she turned her head toward the window and said, "What is that? It's like a shooting star headed this direction. The students were about to jump up and immediately exit the room in fear of a collision, but the object made a huge explosion several meters away from their classroom, but the impact was strong enough to shatter the windows where they covered their eyes to avoid the glass fragments flowing into the air from the magnitude of the blast. One of the students jumped up and questioned toward Squall when the dust cleared, "Mr. Squall, do you have any idea what just happened?" He said with concern embracing his eyes.

Squall seemed to simply ignore the sudden blast of magical energy, he was able to quickly tell that it was coming, and that it posed no danger to the school. "It would appear to be mostly a blast of raw, uncontrolled magic, possibly surrounding a piece of material. It happens more than it needs to, mostly due to either petty brawls or a lack of a proper magical education. However, the school has defense mechanisms to protect us from the inside and outside. A direct hit to this classroom would leave those close to the impact site with a moderate chance of death, and everyone else would only have a slight chance of death." his tone deadly serious all the way through, even towards the end, making it hard to tell if he was joking.

"Now, does anyone in the classroom or outside of the classroom want to disrupt my classroom some more, or may we continue." he said, with a lighter tone, but his he was quite frustrated.

Much like the majority of the students, Alice had put her attention outside and wondered what happened. Although Squall's explanation had prevented the students from panicking, it did little on actually calming them down and they had started to whisper among themselves on the cause of the explosion. Among them, they all could hear the mention of which seniors were fighting.

Alice and Annenis were whispering before Alice turned towards Meira, "Miss Meira, do you know what just exploded? You're the one that saw it first."

'Would it be too much to hope that it's some sort of attack? That would let me get out of class...right?' Nathan wondered, feeling bored out of him mind. 'Eh, it probably would be. I mean, someone could get badly hurt if we were attacked. I doubt more then a handful of the students could handle themselves in a real fight, despite how they carry themselves. Although that just begs the question; what was that explosion?' It was starting to look like this wouldn't provide Nathan with an excuse to leave class, which he was naturally a little disappointed about

When the dust cleared, both Meira and Reala's hands had a glow to them where a strange rune like figured appeared. The entire class was baffled by the strange glow that their hands were giving off. Meira looked down at her hand and touched the glow and noticed a certain warmth to that glow then she thought she could hear Ranathia's voice nearby? But how was that even possible? Last she knew Ranathia had gone to some ruins and left them all behind. Reala also noticed Ranathia's voice, but she tried to contain her surprise as she didn't want to cause an unnecessary incident during their class.

Alice and Annenis were whispering before Alice turned towards Meira, "Miss Meira, do you know what just exploded? You're the one that saw it first."

"I don't really have an answer." Meira paused as she turned her attention toward Alice and Annenis, but she gave them a widened smile letting them know that it wasn't anything particularly dangerous that had crashed into the ground. Something inside her told her it wasn't though it didn't really give any indication to where the strange object had come from in the first place.

The two turned to look where Sentius was sitting and he was gone. He had disappeared like a shot without anyone noticing that he was gone. Before anyone knew Sentius had already gone outside, but no one knew how he got there so fast. He didn't even get up from his desk and no one saw him leave the room. Right when they were occupied by the crash landing of the object Meira noticed a disturbance around where Sentius was sitting. She wondered to herself if he had used his technique that is unique to him to get outside without anyone ever noticing he had left.

Sentius walked over toward the strange object and began examining it. He noticed a familiarity about it though he couldn't quite place his finger onto it until he heard a voice come from. When he heard the voice he was struck with surprise since the voice coming from it was none other than Ranathia. He had met before, but it was a long time ago. Judging by the serious look on his face you could tell that Sentius knew exactly what had just happened after he analyzed the object. He looked at the ground observing the object as he thought to himself. "This is a part of Ranathia. It's a part of her memory that has been separated from her body, but how did it get separated and did her Memoria Matrix shatter just like glass?" He paused for a moment as he cupped the object into his hand looking at it more closely. "I must return this to her. She probably isn't herself at all and that foolish brother of hers hasn't been looking out for her! How could he allow this happen!"

