Ragna: Yeah, that's right. This brat over here is my brother.

They repel each other, with Ragna gripping tighly the handle of his Blood Scythe while Jin started at his brother, in his battle pose and a smile.




Ragna: So Jin, what brings you here? You see, right now i don't have time to deal with your crap.

Jin: Oh, it has something to do with these pathetic people you're walking right now?

Kail: P-Pathetic?

Silvy: Dude, that's a whole lot of rude.

Ragna: Yeah, he's not good with friends.

Jin creates some kind of shield in front of himself, blocking Kail's attack, then, in a split second, Jin slashed Kail.

They clashed swords once more.

Alan Flare gets ups. The girls left the place and headed for the grasslands.

While all those events happened, Nepgear and Uni managed to reach Amilia.

In a futile attempt to grab her, Amilia just flew higher to avoid Nepgear's lunge.


Nepgear: urgh...

Amilia: Give up...if you don't have intention to hurt me, then you'll never capture me.

Uni: Look out!

Uni fired another shot, but she wasn't being serious with it, and Amilia dodged.

Amilia closed in to Nepgear, who started to parry her blows, but Nepgear was being slowly overwhelmed.

Then, Nepgear started to be assaulted by high speed slashes and shots, being finished of by a triangle slash pattern and then, thrown away from the building.


Amilia: Had you obeyed my sister's will...this would've never happened...you'd be able to fight me when you were more prepared.

Nepgear: Gah...

Uni: NOOO!!!

Uni jumped to save her friend, using the beam of the rifle the guild made for her, she managed to propel herself to catch Nepgear, then, she shot again to launch themselves up, back to the top of a building.


Nepgear: ...

Uni: Hey, are you okay?

Nepgear: Why it has to be like this?I can't say that she is wrong...but then...how can i convince her to join us?

Uni: ...

Amilia was floating right above them, ready to slash Uni as well, however, her slash was blocked the Uni's rifle.

Agni, Kana and Melody walked a little more until they reached the area where Ragna and the others were fighting Jin. They were close, but the area of vision wasn't that clear, so they wouldn't be that easily noticed until they decided to attack. Seraph appeared from behind them.

Agni: Seraph!

Seraph: Turn your blade into a gun.

Agni: Alright.

Melody: Should we not help them?

Seraph: Wait for the right moment. When I say, you shoot and we'll all go. Understood?

Agni, Kana and Melody: Yes!

((Time for the final boss of this little contraption...))

The battle with Sakuya and Auguste has ended and Magio went to the Foyer. As he entered there, he was received by Remilia.


Remilia: Magio, at least knock when you wish to enter.

Magio: Spill it, Remilia. Where's Necrox?

Remilia: Before that, do you wish some tea? You don't mind if I put some extra cubes, do you?

Remilia shot her bubble danmaku directly at Magio. Magio evaded them and shot directly at her. Then, she used a Spell Card.


Remilia: Critical "Heart Break"!

She shot a single small spear that released a trail of fireballs. Magio kept his evasive manuevers and shot her until the Spell Card finally dispelled. She threw him a 1-Up and left. Under a supposed red moon that covered the fog, they finally encountered.


Magio: I finally found you, bastard. You're really quick to run, aren't you... brother?

Necrox: *appears* I suppose no one in this place is competent enough to stop you. Seriously, I shouldn't have ignored Corin and Patchy...

Magio: Enough with the small talk. Let's get to the point already.

Necrox: Maybe you didn't realized it just yet, but you do know that this is all a waste of time?

Magio: So you're saying that you gave up?

Necrox: I just need some time to think. That's all.

Necrox shot a bubble upwards and then a wave of red knives fell down. Magio had to be careful since he knew that Necrox wasn't that bad at danmaku. The demon shot 3 bubbles at once, making an even more troublesome wave fall down. By a tip of a hair, Magio evaded the wave and dispelled the nonspell. Then, Necrox brought his first Spell Card.


Necrox: Fate "Scarlet Cogwheels"!

