The teacher left, suddenly, nearly everyone in the class gathered around the two, bombarding them with questions.

Saika: Let us introduce ourselves, I am named Saika Ten, a high ranking Vassal of Lord Zetta, my ultimate dream is to surpass the man itself and turn me in the next Most Badass Freaking Overlord...but for now i'm just a Badass freaking vassal, my class is Female Warrior, exactly the same as that....wimpy...grrr...pathetic excuse for a demon named Yui...she's my de-facto rival, and acts to kind for a demon...and i hate that side of her!!! I won't never lose to her, or else i won't be able to surpass my lord.

Yuuri: And i'm Yuuri Yamazaki, another vassal of lord Zetta, unlike Saika, i don't have those big dreams, i'm usually a more reserved demon, but i do enjoy a good-fight, maybe that's why i joined the man in the first place. My class is Sword Master...even though i use a spear...put aparently, my class very proeficient with it. Me and Saika are in a mission to find the missing Lord Zetta, and since he still needs to recover his netherworld and his body, we had to make his work for him by killing some monsters...and Pram the Oracle is making things dificult to him...speaking of Pram, aparently she calls him her plaything, mainly because he is stupid sometimes, Saika is also her target, mostly because of the same reason....maybe that's why she didn't retain her green-hair...she really likes it.

Nessiah quickly teleported in order to evade the arrow, but had to make a sudden defense to Giovanni's charge. The boy forced his sword to break the conjured shield, but was pulled away by a repelling energy.

Nessiah: Hmmm... I had my fun. Also, there are many people around. I can't stand witnesses.

Giovanni: Wait!!
Nessiah: Goodbye, my kindness. We will meet again.

Nessiah faded away as the barrier disappeared as well. However...

BGM: Memorial of Torment

Giovanni fell into his knees. The hit he took was a little strong, but his memories of the past returned to haunt and torment him. All these people that his blade struck in the name of a so said "justice"... all these families that had their hopes lost for war. He breathed hard, wanting to forget.


Giovanni: (Why am I... supposed to exist? I was only a mix of emotions. Wasn't it better if I would stay like that?)

Seraph: Alright, thanks for the information. Now, it's my turn to tell you what we know.

BGM: Moment to Reflect


Seraph: We had a world of peace. Then, out of a sudden, the Toadstool Royal Family came upon our world with their majestic castle. We could see their descent not to distant. We had the right to have it as a strange even, so we decided to move out and see what was happening. For our discovery, they had already set perimeters in the land of their surroundings, claiming them without our consent. That was the mark of a new war. Since we were out of men to attack, we decided to move back and try to arrange a harmelss meeting. However, they had already sent an army to invade and take our kingdom. The defense was succesful, but that meant how things would be.

Seraph: The 1st cycle of the war marked out meetings with them. Our attempt to invade their lands was successful and we were able to meet their army, bit by bit. First, we had to deal with their prime defense, the gate guard Sentinel and his superhuman strength. After that, we moved on, eventually running into the tricky Ametrine Triplets. Azrel, the gunner and main commander of the 2nd batallion, was always accompanied by his sisters, the reaper trainee Aria and the healer Anna. We defeated them and eventually met the leaders of the main army. Those were the Three Dragon Generals: Human Dragon Jin, Demon Dragon Dio and Angel Dragon Cookie. Alongside them was their ruler: Princess Peach Toadstool that was a Dragon Rider. But the true menace were the Toadstool Triplets: Vorpal Lancer Necrox, Elemental Sorceress Lilly and Light Dominator Magio. We dealed a battle, hard and almost impossible to win. But Magio betrayed them and used his power to save us. All of us ran away with him.

Seraph: The 2nd cycle was the point where we had to learn more about them and their strategy. At that time, some people joined them as they were against our ideals, so we had to deal with some civilians as well. With Magio's aid, we discovered a way to defeat them quickly: defeat Princess Peach and everything will be over. We learned, too, all the secret entrances to the castle and its rooms. Being able to bypass them and invade the castle was not a big thing and we eventually were able to easily reach and defeat her. However, we had to deal with Lilly first. She used her library against us and we were almost defeated. Her battle drawed the attention of the other units, so we had to run.