One of the students that noticed that Sentius had just left the room without saying a word or getting permission turned his attention toward the teacher asking him, "Mr. Squall, that mean looking silver haired guy left the room without even asking? Isn't that against the regulations of this academy?"

Squall sighed, he wanted to simply forget the explosion and the silver-haired person, however he couldn't allow his stubbornness place the students in harm if it came to that. He waved his hand over the board, and what were apparent notes appeared, "I do not care how you learn this, but learn it. There will be quiz on it tomorrow. While I am gone, stay in your seats. If anyone else leaves the classroom, they will be expelled." he then turned his head to kid that apparently did not want to be hear, and addressed him directly, "While usually I would glad expel a person like you, I have more important things to tend to, and if you leave this room, I will think of something far worst than being kicked out of this school, and you will not get the excuse of not showing up here." he said, angry but clearly not at the student he was talking to. "Now, if you would excuse me."

Perhaps unexpectedly, or perhaps not, he teleported out of the classroom and towards the obvious cause of all this mess, the nearby site of the explosion, whenever he got there, he recognized the person from the classroom who clearly was not an actual student, though this did confirm it since what used to get out of class was way more advanced than simply teleporting, which was already quite advanced.

He turned his head towards the silver-haired person, "What are you doing here, and what was you doing in my classroom. You clearly was not, nor are a student."

Nathan mentally readied himself for battle 'I WAS JUST KIDDING WORLD!' In his experience; explosions and people teleporting around were never a good sign 'please don't tell me this is some sort of assassination attempt. If it is, then I have to admit; it's the strangest looking one I've ever seen by far.' So far, it was just the silver haired guy...or at least that was the only person he could see that was obviously involved 'some of the students could be involved. Or maybe some of his associates replaced them. I have no way of knowing which it is, or how many. Only that we could suddenly find ourselves surrounded. I'm sure I could at least punch a hole through to safety, but I still don't like where this is going' Without being obvious, Nathan began to sweep his eyes over the students, keeping a look out for anything strange.

Sentius saw that Squall had approached him where he turned his head to face him. He took the fragment he found on the ground from the wreckage and pocketed it. Afterward he turned one of his eyes toward the classroom to make sure Meira and Reala were both safe before he turned that eye back on Squall facing him face to face.

He noticed Squall had become very suspicious of his behavior when he listened to the man confront him with, "What are you doing here, and what was you doing in my classroom. You clearly was not, nor are a student."

Sentius closed his eyes and gave off a light sigh where he knew he would have to reveal some of his motives to get this person from becoming suspicious about him. He started off by answering the first part of his question which was addressed to him as what was his purpose in enrolling in the school in the first place. "I am acting as a vanguard to protect two of your students from a dangerous and very sinister force."

He paused for a moment as he turned his eyes toward the two girls he was talking about before he continued with what he was about to say. "Let me warn you that both your students Meira and Reala have both been targeted by a man who runs a terrorist organization by the name of Alkmaar. His motives to me are clear which those two girls are essential toward his Perfect Unification Plan or PUP which I have no intention of participating in. You have two options. You can either trust me and help me safeguard those two girls from this threat since I have two of the other pieces he needs in my possession that I am watching over or you can choose to become my enemy. I have no intention of harming your students and I will adhere to any punishment you deem necessary for interrupting your class." He concluded as he turned his back toward Squall and began to walk back toward the doors that lead him into the classroom, but turned to face Squall one last time to see if he had anything further to say.

Reala noticed Sentius said the name Alkmaar when she was reading the movement of his lips. She thought to herself as she looked over toward Meira then Nathan. After that she turned her eyes toward Danny and last Annenis and then Alice to see what their reactions were toward the situation. Alice and Annenis looked on in confusion which was typical and Danny looked the same way to her, but she noticed Nathan was acting all strange for some reason. Her eyes were filled with suspicion when he started to be on guard for no apparent reason like he was paranoid. To her, he looked like someone was out to get him which made her give off a long sigh in direction. "Relax you dolt, it was just an unidentifiable object that crashed landed. It's nothing that isn't natural and you act like as if it was a ploy of some kind by some unknown enemy. So naive..."