He knew how this worked. A web of lasers and a descent of red spheres into lines that followed the web. However, this was a dangerous opener, since there was little space between the lasers and the spheres just diminished more of the already cramped room left for evasion.


Magio: Ah!

And he got hit by a sphere. The 1-Up he won was already lost, but Magio kept shooting until he finally dispelled it. Then, Necrox shot another bubble to the ceiling. However, what came was a wave of lasers and a diminished number of knives. It seems most patterns coming from the Scarlets involved lasers, knives and bubbles. It wasn't hard, but Magio knew that Necrox wasn't the responsible for one certain incident in Gensokyo just for fun. It was soon dispelled thanks to Magio's offensive attacks, but Necrox soon came with another card.


Necrox: Hell Sign "Demon's Cognitive Disaster"!

Similar to Hell Sign "Mountain of Thousand Needles", this was a scatter of red shards that rebounced through the walls and ground. Of course the only exception is that Necrox added knives and bubbles to the play. Magio had to be really careful. Then, big walls of shards and bubbles were surrounding him. Magio was forced to use a bomb.


Magio: Star Sign "Meteonic Release"!

A circle of stars was released. It cleared all the bullets and eventually attacked Necrox. That dispelled the card.


Necrox: Gh...! I forgot you're good at this stuff...

Magio: So, decided already?

Necrox: Just a few more bullets and we'll be done with.

Winter District - Skies

Amilia, noticing she was at a good distance from the girls, decided to open a portal.


Amilia: I don't need them...I never will...

Then, she noticed a beam coming at her direction. She dodged it, surprised by its speed.

It was Nepgear and Uni, both now on their HDD forms. Amilia could also feel something else from them.

Uni retaliates with her own beam. The clash of the attacks created a strong shockwave that shattered many windows.


Black Sister: (She's serious this time around.)

Amilia: (Urgh...Who would've know that she would be this strong? Normally when an Irregular awakens, they are weaker than a Level 1 Dimensional Traveler...but she...)

Amilia's beam is slowly being overwhelmed.


Amilia: (She's stronger than me...)

She cancels her attack and dodges to the side. She notices that Uni was close to her.


Black Sister: Amilia, hear me out!

Uni tries to reach out Amilia with her hand, but she gets swarmed by more familiars.


Amilia: (Urgh...these are my last ones...i have to make them count...)

Purple Sister: Uni...

Black Sister: I'll be fine...go after her...Now!

Despite her injuries, Nepgear flew as fast as she could, but at the moment she was about to touch Amilia's shoulder, she had to block a slash.


Purple Sister: Urgh...

Amilia: I know i can't win...so i have to escape as fast as i can.

He takes a bit to reconize the voice.

He turns around to face her. Madoka notices that the bands covering his eye weren't there anymore. She saw that the scar over his eye had an unusual red color.

He shows the broken Excalibur to Madoka.


Fael: Just having willpower is not enough if i can't fight back...

Madoka: Yeah...i admit i don't have an answer for that...I'm not a fighter like all of you.

Akina: Whoa! It looks like he's considering it.

Suddenly, some monsters have appeared in the Grasslands. They looked like a mix of a human body and the head of a crocodile, they also walked like wolves. However, instead of a skin, it looked like they were always covered in dark-fire. They quickly surrounded both Madoka and Fael.


Madoka: What?

Fael: Damn...

Hugh: These things...

Karina: (That face...does Hugh knows these mosnters?)

Sasha: So...we WILL have some action.

Rina: Yeah, let's kill these monsters quickly.

Sayaka: Don't worry, it will be over in a flash.

However, the monster were more quick than they anticipated. Some of them turned to fight the group, while the other ones charged at once at Madoka and Fael.


Madoka: AH!!!

Fael: I won't let you...

Using his broken Excalibur and his wooden sword, he managed to swat some monsters away, but both him and Madoka still got tackled by two that he couldn't hit in time.


Fael: Gah!

Sayaka: Fael! Madoka!

Fael: Not...yet...