Seraph: The last cycle was the outbreak. We had to defeat them there or it was all over. Since the secret entrances were blocked, our only option was a frontal assault. With that said, we dealed with Sentinel again, this time at full force. We had our victory, but Magio's heart was getting more and more filled with regret. Our next battle was with Dio and the Reaper Forces. Their battle was not easy, but we got the upper hand. After that, Jin was our next opponent alongside the Monk Forces. We got the upper hand, but they blocked our direct path to Peach. We took a detour on Lilly's library, when we discovered that what was supposed to be a simple space became a maze as she used all kind of magic contraptions to stop us. She failed and we moved on. The last forces stopping us were the Ametrine Triplets, the Angel Forces and Cookie. All of them put all their efforts, only to lose. On the final battle, the castle was our stage. We battled Peach's Private Forces and then she moved to attack us. We won and the war seemed to be over, until she was killed by Necrox, leading the Death Army. On his defeat, we learned his true intention: he wanted to destroy the remaining energies of Brongaa, the Dragon of Purgatory. Under these conditions, we aided him and provided the energy needed to summon Brongaa and defeat him. With that done, they admitted defeat and left our world.

Lilly used her magic powers to help them as well. Necrox looked at every point but he wasn't able to find anything, until he pulled a rug and found a hole.


Necrox: Hey, look what I found.

Lilly: A hole? And it's recent...

Necrox: No doubt that she did it. We better go there and see what's down.

As he explained, a blue aura enveloped him as black scriptures floated and spinned around him. In exact, 7 were there, at least. Those were the Chains of Sins, the way that Fallen Angels like Giovanni and Nessiah were able to control their life.


Giovanni: That simply makes of me a Fallen Angel. An once holy creature that lost its light by commiting sins which the gods are unable to forgive. And for the worst of my luck, my Chains of Sins, the representation of my life, are almost connecting with the ones that bastard possess. If that ever happens, his death is mine as well.

Without warning, Giovanni shot one Chain. He had 6 remaining. Severe pain was struck into him, like a bullet crossing a heart. He felt dizzy and walked slowly towards the entrance, so he could tell Seraph of Nessiah's return.

These tree persons are members of the Intelligence Service of the Secret Police, being transfered to the World Crossers Guild during the last year's Summer to aid them when the Multilopolis Branch was still recruiting members, their families served the Kouno Akari, Celest Duarte and Aoi(Blue) Tsurugi families respectively, but after the war against Ouma 10 years ago, the Silver Leo got replaced briefely by the Amami family, which was when they started to develop and use the Modern Magic, the Lilly Yellow cut ties with the Celest Duarte because the Celest didn't want to fight for the city anymore and the Violet Razor teachings were abandoned in favor to use weapons that valued technology over magic, since the Tsurugi family aren't much proefficient with magic, and thus, these families, still with their will to fight for the city, continued to aid the Secret Police.


Jerry is the Tech Expert of the team, he and Lyzer were the ones that developed the Pocket-Space Weapon technology and the weapons that used the Person's Psychic abilites, which uses the "Alteration of Matter" that rivals the Magic "Creation of Reality". He possesses a large arsenal of weapons, which it's kinda hard to list, he'll just use the one that is fitting enough for the situation, making him unpredictable as you don't know what he might pull out of the pocket space. He is a bookworm like Marie, though he passes most of his time messing with machines. He values the good relationship with people and tries to be as polite as possible, he chides Mina a lot. Jerry is usually the captian when Seila is absent.

Seila, the captain of the team, Satou's Niece and Fael's Cousin, she's trying to bring the families back together, but with no sucess so far, as Fael refuses to bring the Celest Family back into the Four Families group, still, she's trying to find other ways to unite the two families again. Her family is famous for the art of wielding two swords, which was the reason why they were chosen by the Celest family so that they could improve their skills as well. Her weapons are a pair of two sword with railguns attached to them, she can easilly alternate between slashing and shooting, and even perform both at the same time, she's also known to be extremlly fast, rivalling Hugh and Masaki, who are currently the most fast people in the city. Since she comes from a noble family, she has a proper lady-like attitude, but she averts the usual arrogant attitude noble people has by being very kind, like Fael's mother, and very understanding about the people around her.

