Azrel left to another room and closed its door. K' started at every inch of the building.

Jinheki: What? Why you're so silent all of a sudden?

Then, the door opened. Azrel came out from it, but truly different.

In the next moment, 20 swords were pointing at Injya. Gloria's dissatisfied face showed that she wanted to kill her now.


Gloria: Lady Peach may be forgiving and kind, but I'm not. If you fail again, I'll myself deal with you, not mattering what she orders me to do. Am I clear?

The swords fell down. Gloria walked past her and stood looking at the staircase below.


Gloria: Now go and get out of my sight before I change my mind.

Homura: (I think i should be prepared for the worse.)

Homura: (But...should we really be involved in the events of this city?)

Homura: (Our powers aren't supposed to be used in something like this. I shouldn't have even followed that mayor...This is such a waste.)

Then, she checks on the cellphone. There was some calls from Sayaka. Homura decides to call back.

Homura: I'm sorry...

Sayaka: Well, i guess this is like you after all. We're still at the hotel by the way.

Homura: I see...

Sayaka: Lighten up okay? We're here on vacations after all.

But in the moment Aya said about the lobby, Kokoro twisted her face and looked directly at the tengu. Her eyes contained flames that would be dispersed if she done something.

Aya bursted off, still sweating a little.

On the rooftop of the hotel, Necrox looked down at them. The building was really high, so it would be hard for seeing him.

Necrox: ... There's too much people. Agni doesn't seem to be around too...

Necrox: I'll wait for the time before the festival. That's the only time that I'll be able to speak with them.
???: Milord.
Necrox: Hmmm? Who's there?

A black hole opened on the ground near him. A butler came from it, having his thin sword on his sheathe.

After some flying, the three reached Summer Lydian. Upon landing, Agni and Magnum looked at their surroundings.

Agni: Wow, it certainly looks different.

Magnum: And it looks even bigger...

As Alice started to leave, someone held her arm. When she saw it, it was no one other than Bloo.

Rina throws some kind of X-Shaped projectile, Jirmis repelled it away and tried to hit her with rapid-fire punches, she kept dodging them.


Rina: Ack!

Jirmis: What's wrong? You won't entertain m'lady enough with that performance.

Rina: Oh yeah?

She repels him away with two slashes. The Butler took distance while avoiding the Whip-Blade, with the last dodge being a jump. He then, charged an energy sphere with his right hand.


Jirmis: Take this! The techinique that is the honor and pride of the Matsuri's forces. Infinity Blaster!

Rina: Hermit Shield!

The sphere then, caused a massive explosion. Rina shielded herself, but was still sent pretty far away by the attack.


Jirmis: I believe this is enough.

He floated back to the ground, observating the devastation his move just caused, then, he dodged another cross boomerang.

Music: Ghostly Air and Smile


Jirmis: Well now!

Rina: HAAAA!!!

Jirmis dodge an incoming slash, then kicks away the boomerang that was about to hit him again.


Rina: NOW!

Rina does a slash that morphs her sword into the whip blade again, however, Jirmis ducked under it.


Rina: !!!

Jirmis: I know what kind of complicated setups this weapon can have. So i must be sure that i'm always attacking you.

Then, he kicks Rina away.


Rina: Urgh...

Midori: Rina, that's enough! Retreat now. I can't calculate the destination of the portal Suzaku took anymore. So there's no use in fighting him anymore.

Rina: But...

Midori: A man like him can't be captured. He seems to be the kind of guy that would fight to the death. Don't waste your breath on him.

Rina: I see...

Rina opens an portal, but before she enters it, she feels the butler's approach.


Jirmis: You look so confident on your victory, i wonder why is that!

He tries to blast Rina, but she hits the hilt of her blade on his chest, sending him away. Then, she extends the whip blade once more. The blade suddenly acts as if it had a life, extending around the butler from many sides, surrounding him.


Rina: Python Crush!

She pulls the hilt, then, the butler gets binded by the whip-blade. However, it didn't look like he was affected by it.


Jirmis: Too bad for you, there isn't a scratch on my body.

He frees himself, Rina de-summons her weapon then keeps looking at Jirmis, waiting if he'll say something else.


Rina: You have a nice protective spell.

Jirmis: Naturally...and i must say i was impressed with that last attack. Wheter or not that was your best, i can't tell. You're doing a good job hiding your potential.