He slowly got up, all the pain of his wounds flaring up, no matter if they were healed with magic, the pain was still there, making him weak.


Madoka: F...Fael...

Fael: I have to...overcome...this...Even if it's just for an instant...i will protect...

However, he wasn't fast enough.


Leaf: Master!!!

A monster tried to bite him from behind. Fael's sword suddenly dissapeared, making him fall over. He thought he was gone for good, but then, he looked behind.


Leaf: Argh...AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!

Madoka: !!!

Fael: Damn...LEAVE HER ALONE!

He used his wooden sword to hit the monster, making him release Leaf, unfortunately, the wound seemed fatal. Karin and Hugh started to fight the monsters off.


Leaf: Mas...ter...

Fael: Don't tell me...

Leaf: Yes...i was the voice inside you all the time...i'm the sword...of your heart...

Fael: ...

Leaf: You mistook the power of the sword as your own...that you forgot it is supposed to amplify your magic powers, not for you to use mine...As a result...i always died...only living again after you stopped using me constantly...

Fael: Then...why am i seeing you now?

Leaf: Because for once...you used your own powers...

He remembered that time at the Dream World, when he was able to use one of the Super Mode Powers with sucess.


Fael: I'm sorry...i'm so sorry...

Leaf: It's okay...i got to...meet you...and a lot of people...

Fael: You're going to live again right? Right?

Leaf: ...Everyone...watch over...him...

She just smiles, and then, she turns into light, returning to Fael's Soul.


Madoka: No...

Fael: Damn...If i had figured this sooner...

He punches the ground, calling himself stupid over and over while crying. Then, the same monster that attacked Leaf got up and went to attack again Fael and Madoka again.

Music: Everything in these hands

But he managed to punch it away, surprising everyone with the sheer strenght of the attack.


Sayaka: Whoa!

Fael: Dammed monsters...you finally were able to take something from me huh? Now guess what? I'm not the same defenseless kid from before, and i'll show it to you.

Fael's eyes were overflowing with tears of guilt and anger. His only desire right now was to obliterate the monsters that once again, threatened his life.

Yukari: I was waiting for this, Rachel, open a channel to his mind.

Rachel: Very well. (And, he's the third one.)

Fael suddenly, heard Yukari's voice in his mind.

Yukari: You finally learned your lesson huh?

Fael: IT DOESN'T MATTER NOW DOES IT?
Yukari: It does. It means you're ready for your next stage of growth.

Fael: What do you mean?
Yukari: I'll be blunt, you suck at magic.

Fael: Tell me something i don't know...
Yukari: But i discovered that your type of power is something else entirely, beyond magic, beyong psychic, beyond these dimensions.

Fael: Dimensions...
Yukari: Yes...What do you think of the idea of being able to be like Kael? A warrior that can break dimesions, a power that surpasses even mine...the power of a Dimensional Traveler. ((Although, as everyone noticed so far, Kael isn't broken like Suzaku, Midori and Lerafa.))

Yukari: Yes, you have that in you, which is why you were never able to figure out that your powers were diferent from the sword.

Fael: So...you trained me wrong on purpose...
Yukari: You're half-right, you would normally use the sword like your father IF...i didn't interfere with your life. You should thank that monster attack for that.

Fael: ...
Yukari: I apologize for hiding it until now...but it was necesary...

Fael: For what? With your feud with the princess? Am i just some tool to you? Did Magio also get fooled by you?
Yukari: That's for you to decide... Right now, you need to live. Unleash the true power within you! The power of the one whose history was interfered with. The power of the outsiders...

Fael: Alright...I'll play your stupid game a bit longer...

Everyone feels the earth shaking, the monsters stopped on their track, Fael was increasing his energy to enoumous levels. His pain still flaring up, but he didn't care, he finally could control his own power instead of mistaking it for his sword.

If someone's history is interfered by an outsider, they'll be labelled as "The Interfered". They develop a slight portion of Dimensional Drive. Thus, if someone decided to estimulate that Drive, it will grow until the interfered's power awakens. Not only Fael, but Hugh and Marie are also capable of earning such powers. Nepgear and Uni to used such powers, due to Anza forcibly making them "Outsiders". However, that comes with a price...they lose the right to live at their world, due to the risk of distorting it with their powers.

