I was just happy to see Asha/Yara again. The speech was great but trials on television tend to be a bit pretentious -- we're forgetting how amazing Reek was last night.

What? Unless you typed the wrong name for one of those, that makes zero sense.

Daario has been off in Essos since he first appeared in A Storm of Swords and was still over there in A Dance with Dragons.

Euron also showed up in A Storm of Swords, but over on the other side of the damn world, specifically on Pyke. He's still there as of A Dance with Dragons.

I've never heard of that theory, and it makes no sense at all to me. Do you remember the specifics or where you read it? I wanna know what the hell people are looking at to come to these nonsense conclusion.

I didn't believe the theory when I read it, but I do think it's kinda amusing to read and interesting someone is looking at it like that.

Well fuck me, that actually could fit. I completely forgot about Daario taking off for multiple chapters from Dany's perspective.

For those other theories, I've never heard the one for Jorah being AA. I've heard some fairly convincing arguments for Dany (courtesy of Maester Aemon), Jon, or Victarion being AA though.

The Night King one seems neat, but again I've never heard of it.

The Others not being evil is one of my favorites. I like the idea of the horrifying monsters actually not being bad guys.

Jon warging into Wun Wun wouldn't make his body not get stabbed though. Like that other warg guy who peaced it into his bird, his body still got wrecked and it was still dead. Dunno what the logic for this theory is either.

But CleganeBowl, fuck yeah. I hope it happens, because if it doesn't I'm gonna be super disappointed.

Reading into the Great Northern Conspiracy now. I've seen some bits and pieces of it before, but the whole thing put together is intriguing.

I should really take part in fan community stuff for this shit. I'm apparently missing out on a lot of cool ideas.

I've only recently delved deep into the fan theories. A lot of them I find on r/asoiaf. There's the ones that are completely ridiculous (Stannis is actually a giant praying mantis) but they're a lot of fun to read an imagine.

The theory about Jon isn't that he wargs into Wun Wun to protect himself. That was my bad on the phrasing. What the theory states is that Jon accidentally wargs into Wun Wun when trying to calm him, not knowing that he actually wargs into him. Then while he's inside Wun Wun, Wun Wun gets attacked by the Stewards of the Night's Watch. So the stewards are actually stabbing Wun Wun and not Jon. I don't believe it, but it's a cool idea.

Here is Jorah being AA as a theory

Again, interesting, but not entirely sure if it'll happen.

I'll try to find the one about Stannis being the Night King. It's pretty reliant on the Great Northern Conspiracy though.

That Jorah theory... Hrm. I think other theories, like all three of the ones I listed in my last post, are more believable than that one given current circumstances. I could maybe see it happening if Jorah arises as AA only after Dany has taken her army and dragons off to fuck up the Others, but before then? Everything for Dany's story and the stuff north of the Wall has seemed to me to be leading up to a dragons vs. Others clash, and the stuff said about the horn that can control the dragons seems to also point to Dany needing to be the one to blow it ("no mortal man" can survive blowing it, which can be subverted by "lel imma gurl" shit, or for a less shitty explanation there's the whole thing where the guy who blew it died via his innards being burnt to a crisp, but Dany is immune to fire so she could do it). That makes me pretty sure that she'll survive at least long enough to do that, but I could see her getting murderized afterward.

So yeah, it could be Jorah I guess, but if it is I don't think it'll be revealed until the final clash with the Others.

I don't believe the theory because my favorite theory relies on Jon being AA. However, in regards to what you were saying about the Dragon Horn:

I forgot where, but the other day there was a George RR Martin interview where he mentions that Dany isn't actually fireproof. The whole "unburnt" part of her birthing the dragons is in large part due to the blood magic sacrifice of Mirra Maaz Durr and Drogo. Also I can't imagine Martin falling back on the whole "But I'm no man" bullshit. He constantly takes fantasy tropes and smashes them against the wall. I would be dissapointed if he did some contrived, well trodden plot twist like that.

Yeah, I agree that he probably wouldn't go for that kind of nonsense.

But the not fireproof thing? Ehhhh, even though it supposedly comes from GRRM, only mentioning that one incident of surviving fire is kind of shady to me. She's had a couple other things that point to her being either immune to or highly resistant to fire and heat. First there was that super hot bath before she was wed to Drogo, where the servants were all like "omg no, way too hot" but she got in and didn't give a fuck. Then there was the time she put her dragon eggs on the fire and was able to hold them without being burned, whereas one of her servant girls pulled it away from her and had scorched hands. Maybe she's not straight up immune to fire, but all signs point to her having some kind of magical resistance to it.
