Actually, I will post the details now, but it can't pop up for you tomorrow. You will be the first to experience the new quest system. Well .... I believe for Caits, El_Tigre and myself, this won't be implemented on ... Unless we surprise each other.
Anyway, the quest will "appear in front of you" tomorrow in the game.

Yes there are details hidden, it will be available to everyone once you have completed the quest. It will go on the front page so others will know.

That aside, though, is it still nighttime relative to the rest of the group? I don't to create some weird time discrepancy by having my char wake up so soon after fainting.

It is still night time. Basically before we can continue, will need to wait for TPMkII's post so I can post and make things progress. There will likely be a couple of night training posts for the party, but it will be the next day after that.

By the way PKMNB0Y, Aoi, the GM for the Black Bullet RP says you can make a character, if you didn't catch that.

What do you guys think about the "Quest Chance" thing I did.

Regarding this RP, the quest chance seems like a pretty interesting way to get to encourage certain actions. The gamer in me likes that. Though now I wonder if they're 'quest only' drop items and only exist if you (or a party member) has the quest.

Quest only means when you have the quest, then you can obtain the items.
This is excluded for if you are getting the item to start the quest.
That's what 'quest only' means.
Caits might outright say no on this though, and make it possibly that the drop rate increases for the quest only. I doubt it thought. I believe it is available only while the quest is active.

But thanks for the input. I thought it up while we were discussing something else. Just like, well, excluding "normal" quests and some "party" quests, we should make some just pop up like so.

@Everyone: Just so you all know. If you think of a quest or even a certain item you want and a quest made to get it let us know :) We want you all to be as active in the progress of this RP as much as the GM's :)

You don't even need to have everything written out for the quest. One of us will patch it up for you.

Pole-arms and spears are two-handed in SAO. At least from what I've seen.

The wiki says that One-handed assault spears are a thing but I dunno, I can easily change into something like a rapier, easier to find the skills for that :p Maybe even a sword.

We will fix and patch up, just small ideas or even a concept will work. I can come up with quite a bit with a concept out of nowhere (I've done most of the quest ideas so far)
So yeah

If you have the whole thing planned out great, we will look over it and then see if we accept it or not

If you want to make surprise quests, it is better if you PM one of us, Caits, El_Tigre or myself. (Like the one I posted for great_hellup earlier)

I didn't see it when I last checked
A one-handed assault spear is fine
Um... I guess I'll make a few basic sword skills for it now

Stab - (1 hit) - A simple piercing attack
Flurry - (3 hit) - Successively stabbing the enemy three times
Sweep - (1 hit) - A wide arc-ed swing, pushing enemies back (low damage, effective for distance)

It's under weapon skills in the Skills page. It has no description or even a single skill though, so I might just change into using one of the most mainstream weapons.

We are thinking of designing more sword skills at the moment.
Right now you won't need to include all of them at once.
There's still a lot of designing being done.

Please help us make some Sword Skills too. We will be setting things like mastery levels to unlock some.
For example, In One-handed Sword, the Sword Skill Horizontal Square, might have a 200 mastery of One-handed Sword.
We will probably judge how things go up in masteries depending on what your character has been doing. So someone who fights a lot can level their masteries faster, but someone who just sits around in a party getting exp, will get masteries slower. This is still being worked out though, so don't worry too much.

There's a chance we will skip some of these and just go with, from this floor onwards you can use this sword skill and some sword skills available by quests. We will see what happens.

I'll be fine for now with the three spear skills available, but I'll make sure to design some more. Also, what floor is the main group on at the moment? What level should my character be to fit right in with them?

Currently only just started so everyonr is on floor 1 being lvls between 4 and 7