From the top of the tower, Iris and Yato watched the battle unfold. The little girl was so excited.


Iris: Heehee~

Yato: What's funny? That dude ain't gonna lose, I tell ya.
Iris: But the pets are working nicely. Polaris' little energy is working niiiiicely~

Yato: Yeah, no shit. It was a damn good idea to steal that brat.

Iris: That doesn't mean they don't have a healer, you know. I've already heard that Melody and Millie ran away.

Yato: But aren't ya getting too ahead of yourself?

Iris: ...

Yato: I'm itching to beat up that damned kiddo. Guess I'm gonna pay them a visit, whaddya think?

But the next thing Yato saw was a barrage of lightning coming at her. She was so distracted that she couldn't evade all of them. Once that happened, Iris jumped on her special machine, the Iris Capsule.


Iris: Now, if you excuse me... I'm off to welcome the guests.

Yato: Why you... what's your goddamn problem, damnit?!

Iris: I've no need to explain. A genius don't explain her work to mere vassals.

And off she left to see the battle from up close.

Skies above the Scarlet Devil Mansion

BGM: ANiMA ((I wasn't planning to use ANiMA now, but I decided to use it now.))

Soon, the ceiling broke. The red moon went to the sky and illuminated the Scarlet Devil Mansion and its surroundings with darkness. Then, two lights, one white and one red, clashed. And the danmaku fest became public.


Necrox: You're persistent, aren't you?

Magio: I'll chase you to the ends of earth if I need.

Necrox: Then I'll let you have some good rest!

Necrox once again shot a bubble to the sky. A wave of lasers and knives came, followed by many chains directly aimed at Magio. He dashed away from Necrox in order to evade the danmaku barrage and had to shoot from a distance that weakened the power of his shots. From time to time, he had to do crazy manuevers to evade the chains. But he managed to dispel the attack. Necrox took another Spell Card.


Necrox: Demonic Intent "A Need for Blood"!

He shot a red knife towards the sky. Soon, the knife changed directions and aimed at Magio. And behind it, hundreds of knives came too. Then, all at once, they went to Magio. He went even more away to evade and Necrox kept using them at a fast rate.


Magio: (I have to close in! Just wait for the moment!)

Then, after Necrox shot another knife to the sky, Magio rushed to attack him with the Keyblade. They eventually clashed arms once again and that led to the auto-dispel of the Spell Card. Magio dashed back one again as Necrox attacked with danmaku.


Magio: You don't get it, do you? Right now, we shouldn't be doing something like this!

Necrox: It's not something for you to say. So, shut up and be hit!

Another bubble and the same pattern from before, but it was more violent. Magio was hit, but he kept moving until he could finally dispel it. Then, another Spell Card was pulled.


Necrox: Darkness "Inanimate Shadow"!

Necrox engulfed the space on darkness and stared to shoot danmaku. Without any way of seeing him, Magio's only option was to evade.


Magio: That's your plan now? It's so like you, hiding everytime you don't want to take a choice!
Necrox: And whose fault it is?! Your damned rebellious attitude began all of this! If anything, Magio, you're the only one to blame if Multilopolis became a true hellhole!

Magio: You're right. I began everything... I owe everyone an apology for everything that's happening right now...

Magio: But even so, I'll fight! To fix everything! To create once again the peace I destroyed! But for that to happen, I need you! I've already said that so many times! How long will you keep ignoring me?!

Jerry: Hyaaa!!!

Jerry had summoned two spears and started to attack Jin with rapid-fire thrusts. Jin was using his Sekkajin move to parry the attacks.


Jin: (He has an impecable reaction time.)

Jin manages to knock one of the spears away, but Jerry quickly recovers the balance, then immidietaly summons a sword and swings it a Jin, who backsteps it while avoiding a slash from Silvy and Sphere Projectiles from Rosa.


