Description of Appearance: Tanya has a lean build. Though she is a roughly average height, a bit on the taller side at 5'7", she gives off the impression of being very long. When she was growing, she was a child that could be described as comprised up entirely of limbs. Though Tanya evened out over the years, the general impression is still a lot of limbs. The girl, Italian by blood some generations back, has tanned skin, straight brown hair to her breasts, and green eyes.
Style: Typically, Tanya wears jeans or shorts, unless the situation calls for a different set of clothing.
Disposition
Likes: Tanya is a huge fan of animal kind in general; they are closely involved in what she would like to do for a living. Tanya also appreciates a thrill and a rush- a bit of an adrenaline junkie, if you will. She loves trying out new things; food, people, places, activities, anything. Tanya's other major like would be soccer. She's played as long as she can remember, and probably longer.
Dislikes: Being a rather curious person, Tanya hates not knowing things. (She also hates being tested on what she knows, but then again, don't most people?) She hates coincidences, because they make her question what she does know. She hates being tricked, or lied to, and finding out about it later- Tanya feels like she should do better than that. And, unless she's asleep she hates staying too still for too long.
Personality: If asked, Tanya would sum herself up as adventurous, which is rather true. The young woman is a very curious one, and has disregarded all warnings concerning cats and curiosity: Tanya is full-steam ahead, an adventurer. She is the person who goes and explores buildings of questionable structure simply because they're there, and they look cool. Tanya is the one who goes left where the map says go straight, if only to find out what's down the other path. Typically, Tanya is also very cheery. She's easy to laugh, and even crack a few jokes of her own. She gets along with people well enough, she's nice enough, she's the "pleasure to have in class" that all teachers rave about so many of their students. That being said, Tanya isn't exactly a martyr. She's a person who considers all of the options, briefly enough, and when presented with a problem, searches for the solution that is the most agreeable. Partly because of this, and partly because she's not exactly a leader, Tanya ends up making an excellent manager, even if only in small tasks.
Fears: While she is more or less fearless, Tanya does have an incredible fear of being deprived of a sense- particularly sight. While the dark itself doesn't scare Tanya, pitch blackness, complete silence, and just general absolute absences of sensory information terrify Tanya.
Past
History:
Tanya was a first, and ultimately only, child, to Daniel and Susan Greenfield. Daniel made a great father. And while Tanya is sure that Susan would have been a fantastic mother- after all, she managed the pregnancy and the birth pretty well, along with the first couple years of life- the young woman can't particularly remember her mother. A car accident when Tanya was very, very young prevented that. Luckily, the child was young enough that she doesn't remember. All that concerns her is that her father was an excellent one.
Throughout school, Tanya wasn't particularly remarkable. She maintained As and then, in high school, Bs were mixed in. It didn't stop her from getting into her state's university, where Tanya is currently studying to work with animals. She would like to start a business in training service animals, and is currently majoring in business, with some studies to relevant work in psychology. Her passion comes from the help that she'd seen animals do throughout her town, and how much her own dog had helped her out when things got stressful in her public schooling.
The only other particularly noteworthy mention of Tanya's history is her sports; from a very young age, Tanya played soccer. She's always stuck with it. The sport is a passion for her. And while she will casually enjoy some (American) football or basketball during the year with her friends, the girl has never played another sport officially except for in her school's gym.
Overall, Tanya lead a very standard, suburban lifestyle. School, sports, throw in some community service, rinse and repeat until she made it to college, where she has just started her sophomore year.