"Reala, can't you try to be nice and get along with Nathan?" Meira questioned as she soon let her voice be heard after hearing the insults Reala poked toward Nathan. She didn't understand why her sister was acting like Nathan was some sort of enemy of hers. If it was over what happened earlier she just needed to let that go already. What had happened was already history now and there was no point on mulling over it.

Reala ignored what Meira said as she turned her eyes and peered down at Alice. She then spoke in a much softer and more polite toward Alice asking, "Is everything okay, Alice? There is no need to be scared since all it was is an unidentifiable object that poses no direct that which crashed into the ground outside our classroom."

"PUP, I wished I was correct in believing it to be a falsehood." he muttered under his breath, quite disturbed by its mere mention. He then seemed to light up slightly, though possibly just to mask his deeper emotions, "Punish you? You are not in my class, by what authority could I punish you. With your power, if you wished harmed upon my students, you would have already inflicted it and their would be nothing I could do about it, considering you appear to either have very potent spacial or temporal manipulation skills, so I see no reason to bar you from my class." He then cracked a slight joke, "Anyways, independent study is always good for students."

He then teleported back to his classroom, not wanting to waste his time. He noticed that his class still seemed to be worry about the object. "I do not care if you count to study or not, however allow me to give you a demonstration about both the lesson and a very possible explanation about the phenomenon we have seen.

He touched his hand on the desk and magic flowed from his hand making a moderately sized circle in comparison to the desk. He then took a pencil and placed it within the circle. "What you are about to see is known as Overload magic, one of the magic types we are studying. As you should know, Overload magic is the technique of filling more magic into an object than it can hold normally. One of the simplest forms of this is to simply apply magic directly and keep applying it even after you are meet with resistance from the magic already within object. You will be able to observe the results." he said with a grin.

He then placed his hand over the pencil, those magically attuned could feel magic being transferred between the two. After a few moments, the pencil seemed to start to rumble and give off a slight glow, and a few moments after that, there was a noise as the pencil basically exploded. The shards of graphite and wood were stopped by a barrier he placed down as denoted by the circle.

He then smiled, "Is there any questions about the lesson or the demonstration."

Nathan just brushed off Reala's insult with a sigh "eh, it's fine; I'm used to people hating me on principle. If anything, I find her blatant hostility kind of nice; it's something familiar for me." It also helped that he felt she was pretty bad at insulting people, he had heard far worse verbal barbs in his life. However, his attention was quickly caught when the teacher did something very familiar to him 'what the hell!? Did...did he just do what I think he did? I thought that was my trick. Are you telling me that it's something that lots of people know how to do? That's...disappointing' So a trick that he had developed in a moment of sheer desperation was in fact, not unique. That was a blow to his already fragile ego. Although, there wasn't any imminent danger, so at least there was that.

"Ah, if you're sure..." Alice replied to Reala, a bit surprised that the Meira look-a-like spoke to her, especially without the heated tone she seemed to use on everyone else, particularly Nathan. "It's just... not something that happened often."

"Yes, even when the seniors got into a fight they usually didn't get past the barrier," Annenis added. "That something impacted the barrier and still have enough force to shatter the windows was unheard of. I do sincerely hope it's not another attack."

They listened to Meira and Reala's reply, with Alice giving Nathan a sad look and Annenis a pitying headshake after hearing his comment. The two girls turned their attention to the front when Squall returned and demonstrated his magic. Alice looked towards the board, looking for mentions of Overload magic among the words written on it. Meanwhile, Annenis looked at the exploded pencil and the broken windows before rising her arm.

"Sir, the blast from the object was a lot more powerful than the pencil's. Are there other variables that affect the result of the magic beyond the object's magical threshold? And how would we be sure that we wouldn't burn ourselves out from trying to use Overload magic?"

"I am bound to the rules of this environment just like everyone else." Those were Sentius surprising words as he walked away from Squall and back toward the doors of the school. He surveyed the area as he walked back toward the doors. There was no physical damage to the area aside from that crater created by the shard that just had impacted the ground. Just as he we was about to open the doors he noticed someone in the area then a familiar voice speak to him where he reached down to materialize his weapon into his hand.