And finally, Mina, the girl who is currently the second best kendo fighter in the city, right behind Fael, who is the champion, she got a rivalry with him even before the current event and usually treats him bad because of it, even though she considers him an ally. Her familly has a reputaion to be the polar opposite to the Celest Familly, while they wield Light Magic and uses the Excalibur, the Violet Shadruss familly uses Dark Magic and a sword called Black Koutetsu, a sword that can only be wielded by the Violet familly, it enhances greatly the users Dark Magic, making Mina the only mage of the team, a curious fact is that the sword is of the same size as Mina is. She's usually a nice girl, however, her flaw is that she's too sincere, always telling what she thinks, not minding what people might feel afterwards, she's also hotheaded like Hugh sometimes, however, she has a great sense of justice, and won't rest until she makes Multilopolis a better place to live.

Then, two people appeared, one was a woman wearing a black dress, wearing sunglasses and a black hat, she was also holding some weird shaped object, the other was the girl of the Nehustan armor Barry would confront later.

Hugh's bolt reached the end fast, in time to be precise. His last step was the point where the chain regenerated and time started to flow again. The walls started to close again.


Necrox: Now you know something else that I can do. We just have this big stair to climb. But... we'll go flying, it's easier.

Necrox grabbed Hugh's shirt once again and then flied upwards.

Meanwhile, Lilly got up with the others and continued to progress in the ruins. There were many traps, alongside a big number of Eggmets crawling towards their way.


Lilly: Ugh, aren't those guys done yet?! I'm getting tired of shooting and wasting magic like this!

School - Corridor

After a long time searching, Kokoro wasn't able to find Magio in the entire school. She sat into the ground, a little tired of spinning around the school.


Kokoro: I wasn't able to find Magio! Aww, man...

Koishi: Didn't they told you that he isn't here?

Kokoro: Yeah, they did already. But I thought he was somewhere else in the school!

Koishi: Oh, you weren't surprised by me appearing out of nowhere... I wonder why...

And Koishi disappeared like if she wasn't there. Kokoro, by her subconscious, decided to ignore Koishi's existence.

Cirno kept battling with Suwako, but it was obvious she had a really small chance to win. After all, her opponent was a goddess, who was simply toying with her. Suwako saw that battle as child's play, not as an actual danmaku engagement.

She commanded the shields to attack the eggmets without mercy, she wanted to end this fast, since she wanted to proceed without more major interruptions.

Summer Area - In front of a tall building


Shuren: Alright, i'm here.

After landing, Shuren entered the building, she called for the recepcionist.

Recepcionist: Yes? Can i help you?

Shuren: I plead, In the name of the Crusade of the World, the way to the truth must be revealed, the pathway to a harsh reality awaits us, the army of courage is ready to battle!

After reciting what seemed to be a very long password, the recepcionist nodded and let Shuren enter the counter of the main lobby, making sure no one was looking, Shuren entered a door and walked through a dark corridor that was dimmily lit with red lights, once she arrived at the end of it, she entered a elevator and pressed the button that led to the underground, after a few minutes of descending, she could see through the glass of the elevator what seemed to be a city.

Secret Multilopolis


An underground district composed by many military facilities, ranging from house, research centers, trainning centers and many other things. This is where the military force of Multilopolis resides, composed by many people with specials powers as well, coming from many families of the city. This is also the headquarters of the four heads of the four families group, except for the Celest family, who defected after the late head's death. Any faction that has relation with this city is given a long password they have to recite in order to enter, if this isn't possible, there is another way to enter, that is to come with someone that can enter with a password. No exceptions are made, one must have the password in order to enter.


Shuren: It's been a while....this place is gloomy as always...without the sun...

As the elevator arrived on the ground, Shuren quickly went to the central building, the point where she must go first before entering the city proper, and to meet with other people with military status, such as Seila, Jerry and Mina.

Recepcionits: Oh, it's been a while Miss Shuren, i hope you're doing well on the surface.

She waited a little more, and then she met with who she was searching.

Shuren: It's okay, you guys got a mission from this very headquarters, i couldn't simply stop you guys from leaving early.

Jerry: This city might face its most gruelling conflict ever since the Shadows Invasion, the War against Ouma, The Zwei-Wing Incident, the Cental District Battle 11 years ago and the Civil War from 30 years ago.

Shuren: It's good to see nothing changed between you guys.

Seila: Although, Mina does have a point, there was no need for mentioning all of them.