Rina: A Dimensional Traveler isn't allowed to fight at full power when he is inside a world.

Jirmis: Ah yes...Maybe i was too greedy when i wanted to see more. I guess i can let you go now.

Rina then, finally leaves.


Jirmis: This might be a problem...If they can't fight with all they got then they won't entertain m'lady.

Some kind of floating spheres carried The Butler away. Anza felt a little saddened.

As she said that, a small boy appeared right in front of her. It was the last of the Toadstool Family, the magician Magio Toadstool.

Reimu: So, you're the remaining one. I'll make sure to beat you down!

Young Magio: B-But miss, what have I done?! I-I was just on my room, like my sister ordered me to do!

Reimu: Your brothers were such a pain... why wouldn't you be one too?

Young Magio: N-No!! I promise you, Miss, I-I will not do anything, so please, spare me!

Reimu: ... Are you actually frightened...?

Reimu: That's weird. Why would someone be scared? This is generally normal for everyone.

Young Magio: I-I do not know how to do it... this danmaku...

Reimu: You don't know?

Young Magio: Y-Yes... that is why everyone said for me to be quiet... I do not even know what happened...
Reimu: You do remind me of a certain vampire I met... except she knew what was going on...

A really big number of colorful stars appeared all at once. His nonspell was so random that Reimu couldn't make a planned way out of it.

Reimu: (What the hell?! I thought Marisa held the title of the most randomic, nonsense pattern since that moon incident... but this kid... is he just merely shooting?!)

Reimu: (Standing here won't do nothing... alright, Reimu, focus and shoot!)

Reimu flew through the many stars shooting her amulets. She had to micrododge the bullets more than once.


Young Magio: Comet Sign "Rainbow Comet"!!

Magio's first Spell Card was to summon colorful comets that left a trail of crystals as they fell down. The crystals started to disperse after some time, but their speed was really slow and the area would soon get filled with bullets.


Reimu: Doesn't know about danmaku my ass... I gotta admit, he's one of the few people that gave me trouble when it comes to danmaku!

She passed through the falling comets while evading the crystals that remained. The area managed to get so small that she had to use Fantasy Seal to clear it, not capturing the Spell Card. Magio wasn't damaged by it, though. He was being protected by a shield. Even so, Reimu dispelled it.


Young Magio: Aaaah!

Reimu: Alright, the fight just begun!

Young Magio: I... I will keep fighting!

This time, Magio sent open rings of small stars at Reimu. She evaded all of them, while shooting fiercely at him.


Young Magio: Star Sign "5 Pure Stars"!!

The first version of one of Magio's infamous Spell Card. He shot five big stars: Red, Blue, Green, Yellow and White. They rebounced three times on the field as Magio kept shooting small stars to reduce Reimu's movement. On the 3rd rebounce, they all flew fast towards the shrine maiden.


Reimu: What the hell?!

Reimu got hit by the Red star and lost one life. She had 4 more to go, but this didn't meant an easy task. She switched to her Persuasion Needles and kept shooting, until she dispelled the Spell Card.


Young Magio: Aiyeee~!!

Reimu: Damnit, I lost a life...
Young Magio: I-I am sorry, Miss...

Reimu: Don't apologize and just fight.

Young Magio: R-Right!

Magio's danmaku progressed to an aimed star shooting mixed with the spread rings from his second nonspell. The colorful shooting coming from the magician had surely surprised Reimu. But she managed to pass from this nonspell as well.


Young Magio: Light Sign "Magic Radiance"!!

Magio shot a light beam near Reimu. She evaded it, but the beam was generating light orbs behind her. Those orbs went all to him, closing Reimu's space from time to time.


Reimu: (That beam isn't a problem, but those orbs are! I'll end up using another bomb...)

And she did. Right when two orbs had definitely closed her space of movement, Reimu saved herself with another Fantasy Seal. Magio was still immune to it. She managed to break through his 3rd Spell Card, though.


Young Magio: Aaaah!

Reimu: Wow, you're good. For someone who never did danmaku before.
Young Magio: T-Thank you... but I still need to improve...!

Reimu: You have 5 nonspells and 6 spells to do that. Show me what you got!

Seraph: Wow... I am impressed...