"Never thought I'd see you..." Before the face could finish that statement Sentius drew his large katana and charged the individual where that individual also drew his scythe and the two clashed their weapons letting off a shockwave that could be felt inside the school. Most of the individuals thought it was just a slight tremor where they returned to their usual activities, but Meira and Reala both knew that was no simple tremor.

"This is some way to greet someone who you haven't seen in years." The man said as was still engaged in a weapon lock power struggle with Sentius. He noticed that Sentius eyes were shifted into a serious nature, but Sentius did not say a word. "Do not speak as if you've been forgiven for your sins because you haven't!" Sentius said as his eyes burned with rage which knocked back the other individual where they planted their weapon into the ground to prevent them from flying into something behind them. "You betrayed me and gave that program a mind of its own without my consent. You knew this would exactly happen since all you wanted to do was prove that you were better than me at magic. You and that damned fool Eidison..." He paused for a moment after he stressed Eidison's name in a tone that was was lit with rage. "Don't you dare speak to me casually like I have forgotten about your treachery!"

"Whoa cool!" One of the students said as he turned his attention toward the fight outside. He seemed to be more interested in the fight that had erupted rather than Squall's speech.

'...Really?' Nathan resisted the urge to facepalm 'am I the only one still worried about the guy who teleported in here? I mean, who even does that!? This is a classroom for crying out loud!' At this point however, he did sigh 'I'm starting to understand how the attack last month could have happened, if the people here just brush off things like that.' He took a quick look around the classroom '...yeah, it looks like everyone else has just gone back to the lesson. What the hell? Why haven't the authorities been called!?' It was then that a thought came to him "do these people really believe that nothing can hurt them?" it was a mentality that he wasn't unfamiliar with 'even after what happened last month?'

Squall quickly turned to the student with questions, "Yes, Overload magic is much more complex than magical threshold, though magical threshold is the core of it. There is also threshold elasticity, threshold growth, and magical stability, the properties of the material in use, and we have not even started to talk about systems in overload magic, which are two or more objects made of different materials which freely shared magic energies between all parts, and equal systems and unequal systems. As for your other question, it is a process of knowing the magical threshold of an object, as well as related variables, and knowing how much magic you have left. Overload magic may seem simple at first, but requires a good eye for magic, a good control over your magic, and a a good tank of magic. You also must have cost-benefit analyze skills to know when overload magic would be better or another form of magic would be better, but all types of spellcasters can benefit from that skill." He said, very clearly but also very quickly.

He then decided that he should do something about the fight outside. A grin came across his face. He reached into his pocket, and teleported what he grabbed from there down near where they was fighting. From a distance, it was really hard to make out. But those that could, it was a silver necklace with a decoration at the end which looked like a tree growing into a book.

Meanwhile back at Meira's manor, Ranathia laid in bed soundly asleep as the rest of the people inside the household were working on their activities inside the manor. When Ranathia opened her eyes she rose slowly from the dream she was just in. She looked around confused about where she was. She planted her feet on the floor and stood up as she surveyed the room. She wasn't even aware she was dressed in her undergarments as she looked around the room. She opened the door and stepped into the next room noticing a blonde haired man was working on something.

The first words to come from her mouth were, "Where am I? Who am I? What just happened to me?" Who are you? Why am I here? She stated toward the blonde haired man who was probably quite disturbed to see that Ranathia wasn't properly dressed when she left her room. It was obvious that she was certainly a different person from what people remembered her from.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sentius looked around then noticed that the two were being watched and that a few students were peering out the window. He decided to return his sword back to its sheathe as the figure who approached him put away their scythe. The two had come to the acknowledgement that this was probably not the best time to be starting a confrontation. Neither of the two looked like they wanted to get the students involved in the fight or have someone get hurt who was innocent due to their own apparent recklessness.

"We will settle this another time. Now is not the time or place for starting a dispute." Sentius said in a more casual tone toward the other figure as he turned his back toward him and made his way back into the school building. The man called out asking Sentius to wait since he wanted to ask him something, but Sentius ignored him as he walked into the doors and out of sight. He grabbed his hand which looked like it had a wound on it and was bleeding though he certainly did not think much of it and ignored it.

