[IC] Young Justice

Cadmus:
Everything is fine, but then a fire starts in a lab, soon there are fire trucks everywhere, and no one came inside.

Hall of Justice:
Heroes wait for the new sidekicks to come, all waiting in the lobby, tourists taking pictures and waiting to see the heroes & their sidekicks.

[Charlie]

The first to arrive is Robin. Being trained under Batman, made him punctual in every circumstance. By a nod from his mentor he sits down, in one of the chairs, making little to no noise doing so.

[Zerofighter]

Kane ran and began taking the heat energy from the flames causing them to die out. He went to stop more fires. He tried to think what his hero would do. Even though he was made to defeat his hero, Kane still saw him as his idol.

(Zero, we are in the Sub Levels)

[Yog Sothoth]

Walt swoop down towards the entrance to the Hall of Justice as a bald eagle and upon landing on the ground, he shape-shifted back into his human form to quickly head into the head quarters of the Justice League. His mentor Animal Man fallowed close behind, and normally Walt would have let Animal Man take the lead but he was too excited for some of his formalities.

"Remember Walt, try to not let your wild personality get the better of you" his mentor told him, and Walt quickly nodded. Even if he did try to not act looney, Walt would probably fail at the attempt and he was too excited for getting to be a part of a team heroes around his age. He walked into the building and noticed Robin who was the famous sidekick of Batman. He moved over to Robin and smiled.

"Hello, the name's Shifter and as the name implies, I can turn into tons of different thing" he said to the Boy Wonder, and as he was speaking he transformed into several different things such as a tiger, then a refrigerator and finally Batman. Even though he looked exactly like the Dark Knight, Walt had none of the hero's incredible skills.

"Do you think a billionaire who saw his parents die and dresses up as a giant bat to go around and beat up criminal is completely sane?" He then turned back into his normal form and laughed, he hoped that Robin liked his jokey personality.

[Charlie]

"Nice to meet you, Shift." Robin says as he watches Shifter change. Then Shifter mentions Batman, "Yeah... He might not think it but he's probably as insane as two face... or penguin. But, Hey, I wouldn't want to see anyone who was sane after seeing what he saw." He sits up more, "But it's what gives him the drive to fight another day. And thats pretty awesome." Robin says, he knows how Batman felt. "So, Whats your back story, Shift?"

[Yog Sothoth]

"Nothing too special, I just was a kid who loved cartoons and one day, my school had us go on a field trip to one of the studios that made funny cartoons. While we were having a tour of the place, a thunderstorm started up and i had been carrying a jar of a special type ink when a lightning bolt struck the jar and I was doused in it and electrocuted. After I was allowed to leave the hospital I discovered these incredible powers I had and then rest you can say is the usual hero business, team up with Animal Man and take it to the bad guys" Walt answered Robin's question. Compared to other heroes, his origin wasn't a very tragic one and his reason for hero work was just more about having fun and using his powers for a good cause.

"So what about you? what's your story?" he asked the Boy Wonder curious.

[Charlie]

"Before I was Robin, I was part of the Circus group the 'Flying Graysons' at Haly's Circus. But there was an accident with the trapeze, my uncle and I were the only survivors. My uncle was unable to care for me and Batman adopted me, the rest is history." He says as puts his hands on his head and exhales sharply. "If it weren't for Bru- Batman, I wouldn't be here. Now we're going to be heroes, not just sidekicks. And that is Awesome." Robin finishes, with a light smile.

Kane waited for them to return. Today they had him absorb different forms of energy and see if he could mix them. He had trouble at doing it at first but did it after two or three tries. He laid back, looking at the cinng and began thinking.

Hall of Justice:
Batman walks over and opens the doors, and leads the young heroes inside "More shall be here soon, however a problem has arose, a laboratory called Cadmus Labs has mysteriously set on fire, but we are needed to help against a ground of villains trying to destroy our sun...so stay here."
Batman and the others walk over to a metal door like thing, slowly it says a letter, number, and name, before they disappear in a flash of light, slowly leaving the room so that it's only the two sidekicks, and hopefully the others will arrive soon.

Cadmus:
Dubbilex stands, waiting for the heroes, he needs to show them something. Slowly the fire trucks begin to spray water...but that will not help...

Cyborg and Selia entered the room, but as soon as they did Cyborg had to leave, he promised his daughter he would be back soon and went with Batman and the others through the door.

Selia looked around, her eyes wandering and traveling over the others as she took off the sweater that concealed her cybernetics and set it aside. Walking over to the Boy Wonder she sat down silently but with a clang. "Hello."

[Charlie]

"Hi, I'm Robin, and this is Shifter." Robin said with a thumb pointed at Shifter.

[WizardGirl]

Hall of Justice:
The computer turns on and shows a news stream of Cadmus Labs on fire.

Charlie said
"Hi, I'm Robin, and this is Shifter." Robin said with a thumb pointed at Shifter.

"Selia." Selia replied, then she turned her attention the fires. With a sigh and a heavy heart she watched them. "What should we do? Just stay here?"

[Charlie]

"Let's take all factors in account, We are fairly well experienced teens, and someone told us not to do something." Robin puts his hand on his chin in faux deep thinking. "I don't see why not. The hero's are off protecting our sun, and we're here. I see many flaws in this plan but I believe that this is the best way to prove to everyone that we are true hero's." He says standing up and striking a slightly heroic pose.

Selia rolls her eyes, he looked cute striking a pose like that. Standing up she looked down at him, letting herself relax a little and nodding. "Let's do it then."

[Charlie]

"Well, let's hit all the cliches." He puts his hand in the middle of the three of them.

Selia laughs, putting her hand in the middle as Robin does. With a shrug she looks between them all and winks. "Who said a little bit of cliches couldn't help?"

[Yog Sothoth]

Shifter waved to Selia when Robin introduced him, and he wanted to do something fun since the heroes were busy saving the world once again. This whole fire thing at Cadmus sounded interesting and Walt was willing to check it out. When Robin and Selia began to talk about cliches, Walt laughed and changed into Sylvester the Looney Tune character.

"if striking poses is consider cliche then I will be absolutely despicable" he said trying to imitate the speech pattern of the cartoon cat. he changed back to normal and then put his hand in the center with his two new friends.

"So are we heading to Cadmus now or do we get lunch first?" Walt asked and cracked up laughing.

[Charlie]

"Go! Uh... Young Justice!" Robin says as he raises his hand, and he begins to leave.
