The two got out of their chairs. As Marie and Hugh stared at each other like prey, the did like two assassins, ready to blow the other.

She continued to shoot ice at all students. The class stopped as everything happened. Magio directly looked at Keine, who nodded back. Then, he ran away to the field.

Cirno: Woooo! So easy~! Is there no one to come at eye?

Magio: Fine. I'll take you on!

The class started to comment that Magio was crazy, jumping for suicide. But Lilly, Necrox and Keine knew that this was an easy task. Cirno smiled and shot her icicles at Magio, who ran fast, but not away. Although he tried to demonstrate that he could do it without aid of his power, how he would defeat her? By simply running as she shot icicles? That was ridiculous. It wouldn't work.

She got out a Spell Card, and used without forgiveness.

Cirno: Freeze Sign "Perfect Freeze"!

Magio: (Already, huh? Well, I guess your turn is over.)

Colored danmaku were shot fast, and then it stopped. Cirno launched big balls of ice at Magio and the frozen danmaku hitted him. The entire class wasn't believing on how a fool Magio was...

Cirno: I told ya, you fool! Eye'm the strongest!... Wait. Ah, you're...!!

BGM: Magus Night

The fog cleared. He was still there. Cirno finally realized who he was. A true magician which she couldn't defy, not even once. That magician was Magio, which knows fully well how to fight. He knew that doing that with Cirno was overpowering, but he wouldn't forgive her for attacking innocents like if it was nothing,


Magio: Good hit. But, now... it's my turn!

He started to fly, just like her. There was no need of wings. He pointed his hand at her. At response, she faked that she mistook him for any student. However, which other student would simply fly like that. Unless it was a hidden fighter, or had powers, no one could mistake him.

Cirno: A-A-Ah, it was a mistake...!! A mistake!!

Magio: You're the strongest, aren't you? Then you should know how to evade, right?

Behind, in front, around... a sea of colorful stars appeared. Upon the snap of his fingers, they were shot at the fairy. Cirno lost the courage to fight, she somehow knew that she wouldn't win. However, she wouldn't lose her cool amidst the battle. She wouldn't. Her attacks continued at fiercest that it was... but that level of ferocity in danmaku wasn't enough. Not for him. His stars were overwhelming compared to the glass she shot. However, Cirno wouldn't give up. Never in her life as a fairy.

Cirno: Eye won't give up! Eye'm the STRONGEST! Take this! Snow Sign "Diamond Blizzard"!!

Upon her other Spell Card, icicles came out of random. Magio cruised over them, shooting more stars. She defended, but it wasn't enough. Soon, Magio held his own Spell Card.

Cirno: Oh no... C-Checkmate...?!

Magio: ... Goodbye, and sorry for this. Star Sign "5 Pure Stars in the Blank Space"!

Cirno was enveloped by white and shiny danmaku. She couldn't move much. Behind Magio, five stars appeared. Red, Blue, Green, Yellow and White. At once, they hitted Cirno, causing a big explosion and sending her flying away.

Cirno: MAGIO!!! EYE WILL BE BACK!!! AND THEN, EYE'LL DEFEAT YOU~!!!

Magio descended and finally reached the ground. He looked at the class, which looked really surprised, except some faces in that crowd.

The class ran, all waving goodbye. Magio scratched his head, but Necrox helped raising his mood... or at least, he tried.

The space made a crack and then it started to break. Wearing a white dress, her eyes almost without life...

Out of nowhere, chains appeared and tried to pierce Necrox, but he transformed into bats and then reappeared in the air. The chains, filled with blood, meat and bones are full of sins of fallen warriors.

Magio: Didn't you heard Necrox? What he said is the same thing as the no I give to you.


Peach: ... I see... such a pain...

More chains came. Lilly rose a stone from the ground to stop them.

Peach broke space and disappeared. The chains faded away, and the smell of blood was finally gone.

Spinning her broom, Marisa shots a star upwards, then, said star decends on Celica, and all the Danmaku scattered converge to her position, all it was heard is a great explosion.

Minerva teleports to behind Marisa and started to throw punches of her, being used to fighting puppeters, Marisa antecipated it and dodged sideways, but got hit by a fireball.

Keine returned to her table. She sat on the table and closed her eyes, as she started to think. For Peach to be here, it was the meaning of catastrophe.


Keine: ... That is Peach Toadstool Yakumo, the older sister of the Toadstool Triplets and the current head of the Toadstool Royal Family. She wasn't like this in the past, being a lively girl, like any woman at her young age. After making a Link with Yukari, she became this devil that stood right in front of you.

