You're taking summer classes, Perry?
I am one of the last relics of the German diploma, a much greater academical system than BSc/MSc if you ask me. (actually, great instead of greater, since BSc and MSc do not make much sense in many regards.)
And for a Diplom we have these giant oral exams we have to take on subjects of 3 to 4 semesters. It is a huge workload but one hell of a ride, since we get the chance to see and learn everything from a better perspective and become better familiar with the bigger picture.
I also discovered that I have sort of an exam phobia (never had it back in highschool or with my first studies), constantly feeling like I haven't figured out anything at all... which happens to be a really common case in our field and actually the healthy attitude, but I unfortunately can not cope with it well, so I do three to four times more work than a statistically random student.
But of course all the crazy things one learns on the way make it much more than worthwhile.
