[IC] The Doctor needs help (Soul Hunter)

The Doctor was laying there, He slept and had his arms across his face. Jack was looking at her "Alright sounds good, " He ordered Pizza for all of them. He knew that even id Selcusion couldn't eat he had to offer anyways before ordering.
"Ordering Pizza when we are still at work, is usaully just our thing, Expect Owen stupidily orders it under Torchwood." He narrowed his eyes. He knew the Doctor would be hungry so he waited for Selcusion to go and get him up.
The Doctor wakes up and looked at her with a smile smile "Ok I'm getting up."

He goes join the others and sits down. "Do you all live off Pizza , I swear last few times I was here.:" He teased them taking a peice. He was looking tired still. He eats some and was lost in thought and he wondered what Jack would say.
Jack looked at him "Ah its more of a once a week thing." He laughed "You just always seem to show up during that time." He leaned back eating a slice. He looked at Seclusion "Ah of course he would have. In some way. The Doctor changed my life."

"Hmm, he seems to change a lot of people's lives it seems and has a certain… love for humans as well" she said. "and in what way, I've read through your past already, and you were still as much of a flirt as you are now, it won't bide you well if you ever do get serious about someone" she said to him bluntly. "I've dealt with men like both you and Owen neither got very far when looking for partners" she ruffled her wings and folded them on her back. "Also the Doctor… instead of changing my life he saved me and gave me somewhere to go for the time being" she said shaking her head of the memories and Deadly sat beside her.

Seclusion was the type to dwell on memories and take in the details long forgotten or not noticed. She closed her eyes and thought a moment before she shifted and opened her eyes staring up at the ceiling humming quietly to herself. "Also one more reason why none of you have a chance, I've already been married once, It's custom not to marry more than that" she said and mode to show the ring she held on a necklace. The seemed to put Owen off a little since he didn't bother her as much afterwards.

"He does have some sort of love for humans, but hates some of what we do." Jack went on "Well he used to hate Torchwood, But they changed because of me, When I rebuilt the Cardiff devision.in honor of the Doctor."
He looked at her "Ohhh," He hadn't thought she read his past. He wondered if that was one of her powers. "But point is Torchwood wont do anything the Doctor would disaprove of, including harming you, or we'd face his rage."
The Doctor grinned and eats another peice of pizza. "Your still impossible Jack." He didn't like what had happened to JAck, but he couldn't change it. He tried to not be judgemental of him anymore,
He was relaxing in his chair."The old Torchwood used to hate me and Queen Victoria founded the first and wanted to harm me if I got near, Suppose I shouldn't have angered her." He had an innocent grin on his face. "But also the old Torchwood would destroy an entire ship of aliens I just spared the lives of and let escape. But I wasn't thrilled Jack worked for Torchwood till I learnt they were different."

"Ah you have been married?" He asked. He was looking at her "I was a long time ago too." He wasn't sure if he would marry again. He found it hard to not get attached to people. He couldn't marry a time lord and most other creatures didn't live as long as his kind, Expect for maybe Seclusions race had a long lifespan too.
He knew he had fallen in love again in past, but was always scared to admit that and get involved only to be hard broken later.
He had struggled to admit his feelings for Rose because of that.
The Doctor knew he always ended up alone.

"Of course I've been married although that was, let's see 100 years or so ago" she said before tucking the ring away. "It didn't last very long though, thing happened very quickly" she sighed, that was no lie but was also why she gave up her original name of Calla, the flower for weddings and funerals, the day she married was the day she buried her loved one and if anyone had heard the human general moving her that day they would know that. "Here's a puzzle for you lot, what is the calla lily? the answer is not flower but what is symbolises, see if you can understand it's meaning" she said to them testing just how long it would take for them to figure out.

"and you know people don't always end up alone at times, there is always something new to happen the next day always some glimmer of hope sometimes it's just very hard to find" having picked up on the Doctor's thoughts then. Deadly chuckled a little listening to her as slowly she got used to the company of humans and got that bit more comfortable around them.

"MMmm I don't remember how long ago for me.., " The Doctor sighed. He was leaning back whwre he was sitting. He looked at her "Suppose at least I had a family once." He sighed deeply.
He didn't want to go through the pain of losing somebody he cared about because they didn't live as long as him. He wasn't sure if he could get married again. But he had no idea, He would have to see how things ended up.
The Doctor was looking at her. He seemed to be trying to figure it out.

"I'm just afraid I suppose. Most creatures don't live as long as me... I loved a few humans in past.. I just barely could admit those feelings." He curled up on the seat he was. He seemed relaxed though.
Jack was looking at him .He didn't know what to say.

"Something my mother once said to me was 'cowards know no love' meaning they are too scared to take the first step on such a thorny path so they'll never know such thing, it is better to know what it is then not at all for the memories… can usually help heal the mind more than people think" she ruffled her wings and hair before giving a yawn getting quite tired, it had been some time since she'd last slept so rose to her feet and went to find somewhere she could rest for a change "If anyone figures out the puzzle tell me once I'm awake" she said drearily to them and once she did find somewhere to sleep Deadly followed to keep guard, mostly since Seclusion had a rather bad habit if she was disturbed too much when sleeping.