Necrox: The reason why we said that Yukari escaped is because she is one of Peach's aimed persons. Since Yukari is responsible for controlling borders, she tends to stop her easy lifestyle of hibernating.

Lilly: And the power she uses is greatly agressive than Yukari's. Yukari controls existent borders, she desires to break the impossible ones. All the power she uses comes from fallen warriors, either killed by her or not. That's why you felt a little weak.

BGM: The Day the Wind Blew

Magio looked at the sun. Everything seemed bright, like a normal day in Spring. But, now with his sister out and in the hunt, these normal days would become strange again. The smell of battle that always stood in some moments would come back to haunt him.


Magio: ... Necrox, Lilly... I guess we have to go away... again...

Necrox: What the... what's wrong with you?! How can you say that now?

Lilly: ... Is it... because of Fael an the others...?

Magio simply nodded and continued to look at the sun. It was already setting. Soon, the moon would take place and the night would come. Keine looked at Magio.

Magio: Answer... for what?

Keine: The question is "What is hidden under your everyday smile?"... and now I found. You're worried with all of us, aren't you? You believe that Peach would come here and kill all of us... am I right?

Magio got first, followed by Necrox, Lilly and the rest.

Rinnosuke: M-Magio, don't go calling me that. Anyway...

Rinnosuke snapped his fingers and 8 chairs appeared. He sat on the one in front of the rest and started to speak.

Info: Creates statues that will surround the enemy. Can be used as a shield.

Info: Creates a floating black torch. It detonates upon user's touch.

Info: Charges electricity into himself to boost. Can grant electrical damage by simply touching the enemy.

Rachel: I can tell why, someone has been lurking around here as we speak.

Hugh was pinching his nose to something he called "stench of roses". Rachel got down from her chair as the table disappeared and the chair turned into her familiar Nago.


Rachel: It has been a while, you all seem determined...more than the bunch of little cry babies that i once met.

Hugh: Cut the crap rabbit, and tell us what you want with us already you bunny leech.

Rachel: Oh my Hugh, are you sure you are supposed to spout those uncouth insults when my buttler is around.

Hugh: Aww godda-

He starts to get a beating from Valkenhayn.


Valkenhayn: Must i always teach you to behave when directing your foul mouth to madam Rachel?

Rachel: It's okay for now Valkenhayn, i don't want him crippled before the test.

Azrael: Whatever, will they even last that long? They are just a bunch of kids.

Hugh: Didn't this get more interesting now? It has been a while since i saw someone that actually made me tremble.

Rosenkreuz snapped his fingers as Magio, Necrox and Lilly were sent to the other side of the grassland.

They started to walk back to were they began, but soon noticed a big amount of fairies and Eggmets.


Lilly: I'm starting to suppose that he switched us with Liebea. She must be at the start.

Necrox: Good point, Captain Obvious. He wanted to watch closely how we'll battle with her.

Magio: You two, stop fighting. We must give our all, like Fael and the others are doing. Now, let's go.

Platform to platform, they jumped destroying the enemies that stood in their front. The fairies and Eggmets battled back, but their little shots were inneficient. There were many enemies in number, but soon they were dwindling. As they passed the first section out of four, the second seemed to be a balance.


Necrox: Spikes... one touch and you're dead...

Lilly: Those are the most bugging, if you see. I guess that we'll deal with falling platforms from now on too...

Magio: Let's go or else all our efforts will be in vain.

Necrox: It doesn't really make sense saying a heroic phrase like that. We're only going against Liebea, so what's the point?

They continued to walk, jumping over the platforms. Lilly almost fell, but Necrox saved her before she would fall to a spike. They crossed the traps, leaving the section and going to the section before last.


Lilly: There it is! The door to the boss!

Necrox: This seems to overwhelm us with traps and enemies... well, what's more than what we already saw before?

Magio, Necrox and Lilly took their shots against the traps and mobs. They passed through the door, and walked the corridor, only to find Liebea at the beginning.

Necrox: Stop this drama. Karl is alive, you know that fully well.

Liebea: How can you say that?! H-How do you know that?!

Lilly: L-Liebea, calm down... I'm sure that Karl isn't dead. Even if he's away, I know that he'll come back, waiting to see you again!

Liebea: T-Then... Karl... no... he isn't coming...!!

Magio: Oh no! Get ready!!