The other figure turned around then mulled toward himself quietly as he began to walk away from the scene. You still haven't forgotten about that, have you? I wish you would since I have changed ever since we last met. Why do you continue to hold that same old grudge toward me as you did in the past? Those were his last thoughts as he disappeared out of sight.

Back inside the classroom Meira was having a hard time staying awake in class. She wanted to fall asleep because Squall's lectures were so damn boring but if she did that it just might get her into more trouble. She could only sigh as she looked at everyone else noticing they were paying attention to the teacher. Well, most of the students aside from the delinquents who were goofing off spaced out in their own fantasy worlds. She looked over toward Reala noticing she was taking notes and even she was paying close attention.

Reala was a person that Meira both envied and loved at the same time. Her sister was so intelligent and decisive regardless of her reckless nature which put her well-being in harm's way. But still she had all the qualities one could find in a leader and yet Meira couldn't find anything useful toward her from this class. She was about to finally fall asleep from the boredom where she heard the bell had rung and students flew out of their seats heading toward the door rather than letting Squall tell them that he dismissed them from the room and not the bell.

Mithos sighed at the sight of her "perhaps you had best put on some clothes before we have this discussion" he told her. Even in her current state, he found it surprising that she would leave her room with only her underwear on. 'She is either going to make my life a lot more complicated, or become much easier to be around. Although knowing my luck, it's obvious which one it will be.' Returning to his book, Mithos waited for her to get some clothes on 'I can only hopes she does. Otherwise, it may lead to trouble for me if anyone were to walk in on us'

---

Those two strange people had finally left 'It's about time. What did they want here in the first place? Torn between wanting to find out the truth, and not wanting to get too involved, Nathan simply remained in his seat 'It's not like I have a good enough excuse to leave class after all.' So all he could do was wait for class to end 'although...I really have no idea where I would start investigating. Huh, guess there really isn't anything I can do.'

Ranathia looked down then started to turn bright red from the embarrassment of not realizing she had just walked out of her room not properly dressed. She immediately returned to her room and sorted through the clothes. Strangely she went through them all and saw none that she liked. She had one of the hand maidens fetch something from Meira's room. The hand maiden didn't quit understand why she wanted what she was asking for, but returned to her with some fancy looking clothes and with the insignia EP on them. She put on a very long dress that stretched down to her ankles and put on a pair of light blue high heels. She also put a tiara on her head which lettered EP. When she was done getting herself ready she walked out of the room in very fancy clothes that rich officials would wear. "Why am I in the Standard Dimension and where is this place I am at?" She paused for a moment as she stepped out of her room before closing the door with her scepter at her side.

"I'm sorry for my lack of manners since I'm very confused, allow me to introduce myself properly, I am the Erewhon Pavilion chieftain leader Princess Xeiyenreisha Wurzhan'dreis Vandesleiva'Reizure. You may just address me as Xei. I am a proud member of the Vandesleiva'Reizure family and the last descendant of the family. I am on an inter-dimensional mission to prevent your dimension from meeting the same fate as the dimension I was born from known as the Elan Dimension." She paused for a moment as she walked over and took a seat in one of the chairs. When she did so, she noticed one of the hand maidens mentioned the name Ranathia. She didn't know who exactly that was, but she felt a vibe from Mithos that felt familiar. "Who is this Ranathia you speak of?" She questioned toward Mithos as her old memories had finally resurfaced. This person didn't act like Ranathia at all. It was a completely different person from Ranathia. It was obvious that the person in front of them had to be some sort of high ranking noble but they couldn't place the finger on it.

'...Just what insanity have I gotten myself involved in?' Mithos resisted the urge to facepalm "Ranathia is the name you went by before you got sick and woke up like...this." He begun to explain "You'll forgive if I have a hard time taking what you said at face value. The Ranathia I knew hated me with a passion that she was very good at hiding, so it is possible that this is some sort of elaborate trick. There is also the fact that...something...happened to your mind, that left you in a deathly state, so it is very possible that you woke up not quite sane. My life has been spiraling out of control in recent times, so I suppose I am just hoping that what you said is not true."