Jerry: (Now.)

Unknown to Jin, Jerry was holding some kind of psychic wire, but he could see some glowing gree aura in his hand.


Jerry: Shotgun Cannon - SIMUTANEOUS FIRE!

He pulls the wire, and big energy bullets leaves from some Warp Weapon System portals, hitting Jin.


Silvy: Bulls-eye!

Kail: You did it Jerry.

Jerry: Did I?

Ragna blocks an attack from behind.


Kail: How did he get here?

Silvy: Hah!

Silvy started to pressure Jin with her energy blades.


Ragna: Alright Silvy, keep him right there.

Ragna launched a dead spike wave. Silvy dodged to the side. Jin then, froze the whole wave with a slash of his Yukianesa.


Jerry: My turn again.

Jerry attacked from above, throwing weapons at Jin while descending. Jin backstepped while firing ice projectiles as well, then he noticed the glowing hand again.


Jerry: (Alright, i'm closer this time.)

Jin: Artic Dagger!

Jin fires a Touga Hyoujin, Rosa stepped in to shield Jerry from the attack, holding the ice wave.


Rosa: Hurry, get in position.

Jerry nods, then dodges to the side, only to notice that Jin was close to him.


Jin: Fubuki!

Jin does a quick draw slash, launching Jerry away. Luckly he managed to block it.


Jerry: (Here it comes!) SHOTGUN CANNON!

He fires the bullets once more.


Jin: One Thousand Arrows!

Jin uses his Hiyoku Getsumei move, firing an ice arrow upwards, piercing through Jerry's bullets, but Silvy stepped in, using her Long Energy blade to cut the arrow in half. Before Jin could follow up with a High-Speed slash, Ragna and Rosa made him back off.


Silvy: Tch...Harder than i thought...both the fight and the arrow.

Jerry: You're right...

Jin: If this makes you feel less frustrated, you made me use two Distortion Drives.

Silvy: I see, then we have to start to actually try, right Jerry?

Jerry: Totally right!

Jerry's psychic aura is now more visible to everyone. Then both him and Silvy start moving faster than they were before.


Jin: !!!

Ragna: What?

Silvy: HA!

Jerry: Take this!

Jerry starts using a combo where it involves him discarding and drawing weapons from small to bigger weapons in quick sucession, throwing Jin away with a weapon similar to Kail's Axe.


Jin: Urgh!!!

Jerry: Psychic Pressure - ULTIMATE STORM OF WEAPONS!

Then, all of the discared weapons levitate and are thrown at Jin, together with some shotgun cannon bullets. Jin freezes all of the weapons, but then.


Silvy: Surprise!

Jin: !!!

Breaking through the frozen weapons, manages to hold Jin's attack then pins him to a wall, slashing him at high speeds, then finishing the combo with a horizontal slash.


Silvy: We already know how you react to our attacks, so don't think you can keep that calm expression forever. Don't you think you can make fool of us forever you stupid brat.

Kail: Whoa! Silvy...

However, Jin gets up.


Jerry: Tch...Imagined he wouldn't be defeated in our first hit.

Jin: I'll admit you got me with that last attack.

Jin closes in on Jerry.


Jin: This means i won't be ashamed of using this. Sogyou Kisaragi Shiki - Setsuna Genhiekiheki!

Jerry blocks the inital barrage of nine slashes, but then Jin warps behind him, slashing Jerry ninety times.


Kail: Jerry!!!!!

Jin: One down...

Kail: I'm going to freaking destroy you!

Kail advances with a leap.


Jin: When this one is going to learn...Empty Sky Form...

Jin once again lifts the Yukikaze Barrier, only to see it broken by a punch.


Jin: !!!

He nearly dodges Kail's punch, that made a crater in the ground.


Kail: SPLIT AXE!

He splits his axe into two, throwing one away then lunging at Jin once more.


Jin: I see...he's been completely consumed by rage. And it turns out, his even stronger than i anticipated.

Kail: *swings axe* C'mon! Stop running bastard.

