There is a great turmoil erupting in the World: From the plains to the mountains, terrible earthquakes violently rumble across the land, causing great buildings to tumble and homes to be destroyed. The fishing boats are being rocked by ferocious waves and fierce storms. The simple folk are being stricken by terrible plagues and sicknesses, and many are dying. On some occasions, there is what seems to be fire in the skies; Terrible red clouds that spit horrible fiery rocks to the earth, devastating the world further.
Some folks and soothsayers are saying that the terrible events that are transpiring are a message from the gods, a message stating the world has been corrupted by greed and selfishness, and that the only way to cleanse the earth is to destroy its denizens completely. Riots are being staged to the leaders of the land, and martial law has been placed. People are being slain in the madness left and right, adding to the devastation that is already occurring. Crime is booming. Looters and robbers are taking claim to the land that is shrouded in chaos and darkness. In this bleak time, there is almost no one with a positive outlook...
However, in this madness, there may be a way to end the wrath of the gods...
So yeah, that's the general plot. The rest will be ironed out as the OOC is being set up. Now, there are a few rules that are gonna be taking effect...
*As you know, this is going to be a pretty depressing RP. So beware to those who want to come into this expecting a happy-go-lucky adventure about slaying dragons and saving princesses.
- There is going to be hardships and defeats, it's a terrible world with a lot of bad stuff going on, so this is a given. However, you can still make jokes and everything if you'd like, as long as you keep in mind that this is a pretty seriously-themed role-play.
- Magic is to be VERY limited: I.E, No overpowered time-warping, portal creating, super-powerful spells right out of the gate. In fact, as of now, me and the co-gm are still trying to determine whether or not magic will even be allowed.
-On that same note, your characters are not allowed to be super overpowered, over competent bad-asses right away either. There's always this notion on RPG that everyone's character has to be a super-cool knight who can destroy entire armies, but not in this RP. Take that to free.
- If you must use an anime pic, then do so. However, it's preferred that non-anime pics are to be used in your appearance. Again, this isn't going to be some anime fairy tale.
-Again, a lot of details are to be ironed out, but suggestions are allowed to be given if you'd like. I guess there's one final warning: It's going to be pretty dark. Deaths may occur to your characters, but if it happens we will be certain to discuss it beforehand so we don't piss you off.
There's probably going to be a character limit of about 10-15 people, so it's first come first serve. However, and I'm not saying this to be a dick, if your character isn't up to snuff or if you're a particularly unpleasant person and/or someone who complains too much, we may ask you kindly to get the fudge out.