Shuren: Well, if you were briefed on the recent events, then you probably know why i am here. But i would rather to tell this at the guild, it is related to a mission i'm going to assing for a group of members.

Mina: Sounds good for me, i want to see everyone's faces again.

Jerry: I kinda miss them too.

Giovanni woke up in a black space. He looked around, trying to find something. But everything seemed the same to him.


Giovanni: What is... where am I?

Then, a light burst happened. It was so brilliant that it looked like the sun on his front. When he opened his eyes again, a beautiful angel looked down at him.


Giovanni: W-Who are you?!
Marietta: So you do not recognize me, Giovanni. I am quite shocked. ((Reference to the fact that Marietta is almost in all of the Dept. Heaven main series. She only loses to Pamela.))

Giovanni: Well, you do seem familiar...
Marietta: That angel that gave you your old weapon... the gun Baroque...

Giovanni: ... Marietta?!
Marietta: That is right. I am now the Great Seraph of the Multiverse that watches all.

Giovanni: I see. Marietta, I need to ask you. Nessiah is back and my Chains are connecting with his again. Can't you do something to split my fate from his?
Marietta: ... I cannot. You are his emotions. Even if I spliced the destinies, they would start to converge and become one once again.

Giovanni opened his eyes again and saw himself into a white space this time. He looked around and finally found something. He ran to it and saw the crystal floating.


Giovanni: Hey, you inside the crystal! Can you hear me?!

???: ...

Giovanni: Oh, thank goodness, you're alive. Do you know where am I?

???: ...

Giovanni: Hey, come on! Say something!

???: ...

Giovanni: Why are you so silent? W-Why don't you speak?!

Necrox put his hand at the door and it opened. The chamber contained many pillars of stone, with a single small pyramid standing at the far end of the chamber.

Necrox: Look, behind the pyramid...

Three circles of flying metal maces appeared around Schwer. Under her orders, the maces started to spread, being sent at Necrox and the others. As they missed, some of them started to hit the stone pillars of the chamber.


Lilly: Well, thank you, Necrox. Now she thinks that we MURDERED our own brother!!

Necrox: Shut up! Listen, if we don't defeat her fast, this chamber will fall down!

Lilly: Then, what's your plan?

Necrox: Well, let's test our new powers on her! Fear Incarnate!!

Necrox used a dark flash and Schwer flinched before she could call another circles.

Zeppy jumped out of Schwer's head and grew into a giant. He fell down on Hugh and Thomas, but Lilly saved them with a powerful wind.


Lilly: That was close.

Necrox: Great, now we have to deal with a giant Zeppy as well.

Spring Zone - Hakurei Shrine

Reimu was looking afar while cleaning the ground. Her shrine was still without many visitors, but few were passing by when they came to the mountains.


Reimu: My shrine isn't getting many visitors recently. Maybe it's because of the height...? No, there is an aerial lift to a sightseeing point of the mountain.

BGM: Tension Rising

Then, before she could think a little more a big darkness was forming into her shrine. Reimu knew what it was.


Reimu: Oh no!! The seal is breaking!!

She shot some amulets to prevent it, but the darkness grew more and more. Reimu started to prevent the darkness' convergence by creating barriers around it. But no matter what she shot, nothing worked. Not even the barriers. Even a strange light, that came out of nowhere, didn't worked.


Reimu: Huh?! Where did that light came?

Polaris: Miss Reimu!! What is going on?!

Reimu: I don't know how this is happening, but if that seal breaks, the city is doomed!

Corin: And how are we supposed to stop it then?!

Polaris: Let us do something to help her, Miss Corin!! Together, we will be able to hold the seal!!

Giant bubbles appeared all around Schwer and Zeppy. With a gesture of her hand, the bubbles exploded, filling the floor with water up.


Necrox: Now, combo her with a wind magic!!

Lilly: You don't have to tell twice! Wind Sign "Draconian Swirl"!

A powerful gust of wind surrounded Schwer and Zeppy. Even if it was low, the water was captured into the gust and evolved the magic into a hurricane. For insurance, Lilly created a water flow out of nowhere towards the hurricane.


Necrox: What are you waiting for?! Use Aurora Pressure in that flow and we'll shock her out!!

Reimu: Ouch... that's an insensitive way to say that I'm supposed to know how to do this on my own...