Jin: (Heh, almost remembers of myself when i was consumed by Yukianesa.) In that case, master your potential, then meet me again. Sogyou Kisaragi Shiki - Kokujin Inbou!

Jin moves at high speeds, hitting Kail with powerful strikes, finishing him off by encasing him in a tower of ice.


Rosa: Kail...

Silvy: Tch...He took down two.

Ragna: That's Jin for you.

Jin: So far, i'm satisfied with the results. But since you need to be in a team to being able to fight me on equal terms, then you're still far away.

Ragna: So you're not planning on backing down Jin?

Jin: Not just yet. Show me something more interesting and i might reconsider.

Silvy: Rosa, look over those two.

Rosa: R-Right...

Silvy: Ragna, is just the two of us now.

Ragna: Yeah.

Silvy: Though i noticed that you haven't been giving your all in the fight. Why is that?

Kagura was having the edge on the fight. However, he noticed that Alan didn't seem to be affected by all the pain inflicted on his body, making him land some hits on Kagura.


Kagura: (If this keeps it up, he'll turn the tides on me...He's pratically a walking dead at this point. If i compare him to the Mad Dog, this guy is a weaker version, but still a pushover and without the seal to hold him down, which makes him keep attacking.)

Alan: C'mon Kagura Mutsuki, i'm not finished yet.

Kagura: Geh! Suddenly it started to get hot in here. (I better finish this right now.)

Kagura lifts his sword upwards. Alan also prepared and attack, but then suddenly.


Amandra: You've been doing a goob job.

Kagura: What?

Baron: We thank you for keeping my friend company. Thanks to you we finally got to find him.

Amandra: Leave the rest to us.

Alan: C-Crimson...

Amandra: Go to sleep Mister Alan.

Alan: Who are you? Don't get in my wa-

Amandra: Finishing Strike - Meteor Swarm

Amandra bombards Alan with a rain of powerful meteors, knocking him out.


Kagura: Whoa, don't you think that went a bit too far?

Amandra: Alan Flare is not someone to be taken lightly. Besides, you saw it for yourself, pain doesn't hinder him when he's excited.

Baron: That was kind of a creepy thing about him. Anyway, We'll handle him from now on, since the prision does not hold up to his standarts.
Amandra: (There has been several awakenings...three of them to be exact...Well...that doesn't worry me.)

Sasha: Look Rina, he's like us now. Isn't that great?

Rina: What are you talking about? This is the worst possible situation. An Insider awakened his DM Aura...

Rachel: You also hid a important detail, if you didn't stimulate those powers during the trainning, he could still be able to use that sword normally.

The monsters recover their balance, then charged at Fael, but he slashed them swiftly, Sayaka followed his lead and together, they finished the monsters without any trouble.

Hugh: Man...that was amazing...Not as fast as me but still amazing. (Okay, that's a lie, they really are faster than me...)

Sayaka: Well, i guess you can say Fael and me were born for this, right pal?

Fael: ...

Karina: Fael?

Music: I'm no Hero

However, the young boy fainted, still not completely recovered from his battle 10 days ago.


Hugh: Well, i don't blame him...

Sasha: (There seems to be other awakenings as well...it's kind of a rare event...but when it happens...)

Rina: (Oh my...what am going to tell to Midori Senpai...)

Madoka: Mister Fael, are you okay?

Fael: I'll be fine...just exausted...what about...you?

Madoka: It was just a bump. Nothing too serious.

Rina: By the way, that power just now...

Fael: Yeah...Not something i enjoyed earning the way i did.

He winces in pain. Sasha notices that his powers were still kind of unstable and in his current injured condition, they would kill him if he wasn't treated properly.


Sasha: (Why am i even considering this option? It's not like i care. I just came here for some entertaiment before i can resume my mission...)

Sasha: (Entertainment...well, he did provide me with some. And i like people who can amuse me. So i guess as a reward.) Rina, don't you think something is odd with him.

Rina: ...Now that you mention it...his powers are slightly unstable.