Settling down she curled up into a ball under her wings which gave her warmth as she slept under the blankets. Deadly slept at the end of the bed every alert encase anyone came too close to her as she slept. It was best they didn't come near her if possible.

The Doctor was looking at her. He just nodded. He knew that maybe he should just take a chance. But he still doubted he would met anybody who would mean that much to him again. He was still thinking over her puzzle.
He was tired still, he knew after a sleep that he would probably be able to work it out better.
"Alright have a good sleep." He yawned a bit.
He hoped she would get a decent rest.

He gets up and says goodnight to everybody before going to lay down and get some sleep. He was soon asleep. He curled up in his blankets. He was breathing deeply as he slept.
It was late morning the next day when he finally awoke. He heard Jack aruging with one of his team about something. He sits up rubbing his eyes. He guessed that somebody had done something wrong as normal.

A rather disgruntled Seclusion woke up where she was hearing shouting although it still seemed like nonsense blabber to her she awned and stretched out her wings on her back before she got out of the bed she'd found and looked back to her signs that had changed colour over night but ruffling them she changed her feathers back to their blue colour. "Let's see" she muttered and ruffled her hair before she walked into the pom where she heard the argument "what is the fight about?" she asked nonchalantly.

Seclusion listened and decided to then just sit down in the chair and looked to the computer screens "Hmm, what are those blips there?" she asked them. "Wonder why i can't sense them either" she frowned "and anyone figured out my puzzle yet?"

The Doctor goes to see what is up. He is half asleep.He rubbed his eyes. He knew that it was normal that the Torchwood team would sometimes have disagreements when somebody made the wrong decision.

"MMMMm its the flower of life and death " The Doctor replied. He was looking at her "Ah sounds like somebody did something wrong and JAck is angry about it, I'm used to that, but JAck doesnt like it when his orders are disobeyed."
He wondered what had been done wrong and if it was to do with the blips. He was looking at the screen. The Doctor was stretching a bit "Wonder if those blips were to do with what ever has been done wrong,"
JAck huffed and walked out of the room for some coffee.

Seclusion looked to him when he spoke "Hmm, well done" she said "quite a complicated little flower it is" she laughed before looking at the blips again "Maybe, but even so they're either soulless being or can block my sight which is quite difficult because i can't sense them" she frowned rather bothered by it now. "I'm going to go see what they are let's see" she looked to where the blips were and began to walk off in that direction and as per usual they never seemed to separate from each other.

She sniffed the air and stopped in her tracks "Huh, I'm sure they are around here?" she muttered and looked around again looking even at the ceiling "This is weird" she snarled annoyed and looked around a little more before heading back. "This is either wrong or my senses have gone haywire" she said to them.

The Doctor was looking at her "Ah yeah, kinda simple though," He replied "Didn't take me long to work out once I had enough rest and no headache." He smiled a bit. He was looking at her. "Be careful yeah?"
he wanted to go and look but he had a feeling she wouldn't let him because of his injuries.
So he just sat down and decided to wait. He wondered what the blips were. His stomach growled in hunger and he went to get something to eat, He decided to stick with a bananna and some ceral.

The Doctor was waiting, He just eats his breakfast, He then goes to check on the TARDIS. He can see she is still repairing but doing better than the other day. He smiled and stroked the TARDIS.
"A little bit longer hah old girl. " He rested his head onto the ship. "I'm still so sore." He knew the TARDIS was worried about him.

Seclusion sat down at the table and folded her arm on it before sinking deep into thought wondering what was join on at the moment. "How's the TARDIS doing?" she asked "and how are you doing?" she said glad he'd near enough picked up the message of not letting him go because of his injuries. She relaxed there for once and let her wing drape over her a little. Owen walked over and began skiing question to which she answered sounding rather bored "They act like that because of chemicals in the body we get from dead souls, it creates the medicine on the wings, mine is more potent because the amount of souls I eat, I can't eat anything else since it makes me ill" she answered "I see and why is that?" he questioned "Because I don't have the primary digestive system only the secondary" she explained "I can still live easy enough it's just more of a hassle and harder to find wondering dead souls half the time" she yawned wanting to go back to end but had other problems to figure out first.

"She is doing a bit better, but still repairing." THe Doctor was looking at her . He knew that she seemed to care about him. "Ah I feel sore mainly , bit of pain still," He was leaning on the wall. "Wishing could get time lord medicine to help faster, but cant enter TARDIS while she is repairing."
He was looking at Owen. He wondered what he wanted.
The Doctor looked at Seclusion not knowing eating normal food would make her ill "Well let me know if you want to feed while we travel and stuff and I'll see what I can do." He was looking at Owen.
"Jack still annoyed?" He asked Owen.
JAck was indeed still annoyed and had gone off to his office alone.

