But willpower isn't an emotion.... see how it was flawed from the start? And fear wasn't always what fueled Sinestro's yellow ring. I'd be willing to stomach it more without emotional ties. A light spectrum is easier to digest than an emotional spectrum. The red light could've just been fueled by the blood of it's enemies, similar to the comics just cutting out the whole rage/emo connection.

I have to say, some blue lanterns, and a few red ones are pretty damned cool. That said, I get what KL is saying.

EDIT: One of my favourite characters in all of DC is a red lantern.

I love all of the colors and think it is awesome. Like I really enjoy the Indigo tribe and the Red Lanterns, I feel like they improve the mythos and expand it. So for me adding the other colors made Green Lantern one of my favorite comics to read.

Just before the Sinestro Corps War in the last volume began DC had a lot going with their cosmic line. Adam Strange and Hawkman played huge roles in anything related to Rann vs Thanagar, a new team of Omega Men hit the scene, and Capt. Comet was cloned and reintroduced as Comet and gathered with a motley crew of other space cases including a Bizzaro to form the Aberrant Six... It was awesome...

Notes: Due to the death of his mother, Tharas despises Thanagarians. He tries to avoid working with the other Green Lantern of his sector, Kor Gunnar, because of this.

Also, I agree with KL. The "emotional spectrum" is a flawed idea. It's not completely bad, but "will" and "avarice" aren't emotions. And the rainbow aspect is a bit cheesy.

I still think the emotional spectrum saved Green Lantern from being a bit boring to me and made Geoff Johns one of my favorite writers at DC. my favorite colors are Indigo, Red and Green.

He's never really been a character that's supposed to be taken seriously. Stillone of my favourites in the DC verse. Also, yeah, Deadpool would likely adore him. And, as a bonus, the healing factor would allow him to brush off any adorable plasma-spewing rage-fueled kitty-fits. Match made in hell.

BRIEF Bio - Aurik was a young engineer fresh out of college who was a key player in the development of ghost tech on a world where people could phase through objects like ghosts. Now so could their devices and household items, etc. But as well as the phasing Aurik discovered invisibility second to none as far as cloaking tech capabilities [this will be brought up later on in-game with a War with the Ghost Planet]. Sometime later a lab accident sent the young man from his plane of existance into ours [in this DCU]. He was issued a power ring from the GLC after saving the life of his lab partner before the ring found him and transported him to Oa seconds after the accident occured.

Notes - ^^^Mentioned above we're going to have a War with the Ghost Planet at some point.

Wonder Woman's former sidekick Donna Troy became one sometime after John Stewart took a position in their rank. Her character (one of them anyway) was loosely based on the daughter of Dick Grayson and Starfire from Kingdom Come.

Yeah. Already being fearless or capable of overcoming great fear either one. Having a strong will is just part of it....