Sasha: Yes...Why don't we take him to the hotel and try to stabilyze them.

Karina: Unstable Powers?

Rina: Yeah, normally they wouldn't be a problem at the start, but he's still injured.

Karina: Oh...I get your point.

Hugh: So...we can phone the others to say that he's okay right?

Rina: You can be sure of that.

Madoka: He's going to be okay right?

Rina: Yes! Don't worry about it. As a matter of fact, he was lucky to have awakened closer to two Dimensional Travelers like us.

And then, a dark fireball grazed on Jin's face. It came from Agni, who was right beside Seraph, as the two jumped in.


Seraph: I suppose you don't mind an addition to the group, do you?

Agni: You know, people who mess with my friends end up on the hospital. And I'm not in for just standing while you hurt them, you bastard!

Agni: Black Infusion!!
Seraph: Archangel's Excelsior!

Agni covered himself in darkness and immediately disappeared in the ground. Holding Celeritas on his front, Seraph's four wings appeared for a brief instance, as they gave him a brilliant aura to help him with movements. Soon, Celeritas had transformed from a western sword to a katana once again.


Seraph: I had already seen your proficiency with this type of weapon. But let me see if you're truly fast.

With fast movements that the human eye couldn't possibly accompany, Seraph started shooting light slashes at Jin. Then, Agni leaped upwards right at Jin's side, while he smiled. And as he went upwards, he turned, aimed his gun and started to bombard Jin with dark fireballs.


Agni: Melody, do your magic!!

Melody and Kana flew to the other hunters. She called her piano and began to play it.


Melody: With all my pleasure! Music Sign "Benevolent Aleggro"!!

With a soothing melody, Melody started to heal the injuries. Compared to Polaris, her healing skills were mediocre, but she had some use other than that.


Melody: And an encore! Music Sign "Selene's Lullaby"!!

With another play, Melody raised everyone's defensive stats. She was more of a buffer than a healer, but she had her uses.

Skies above the Scarlet Devil Mansion

BGM: ANiMA still playing

Soon, the Spell reached its timeout. Magio and Necrox met eyes once again. And the scarlet moon grew more and more. The devil unleashed his final Spell Card in hopes of defeating his brother.

Necrox: "Scarlet Despair"!!

Following his previous patterns, Necrox shot a bubble to the sky. However, the bubble didn't exploded. It began to shot danmaku in the known "Boundary Between Wave and Particle" style. Magio started his evasions and shot Necrox. As time passed, it began to shoot knives alongside the pellets. There, Magio took one hit.

Magio: Gah... this is getting absurd.

Necrox: Then give up.

Magio: Never! I will never give up!

Magio kept shooting and soon, other bubbles came down as well. This was the final part.

Magio: I will... reach you now!

Necrox: What the- AAAAAAAARGH!!

And Necrox was defeated. The sky returned to normal and the scarlet moon disappeared.

Midori: Now that you three know what is happening in this world, and since the amount of Share Energy that gets here is really thin, you three will really need this to defeat Anza.

Neptune: So we won't get to see our sisters right now?

Jin fired another Hyouku Getsumei arrow, this time aimed at Agni.

Then, he did a Yukikaze slash toward Seraph, effectively dodging the fireballs while attack Seraph at the same time.

Ragna had stepped in and blocked the attack with a downwards swing, then throwing Jin away with a move...that wasn't dead spike, it looked more like a slash with the Azure Grimoire energy in the form of a claw.

Akina summons a DM Beam Saber. It was a proper Beam Saber instead of the make-shift one built from her older scythe weapon.

The blade color turns black, then Akina slashes it at the barrier, creating a powerful wind due to the pressure of the attack and the barrier.


Marie: Urgh...

Blanc: Now you know why i told you to hold on to something.

Marie: (Such an incredible strenght...no wonder Blanc looks confident...)

Akina: HAAAAAAAAAAA! SLASH THROUGH!!!

With one last pressure, Akina makes a hole through the barrier, breaking the door and a small part of the wall.
