Don't be too intimidated, you don't have to have a super long CS if you don't want to.

Those rammers, always ruining our bombers' days. As much as I try to stop them, I've learned the hard way that you generally shouldn't shoot cannons at a plane in close proximity to your allies...

Anyways:
A character owning plane in an adventure RP? Glorious!
I'll try to get a post up soon.

For the very wealthiest? THEY FLY.For nobles? The ironclad ships of today.Everyone else? 1600's era boats.

Thanks for the clarification. Seeing Castiel's background he is just fine with one of those massive ironclad ships. Edited the post to reflect that. :)

No, look at the picture...See the thing I have circled? That's a turret-mounted .50 caliber machinegun that fits a whole person in the bubble. That behemoth can fit at least two tanks in it. If I had to guess, I'd say that it's a bomber. You can have anything with space in the cockpit roughly equivalent to a two-door sedan, not an ounce more. I mean, one of us is starting with knives and bags of ash, I'll let you get away with a plane, just like I let another guy get away with an artillery piece, but no 'mobile home' sized planes, good god the potential for airdropping angry demons is ridiculous.

And if you may have read before, I said it is a slightly smaller size of the PBY Catilina and the image provided is suppose to be the style of the aircraft, not actual size. Here's the quote:

I see someone likes Team Four Star's "Attack on Titan" Abridged ;)Hmmm.... well its not supposed to be super big. Just something doubles as a home of sorts as well. Like... it would be close to the size of PBY Catalina if you know what that is. I mean that's actually not a very big plane (Saw one in person once, the camera really does add the pounds XD)Actually, what I have in mind is a bit smaller than that, more like it could only comfortably fit two people if you get what I'm saying. That image provided is the style I'm going for, not necessarily the size.

See? I don't have or had any intention to be a gigantic plane that can transport tanks if it wanted to. I just liked the style of the plane.

So pretty much "Not to Scale" model of that plane. Looks cool, certainly.

then... then why not just take a Catalina? Alright, fair enough. Put her in the bin (link in first post).

Alright, now if we could just get a bit more magic here, tech's a bit too predominant right now. Also, we need a light and an earth, and then we'll have all the pokemanz.

Short note; low level magic is ridiculously easy to learn, in fact a simple spell that makes a flame on par with a lighter only really takes a couple of days to learn. So, it's not all that ridiculous to expect that everyone knows some basic magic, save the Orc. :P

Cause fantasy planes in a fantasy world are way cooler! So any particular group or character near a port town or something?

Everyone's going to the desert city of Rosa (which is a port) to join a mercenary guild there.

I bothered drawing up such a large map as you'll get shipped out all over the place taking jobs, the HQ is just in Rosa, though don't expect to go anywhere for a little while.

Perfect! My character is already a traveling mercenary, so it would only be natural for her to see what this guild is all about!

Avans could probably be how Dena, who lives in sunny and beautiful IGNIS, managed to get to Rosa despite being dirt poor and a target of discrimination. Only if you wish, of course.

...Unless I happen to be ninja'd. In which case, I'll have to actually work and explain why a demon from IGNIS is somehow in a Terran city.

Boats, portals, nuclear catapult, it's all good. Demons and whatnot are only really discriminated against to the point of inconvenience in NOVA, it's unlikely that anyone would refuse to sell her a ferry ticket. That said, nobody's gonna be comfortable around her.

I'm for the idea. Maybe Katherine was stopping by a port in Ignis on her way to Terra to get some supplies and over heard the demon trying to get a ride to the city she was heading for. something like: "I could take you to Rose... for a price of course ;)" but it would be significantly cheaper than trying to get a ride on a ferry. And hey, maybe they bonded a little on their trip or something since even for a plane that would be a good couple of days of flying.