Lilly: Reimu, the shrine maiden, always said that this fight was one of her worst fights ever. She never had that problem ever since she fought Yukari for the first time.

Seraph: Those patterns he did... that was just pure shooting, no...?

Lilly: I've always tried to not fight him after she said that...

Using his power to grant wishes through shooting starts, Magio started to materialize danmaku in random places. The spell was simply danmaku materializing, but since it took a while to disappear, Reimu had her time.

Reimu's thought was interrupted by Magio's nonspell. He started to teleport and shoot a ring of danmaku as he appeared. Whenever he did 3 teleports in a row, the 4th was a shooting of 3 rings at once. She managed to evade the shots and dispel his attack.


Young Magio: Space Sign "Movement Restricted"!!

That spell reminded her of Taboo "Kagome-Kagome", but Reimu knew the difference. First of all, Magio was restricting her with lasers. Secondly, Magio wasn't shooting bubbles, only the normal sized stars. Third, he was on a static position. And fourth...


Reimu: (Cripes, he didn't just limited my movement. The stars are being teleported through these lasers...)

Reimu moved evading the stars that appeared at her area and kept shooting.

They flied through the corridors and staircases below until they reached the corridor that led to the exit and to the entrance gate.

The Lifewave, it is the force of nature which connects all living things in this world. Extensive research has been conducted on the Lifewave for many generations, and it is currently known that up to six different stages of the Lifewave exist, from the Primordial (1st) stage to the Senary (6th) stage. Depending on which stage of the Lifewave living beings are attached to when they are born, they are granted varying levels of cognitive and physical capabilities.

Your average human being or animal will be born attached to the 1st to the 3rd stage of the Livewave, but there are indeed many exceptions to this.

Mystics, soothsayers, psychics; all of the people who possess these kinds of supernatural powers are almost always born attached to the Tetrad (4th) stage of the Lifewave. The most powerful people among this group of supernaturals are sometimes born attached to the Quinary (5th) wave, but these are quite rare. When someone is born attached to the Senary (6th) wave, however, it is considered nothing short of a miracle, and these people and animals are viewed by society as being sacred; no different from a holy person.

((And then, there's K', who is able to use Kyo's Flame powers by having his DNA, even though Kyo's Power comes from the Kusanagi no Tsurugi...Then again, Kyo might've been a 6th Wave Being and we never knew for sure. So i believe that if Iori's family didn't make a pact with Orochi, he would still be able to use fire despite not having the Magatama.))

Mana: So Silvy is on the 6th Wave?
Lyzer: Yes, pretty much...and i believe you girls are close to reach that as well. Just look at your combat capabilites. Mana is still not quite there yet.

Asuka: Then...DUST is after us because they knew we were getting stronger huh?
Lyzer: Exactly. Only a few people are already born on the 6th Wave, and only a few people are able to evolve to that stage.

Asuka: So...They might be after "her" then.
Lyzer: Her?

Asuka: You know Athena Asamiya right?
Lyzer: Yes, that famous singer who is part of the Psycho Soldier Team. She's under Heidern's observation.

Maria: The name sounds familiar...Heidern i mean...
Lyzer: He doesn't show up in public that much anymore.

Asuka: I see...You know...we're Schoolmates and close friends...and we came to this city to surprise her with our powers in the Autumn Tournament.
Lyzer: Well...You came here unaware of this organization, so i can't really chide you for getting yourself in dager...But for now on...

Mana: We'll take down DUST's organization as soon as we can, so you can meet up with your friend in the tournament safely.

The two doll sisters finally thought about being safe. However, when they turned their backs, Agni and Magnum were able to be seen.


Solaria: Frick, they just don't know when to quit!

Lunaria: What should we do?

Solaria: Set familiars. Danmaku will hold them for a while.

They called magic circles to shoot danmaku. Solaria's familiars shot fireballs in a straight surrounding formation, while Lunaria's familiars started to shoot aimed blue bubbles.


Magnum: Whoa! *evades a bubble*

Agni: No doubt they would use something like this...

Magnum: Using danmaku is cheating!

Agni: They'll obviously put more of thise things. I'll shoot those girls while evading the attacks!

Magnum: Got it!

Agni switched his gunblade to Gun Mode and started shooting at them. Magnum decided to wait for the right moment to strike them.