Liebea... everythime she lost herself in anguish and despair, her power would get out of control. That's exactly what happened. Love Storm seemed to be a stupid, ridiculous power. But it wasn't. If used right, it could crush anyone, it doesn't matter who it is. Rosenkreuz simply looked at her, losing control like a doll without her master. Magio, Necrox and Lilly knew that this wasn't going to be the most powerful battle, but they knew that underestimating Liebea is a sign of overconfidence.

Liebea chanted her power. A great tempest plunged Magio and his brothers on the ground. Liebea was holding her head as her sapphire glowed brightly. Her power really was incredible.


Necrox: OK, I eat my words. She's more harder than what I thought...

Rebel 1 - ACTION!


Hugh: Let me do the honors! Haaaah!
He advanced at high speeds at Azrael, whoever, Hugh missed the first punch, Azrael grabbed Hugh's leg and threw him away, when he did though, Fael was already in front of him with his Wooden Sword in hands.

Fael: Take this!
Azrael blocked this attack, then grabbed the wooden sword and threw it with Fael still holding it away, then he started to get bombarded with Mei's energy spheres.

Marie: Yeah, i got him.
Whoever, before she knew it, Azrael was in front of her, and grabbed her by the neck.

Fael: MEI!

Hugh: You...release her now!
Azrael: Make me, isn't this what this test is about?

Marie: What...you think you can...hold me for that long?
Mei took a hold of Azrael's arm, sigils formed in it and they exploded, making him release her, when he recovered, Fael ad Hugh once again closed on him.
Fael and Hugh: HYAAAAAAAA!!!!
With a swing of his sword and Hugh's Eletrified kick, they managed to hit Azrael.

Hugh: Urgh...what this guy is made off?

Fael: I wonder if we ever injured this guy...
Azrael: Hehehehehehe...

Fael:....

Azrael: Guess i can fight normally with you guys now.

Fael: Nor....mally?
Hugh get's suddenly kicked away with the Mad Dog's absurd strenght, he then throws a punc at Fael, he blocks it, but is sent flying away, hitting the lone tree with violence.

Fael: Gah....
Azrael: I still havent tested your endurance yet.

Marie: Ancient Barrier!
She enveloped herself in a veil, to endure another of Azrael's punches, she got sent away as well.

Rachel: It's only going to get harder from now on, the better you fight, the more dangerous he gets.

Hugh: Only now you...COUGH....tell us this....

Marie: She...wasn't supposed to tell us before...or it would ruin the tests purpose...
Azrael: Make sure to not disapoint me now, you have arrived at the point of no return, if you regret, consider yourselfes devoured.

Fael: Kurgh...An oponent that get's stronger the better we fight...now i get the "hopeless" part...but...

He spins his wooden sword on the air, gathering Light on it, then he takes a stance and aims at Azrael

Fael: Divine Punisher!!!
He shots a powerful blast at Azrael, it manages to hit him and send him away, bouncing some times on the ground until he stopped, falling on his feet, with a grin on his face.

Hugh: Haha! Nice one Fael.

Marie: We must not lose Hope!

Fael: Let's go! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!
The three once again lunges at the Mad Dog, finally understanding what they must do.

BGM: A Child's Rebelling Heart still playing

Liebea's attacks were powerful. Magio shot some Light Spheres at her, but she hopped escaping his attacks. Lilly tried shooting some arrows at her, as Necrox's scarlet danmaku cornered Liebea. But it didn't matter, her power would save her. She called once again a tempest, forcing the Triplets on the ground once more...


Necrox: Damn, she's good!

Magio: At this rate, we'll never win her.

BGM: Persistent, Innocent Mind

Lilly too had her hopes down, but then she looked at Fael, Marie and Hugh's fight. After seeing how they were dealing with Azrael, something led her to try once more.


Lilly: Now, I'll make this be good. Let's see if her tempest can survive my arrows!

A big arrow was shot upwards, piercing the clouds. It splitted into little arrows that fought against the overwhelming rain. Liebea shielded herself with a boulder, but was hit by some arrows. Without giving her time to incantate again, Lilly shot another arrow that hit Liebea's sapphire. The jewel broke in tiny pieces, and Liebea finally lost the rest of control she had. With her hands holding her head, she screamed.


Liebea: Guh... AGH....... UWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!

Liebea got into her Desperation Mode. A powerful gust blowed, pushing Magio, Necrox and Lilly away from her. The ground where they had foot started to float, as each of them were into a floating boulder.


Necrox: We better end this before Liebea destroys the grassland!

Magio: You're right. Lilly, continue with the Arrow Rain!

Lilly: OK!

Lilly kept shooting more arrows to the sky, as they fell on Liebea. The gust tried to blow them away, but they kept their progress to defeat Liebea.