"It's ok, As long as I feed once or twice a month I can survive with ease it's only when I'm not in my normal state that I eat more" she explained. "Plus it's not really that normal, usually they live of fewer souls that I have to and with more food than I eat since maintaining wings that can fly uses up a lot of energy due to the extra muscles that are needed to do so" "and why can;t you enter the TARDIS while it's repairing?" she asked a little curious. She did care for the Doctor but more so as a friend if anything and she had a habit of worrying about others. "Also it's quite easy to find food for me so don't start to panic if I wonder off, and don't worry I don't kill for food I just go for scraps like vultures do hence our nickname"

She looked to Owen who nodded and he looked to Seclusion who spoke up "Stop hovering Owen" she said clearly picking up something wasn't right "If you have something to say, say it" she turned to him but he remained silent and simply walked off. "and that is the classic reaction to 'I eat dead people's souls' " she said and rested her head in her crossed arms thinking once again before she seemed to go to sleep.

The Doctor nodded and listened. "Ah I see," He explained. He hadnt been sure how often she would need to feed. He was still leant on the TARDIS. He held his head like he had another headache.
"Its dangerous ." He replies simply.
He knew that he needed to go and lay down again. But this time he didn't bother and slummped agaisnt the TARDIS. He was falling asleep. He didn't seem to answer anything more. His breathing was heavy.

He was still asleep when she woke later. He had more nightmares. Worse than hes ever done. He was sweating and seemed unable to wake from that dream. He was laying on the floor by the TARDIS.

Seclusion woke up a little later on and seeing him laying on the floor she got a brief glimpse of his nightmares and went over "Hey Doctor wake up" she said sounding a little alarmed and got him to sit up and shook his shoulders trying to get him to wake up. "Hey Doctor wake up" she said again and frowned before she tried something else which she was pretty sure would wake him up although it would leave him with a slight headache later on.

Finally waking him up she frowned at him "What's going on with your nightmares, you seem to be having them a lot and it's really not good for your physical or mental health" she said to him "Look such bad memories should not be allowed to haunt you understood, you need to try and think of something positive before going to bed, their must be something that'll make the nightmares go away" she frowned her own thoughts turning to that problem as well. Her own sleep hadn't been particularly peaceful either.

The Doctor wasn't easy to wake up. There was something off about his nightmares this time. He awoke and groaned holding his head. He lay back down. He was laying there "S...Something is wrong, "
He muttered. "My dreams are never this bad,"
It was too much for him, His eyes went hazed like he was in a trance and then he fell back passing out. Somebody was trying to harm him. There was wounds on his body that had appeared when he was dreaming.

He looked pale as he lay there and was breathing rapidly. He thrashed in his sleep a few times. He looked like he has really suffering. What ever was messing with him wasnt keen on letting him go. It was giving him and extreme headache.
He screamed in his sleep.

Seclusion winced at his screaming and tried to get him to stay awake noticing blood when she touched one of his arms her threads got to work repairing his flesh wounds and monitoring his body, sending Seclusion the feed back. "I see, this isn't just bad dreams" she shook her head and shouted "Jack get over here an give me a hand" she yelled getting Jack to take him to one of the beds and ale moved his coat off so it was easier to get to any injuries. She made sure her threads also kept him still by near enough tying him to the bed "Don't you dare comment this is serious know of any creatures that can manipulate a person's dreams?" she asked him searching through the Doctor's soul rapidly to try and find a solution not quite sure what to do.

She sang softly in his ear manipulating his body to calm down or tried to at least to ensure that he wouldn't end up injuring himself or anyone else when he lashed out and she also tried to get him to remain calm watching Owen when eh came in something was seriously wrong as her instinct told her to protect "Get out Owen" she snarled her teeth snapping in her mouth.

The Doctor seemed to be struggling. He looked very pale. He had known something was effecting him before he passed out. He breathed deeply. His hearts were beating fast. Jack was looking at her. He wanted so badly to comment, But the Doctor was suffering and needed help.
He smirked a little when asked to take off the Doctors Jacket. He lay him down. 'Just the jacket?' he had wanted to say, but kept his mouth shut. He hoped Seclusion didn't read his mind. He tried to put up some block in his mind.
"Ah yeah there is a few, but there is only one strong enough to effect time lords." Jack replied.

The Doctor briefly woke, The pain in his head causing him to throw up. He wasn't aware of his sourroundings.He passed out yet again, Jack knew it was going to be hard to find a way to keep the Doctor awake. He went to get a cloth to clean up.
He was worried for the Doctor though.

She had picked up on his comment but simply shook her head "If I did anymore you'd come out with some rather rude comment I can guess| she frowned at him "and what is it, tell me already, the sooner we sort this out the better" she said clearly more than a little worried about the Doctor's condition. "Honestly he's called the Doctor but I think he needs one if anything. She soon go to work on his suit jacket and then put her head where his hearts were listening "Ok, fast heart beasts lets see won't be that one, Jack what would it be" she said impatiently. "Also blocking your mind won't have any effect I read the soul far more of an honest part of the body wouldn't you say?" she said to him. "It maintains the body and mind and keeps them working together" she said before making sure the Doctor stayed there as she listened to information about the creature that could have caused all that damage. "That must've been what the blip was and also why I couldn't find it"
